    • And there's is an irony in her words "in the end evolution always wins." She was just a soldier nothing more and nothing less, but clark wasn't bound to a role, he can be anyone he wants to be. And besides, in their planet, clark was born of the natural birth after many hundred years of them having the artificial birth which actually restricted their abilities to only 1 role. He socked in the yellow sun radiation for more than 30 years. In this case the evolution was him, not her. 😯

    • @Frost Flurry.. Kinda agree.. But that's not all, that's only 1 point.. She also mocked how he was hesitant to fight.. Hesitant to go all out. She thought that was his weakness.. Which is not true at all. According to her, traditional revolution is being set to one role, which is not true. She was the "product of failure" just as jor el stated in the movie. And in the end, kal el proved her wrong. That's why her "evolution wins " pharse is actually can be set against her. Because evolution means change.. Kal el is the change. Her words weren't false but she overestimated herself and underestimated superman's potential. Hence why I said she wasn't the evolution, supe was. And I know she claimed that she is the revolution, but claiming proves nothing , that's why I said it's ironic coz, she is the old product of failure of krypton, against which kal was the evolution.. Not her. She is the product of age old failure.

    • @Mr. Grumpy He had no clue what he was fighting as his team just arrived mid fight. They could not have known prior the enemies were bullet, and even rocket proof. But Stabler used all his weapons on them, and lost his team and ran out of ammo. He knew retreat was not an option after seeing how fast she was. He knew then he was going to die, and was making his last stand with the last weapon he had, and no fear. Faora knew that and recognized his heart when she said "a good death is its own reward". So yes, a promotion for his heart. As far as they knew at the start with so little data, they had an overwhelming fire superiority. 2-3 squads of what looks like Army Rangers. Hard to tell. 3 Little Birds with rockets and miniguns. 2 or more (I forget how many were taken out as they were incoming) Warthogs with air to ground rockets and GAU guns that absolutely turn armored tanks to swiss cheese in one burst. • @@sidabundai- Yes, this ONE fight scene is better than ALL of the fight scenes in ALL of the Marvel movies combined. The Marvel movies fight scenes are more 'comedic'...cartoonish...more-so action comedy, not to be taken seriously. But this one fight scene along in 'Man of Steel' has more depth. There're more gravity to the action on screen in this fight sequence. And ironically, in spite of the material being about super-powered beings from Comic Books, the fight scene here is more believable, grounded, and realistic. While in Marvel, the fight scenes have no real gravity to them. And btw, I like the Marvel movies...but DC is more authentic with the scenes. Also, the fight scenes in Zach Snyder's Justice League are far superior to the ones in Man of Steel, so by default the Marvel movies combined don't even come close.

I said that the fight scenes are more 'cartoonish'. They are not as good and as realistic as the more grounded fight scenes in the DC movies. There is more of a sense of gravity with the fight scenes in the DC movies, while the fight scenes in Marvel movies, although exciting, don't have a semblance of realism. Btw, the fight scenes in the most recent HORRIBLE Marvel movies (the Marvels etc) WERE the absolute WORST.

    • This!! I loved her character, as minor as it was. She was such an absolute badass and you could sense her code of honor, even if it wasn't one we follow. She clearly respects strength above all. She doesn't respect Clark b/c he, in her eyes, squandered his strength when he should be using it to dominate the world. She does respect the soldier because he, despite having so little strength compared to her, was willing to make the most of it. I loved that she took a moment to acknowledge his courage, and then in a way honored him by meeting him knife for knife when she could've just picked him up and tossed him 15 miles into the side of a building.
