These videos have become a staple, along with Marcus House. Thx, NSF! Keep rocking!!
3:46 It's nice to see people who enjoy their job
I was there last week and watched the tank cover being cut up. What an amazing experience. I recommend anyone to go there if they can.
I fink it is the biggest honour in the World, to work for SpaceX at the Time. I'm so glad to see people, ho tried day by day, to bring out civilisation to the next level. Thank you everyone so so much! Go SpaceX!!! Go NSF!!!
Great update! Thanks Jack and NSF team!
Jack is the best. Period.
Thanks for the update, your collective work is very much appreciated!
These videos are perfect for the time-poor like me - thanks Jack & team!
Thanks Jack for the great video
Thank you NSF & Jack, Great Starbase Update!!!!!
Another great update and info. Thanks y’all.
Jack seems to keep pushing himself, his delivery is different this video, more relaxed and clear. Awesome to everybody at NSF work hard to up the quality with every video.
His cadence of speech when reading is still very difficult to listen too. Completely unnatural.
Thanks Jack they certainly aren’t stopping for anything 😊
Thanks Jack, and thanks again Mr. Berginator for your intuition for this channel loved by all of us space nerds, ❤️ to Das, and Mary!
Really glad it seems like you're getting a lot more sleep lately Jack. Thanks as always for the great videos - keep 'em coming!
Thanks Jack for new updates
Thanks Jack and the NSF team, great round-up.
Finally the Jack Attack is BACK!
Jack. I just love these updates. I look forward to these more than anything else you guys do, except ITFs, of course.
great update NSF and good job Jack! you still sound like your yelling but I have nothing but love for you and the whole team! one thing though....there actually has been a lot of progress in the last week at the new office complex just maybe not as visible from the ground but from the air you can really tell how much they have accomplished.
Also, first week of June will be IFT4. They saying goes " slow is smooth, and smooth is fast." (just a old Military saying.) Thanks again for all your hard work.
Best year for a long time 3 Great flights. love you NSF 😘
Thanks Jack, I appreciate your videos!
I would be interesting for NSF to do a segment on the how SpaceX organizes and integrates the work flow at Starbase. This seems immensely complicated, but integral to the rapid pace of operations, and sets them apart from their competitors.
Nice try China
Another awesome video stuffed with information.
I only ever want to see you with this hat on. Never without it. It has become you, not just a part, it is all of you.
Love the Monday updates. Thanks Jack
Really nice work on this update.
No matter how fast Spacex is, we want it to go faster!!
Is that the new NSF merch T-shirt Jack is rocking? I want one! Haha Thanks for the updates
Tanks a lot !
Capping off the end of the berm just seems like good sense....having it uncovered like it was just leaves it open to the dirt and other material underneath the rest of the concrete getting carved out by pressure, wind, or rain....which would leave the berm weak and ripe for collapse
Indeed
@1:03 Yay Ship 23, Woo-hoo! You go 26! We see you!🎈🎉👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🥳 26 Rocks!
Thanks Jack!
SpaceX labour worker's are awesome ❤
Omg earthwork is literally my favorite thing to watch
If the launch is in the second half, It'll be good for me. My exams end on the 15th so I'll be easily free enough to watch. Plus, if it happens near the end of May, it might even fall on my birthday...
🧡 Nice job Jack!
Great information!👍👍🚀
Excellent as always - I get impatient waiting for every one of these updates. You chaps should hire a sailboat for the next trip past Massey. Not for the sail, but for the mast. Get on that also has an engine, because ain't no one got time for that.
Merci!
I hate when your videos end! I was having too much fun. 🙃
Thank you jack🤙😎👍
Wonderful
Lets Gooooooo!
Dumbo's ears again😂 ...but don't fret! (as Mr Jack uses so say 🤭) Btw: yay S26❤!
Party on dude!
Nice one Jack!
thank you
Thank you The Fie.....Jack
Steady as SpaceX goes with S29 & B11 next inline to the breach of greatness. 💯🚀👏
Massey is rapidly becoming... *_Ship_*_ Shape!_ 😏
A 360 cam on a reaalllly long stick for the boat trip at masseys would be a good addition! Don't think Spacex will be trimming the hedges any time soon!
That is one rad t-shirt - definite Miami vibes 😎🏖🌴
Good job, great channel.
Jack and NSF, y'all rock! Peace 🤘 ✌️
very good
As always, the big unknowns for IFT4 are the things we can't see: what, if any, changes are made or planned for S29 and B11, to make sure B11 succeeds in its landing approach, and S29 successfully demonstrates the pez door, RCS, and deorbit burn this time around. We can see and guesstimate the pad readiness status, but IFT-4 won't truly be ready until updates to both the Booster and Ship are complete. And I suspect those are the actual "long pole" items, that will ultimately defer the launch to June if not July. (Pessimistically - as is typical of me - I do expect IFT-4 in July... hopefully, the first half thereof🤞)
July sounds way too far. Maybe early June at worst.
Trench containing deluge system = treluge system 😊
Regarding the tile work on S29: Musk did say that they were going to concentrate on getting it through re-entry this time. That means making sure the tiles are up to their best current tech. (And making sure the ship doesn't keep rolling, which may just be software.)
I follow a civil engineer on YT, Practical Engineering. He stresses soil preparation. From similar site preparation, I would guess the weight of the added soil and the wicks will have to go another 3 months.
How about the Drench for the test firing deluge trench.
2000 views in 1 minute!
A combination of a deluge system and a trench... maybe a drench?
ITS A DRENCH!
3:46 This man is living his best life
Need more high bays!!!!
My guess is that there will be a lengthy stand down after IFT-5 to allow the construction of OLP-2 and modifications/repairs to OLP-1 ahead of the introduction of Starship V2.
Nope. That is not the way SpaceX works. They will do both at the same time (launches will halt work ofc).
Honestly i dont think it will make much or any difference at all. They have no issue with doing major projects directly in the hot zones and just replacing the random generators and such that were forgotten and thrown across the site during engine events lol If there is a delay it will more likely just be adapting to new manufacturing processes.
What are they doing to ensure it doesn't spin in space like the last one or lose control during plasma
Love the background music..... any links to it?
morning jack
Anybody else hear that fabulous try to get out there at the end? Lol
Your comment that the dev test launch facilities are basically in a swamp is well taken. I hope they are making all critical items hurricane-proof, because that is coming. The storm surge from Hurricane Ike that hit Galveston was 20'.
Are we even completely sure SpaceX will replace both chopsticks actuators? (I hope Im wrong), but it's possible the 1 (new) actuator was simply replacing a faulty or damaged actuator, and not an true upgrade for speed. It wouldn't make sense to have only one faster actuator.
Unbelievable channel.
im suprised jack didnt say more parking more better
Jack, great job, keep doing the updates. Great Work!
For booster version 3, dont they need a taller high-bay and launch tower?
11:03 How long did Orbital Pad 1 take from this stage?
Starbase is going to make an amazing Amusement / WATER park when they give up on this fantasy ! THE MEGA COASTER AND THE GIGA FLUME RIDE ARE GOING TO BE BIG HITS
😱🚿 LOL
Bom dia...já tomou café ☕....😉🥰😘😇
meh IDK they say they want to lunch a bunch more this year but they already took 5 months of this year for flight 4. They will need to be on their GAME if they want to have the predicted amount of flights they were targeting. Hopefully all this work we are seeing done on the chop sticks and other part are something that is going to help them in the long run.
It's going to be hard to get in 9 launches for the year at this rate.
It's possible they could have that many launches in a year starting March. Just not a calendar year.
Dose the new parking structure have super chargers ?
Its too early to tell yet.
Can you buy space on the wall to park your cameras.
5:27 Now we'll also have weekly "swimovers" ? 😂😂😂
Jack’s episodes are the best
When Orbital Pad B? Between late December 2024 and late April 2025.
BCLP-2 has a couple of excavations going on now. They're currently digging below ground level and they will be possible working on foundations as the wick system drains the saturated soil. SpaceX knows how to walk and chew gum at the same time.
Jack, I wonder: Is it allowed to fly a drone over the river? - or maybe something like Ingenuity to get nice footage ?
In short, no
@@JackABeyer Too bad
Wen orbital pad 2? 4/20/25
Maybe not for a while, and I know that SpaceX would have to buy it first because I’m pretty sure they don’t own it, but at some point I would not be at all surprised to see the next big development at the build site being to demolish both Highbay and Stargate to make space to build another even taller Megabay maybe also a lot wider for more workstations than the existing Megabays have. If things do follow Elon’s roadmap all the way to Starship v3 then I can see the current Megabays both switching to Ship production (because they won’t be tall enough for a fully stacked v3 booster) and a huge new Ultra-Megabay taking over all the booster stacking work.
What's the cat on Jack's teeshirt?
I dont know of "lil bub" But i can say its not the Starbase cat, that one is a different breed.
With rising seas and SpaceX being near a swamp are they at risk of being flooded near the future?
I wonder if they have thought of adding heat shield tiles to parts of the orbital launch mount.
The violence of that environment is a completely different type of hell scape then re entry or the other stages of high speed air flow. They would just turn into millions of pieces of debris within the first second of a static fire at the lowest setting. I totally get the thought process but in this case the TPS is just the wrong sort of material for such a setting. Would just be sand and trash everywhere lol
To brittle... They'd be shattered in an instance
I still think first half of may is likely
I could be on board with deluge diverter.
How about a delugeverter?
@Vatsyayana87 That's not bad. It's more Elon-esque. Lol
@@justinseans Like the Elonerons for the flaps? lol yeah i suppose so.
