  • Robert Patrick, awesome actor. He came to Calgary Alberta Canada for the Comic Con 2023. I got his autograph just as he left the parade by Calgary's Centennial park by City Hall. He was honored along with Lou Ferrigno (The Hulk) whom I also got a photo of at the beginning of the parade. I made Robert Patrick feel good by saying that in Terminator 5 -Genesis, John Connor turns evil so in actual reality, The T-1000 was actually a good guy because AI saw the future of John Connor turning dark. So Robert Patrick's character was a good guy after all. He said thanks for me believing in him that he wasn't a villain afterall.

  • I know you have to have a 'set up' to let the following action ensue, but the set up in this film makes *no* sense at *all* . At the gas station they kill, or attempt to kill, everyone including not one, but two goddamn cops, but inexplicably leave John alive, and kidnap his wife. Realistically they would've just killed them both to leave no witnesses! Up until that point they kill people at the drop of a hat to get away! And kidnapping just adds risk and complication. OK, they might've thought John died in the fireball at the gas station, but if so, why kidnap his wife?

  • Utterly preposterous stuff. No wonder we have basement warriors yelling "kick ass" every time a potential flashpoint shows up in the news when they feed on this kind of crap. You could list dozens of times in that movie where any one blow (never mind the two successive knock outs to the head that he took)would have done serious physical harm to John, but no, apparently he has terminator genes so a sledge hammer to the ribs is just a tickle.

    • It’s funny you say that, because the Marine bands and cooks are the ones that become Instructors for pre deployment training for other Marines prior to deployment. Also they act as the CG’s PSD for convoys while in theater. They are also responsible for rear area security in camps set up. i.e. Ramadi Iraq during OIF. Most folks have no clue.

    • Over 10 years ago I was a contractor on a small Marine Base in Southern California, every morning at daybreak there were several Marines sitting in the grass wanting to roll with anyone the came along. They were mostly doing jiu jitsu teaching, knife work was available. They loved their stuff, and so did their mates. @user-wu8up5bj9d you definitely should run away to the circus but I doubt you have the skills for being a professional clown. I’m ex-Navy, hung w/ USMC plenty, run into USMC vets all the time, dude you’re acting a bootlicker.

  • There's no reasonable case to make for having Rome stand a chance against John at the end. He could shoot him if armed, but the hand-to-hand is BS unless getting a sledgehammer sucker punch in. There's plenty of action. Spare the BS and have it end similar to how Equalizer does it. It's decisive and quick, with few legit battles that challenge him. Not everything can be like that, but when the discrepancy is that large between characters, it's insane to pretend it's close just for more unrealistic action scenes.
