Can we have Movies where thugs mess with someone who is NOT ex-Special Forces Ninja Warrior Secret CIA Op Delta Force Veteran Drunken Master. Then it could be interesting....
watch Sunflower. it's a Korean movie. the main potagonist is NOT a ex-Special Forces Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Warrior Secret CIA Op Delta Force Veteran Drunken Master Jedi Uncle Former Roommate but a gangster. you wanted something different. it's Korean and it's about a former gangster who did something, went to prison, got out, something something and the something something with the something and something then they something and trust me, you'll like that movie.
As far as I recall from watching the film a few weeks ago, Murphy is ex army, not ex special forces and as this was set in 1974, bearing in mind Murphy's age, he would have been an ex national serviceman who may then have gone into the regulars, like thousands of other men his age. They might even go into that in the film, when he's talking to his cop friend, but I don't remember. He's also not exactly a sophisticated assassin, just a bloke who blows people away with a shotgun for a local criminal for a few extra quid.
Why would we want that? That is every day life.
That's very funny 😂
That’s called “Home Alone”
Nice to see Jack Gleason acting in a different role, I had heard that after playing Joffrey, that he had retired.
I though Jack Gleeson had packed in acting to pursue academics? Great to see him on the screen again
The stache really suits Jack. 👍
So King Joffrey became an Irish assassin in another life. 🤣🤣
It's not a bar, it's a pub.
Oi, oi, oi! Fookin right!
Harry & Ron 😂
I thought King Jeoffrey retired?! 😳🤣 Good to see Jack Gleason on screen again. 🥰
holy shit, liam neeson is our charles bronson
Much appreciated..🍻
Rock on!
CLICKBAIT BS, not a farmer, not how the story goes
Can you say typecast? He’s the same guy every movie.
YUP. Apparently taken 10 is coming out. The storyline revolves around him rescuing the stepchild of a friend of a friends half-brothers sisters colleague that he met down the pub. Lol.
Ain't broke don't fix it. ☺
The one thing about liam neesons characters he plays is they always find the true character of the man, he thinks little of his own life when it comes to saving those he loves. It shows the audience in the end your left with the thing god gave us all, a choice, good or bad the choice is ours, some people say that thier choice was taken from them, that they were forced or forced upon, i say what choices did you make to lead you up to that moment.
Ah, ok, good to know your hindsight is better than people's foresight.
@@eyflfla Couldn’t think of anything clever or intelligent to say about the OP so you chose to bottom feed some crap about hindsight being better than foresight!!! The saying as I remember it is; *”If our foresight was as good as our hindsight, we’d all be a sight better off!!!”*
Well, that doesn't sound very plausible to me. I think the writer of the storyline has been at the whiskey.
Sipping some Elijah Craig rye...at the moment.
Value for money, ten movie plots all packed into one. This is a very busy film.
Not think her name bore a suspicious likeness to 'Doreen' rather than 'Darren'
Yo is that Jack Gleason? (Prince Joffrey)
15 👍's up US Recap thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you too
Nice V8 engined Rover they destroyed ! I hope it wasn't real . Looks like they filmed in Leicester ? An old Great Central Railway bridge over the street ?
Tittle please? Thank you
In the land of the saints and sinners (2023)
Thanks I thought this was a very old one.
The village where my great grandfather came from, even filmed on the road past his old holding. What are the odds? As this town ( Kilcar- Towney) is far out on the peninsula of SW Donegal! Amazing.
The special forces are a wonderful people
What a weird story
I've looked at about 5 or 6 of these US Recaps. Where do you find these things? Almost every one has completely unsympathetic sociopaths as protagonists. This is really scary to think that writers and producers think this is socially redeeming in any sense. Geeze, these are horrible movies.
That’s what makes a good movie, if you can’t handle it, go watch a superhero movie.
Crazy people.. leave it alone ..
Liam.....Nah. Be gone.
Dang I thought this was an Irish movie. But it didn't have an utterly depressing ending, so ...
you realize these aren't gangsters....they are particpants in the Troubles... two provincial armies...the IRA and the UDF.
================================== A Place of so much Beauty and History, ================================== and so much Suffering, Hatred, and Blood, ever alternating, two sides of one coin, spinning throughout Time. /
Agree Zen. While this is a movie I visited Ireland several years ago on a tour having Family history. Beautiful country as I traveled over a majority of the country. But you visit places, learn the history and are amazed at such violence in such a beautiful country. I remember visiting a Pub in Dublin with a big sign upon entering Stating " ABSOLUTELY NO DISCUSSION OF POLITICS OR RELIGION." A wise sign for any bar...
@@TJIRISH44 Scotland suffered too, but moved on. My ancestors were on BOTH sides in 1745, but harsh as the supression was, hatred was avoided, Scotland prospered. Scotland, although traumatised by a number of wars, and the failure of the Darien Scheme ( which drained 25% of Scotland's wealth ), embraced change, Scottish soldiers, engineers, shipbuilders, doctors, etc., were in high demand all over the world, and much respected in many other professions. / That same creatiive nature did not exist in much of Ireland, because the tradition of blood feuds has never died out. Many of my ancestors died in battle between clans, and land was lost, but I bear no grudge! But in Ireland, there are people still motivated by the loss of land from centuries ago! / If the Catholic Irish had spent a fraction of the money they put into the Catholic Church, on developing better horticulture, maybe the Irish Famine would not have been so bad? After all, Ireland was not the only place to suffer famines at this time! /
@@TJIRISH44 Those that fail to learn from the past, must go through the same experiences again and again, until the penny drops ! /
@@zen4men 💯 well said and spot on.
@@Leosarebetter Given the huge invasion of the British Isles, and the rapid alteration of culture, with cities lost already, it may be that unity in facing this challenge may go some way towards healing the pain of the past. We are certainly heading like Lemmings for a cliff of some sort, and divisions run very deep indeed. The Writing is On The Wall. /
Liam Neeson is a rabid anti-gunner. Never misses an opportunity to speak out in favor of banning firearms. Yet if you took away every movie he starred in where he murdered people with guns, he'd be working part time in a Burger King to pay his rent.
go make love to your rifle ffs
No. He would star in different types of movies, probably with swords. Gun nuts have no room in their heads for critical thinking
You couldn't get a synopsis more wrong....he's not motivated by money...he sees himself as a soldier. As you clearly weren't alive during all this, at least spend some time familiarizing yourself with the background before you go off half cocked and get it wrong...just for the clicks.
Go away it’s not real goose
This type of descriptive commentary is the lowest form of YT. Playing the scene without audio would be more enjoyable than this clickbait garbage.
Liam Neeson has the same look in every movie. Never changes and boring. Much like De Niro and whatsis face... Harrison Ford.
Thank you!!! Robert De Niro is the most overrated actor on the planet! The only thing that he’s got going for him is he’s had some iconic roles, but he has absolutely no range as an actor. Even in his comedies, he has to act like a tough guy. Watch him try to cry in Goodfellas when Joe Pesci gets whacked. Pathetic.
I think Adam Sandler would have to qualify as playing the same character the most. Every movie he is in, it's just Adam Sandler wearing different clothes.
Exactly!
Didn't Liam Neilson come out strongly against guns? Every movie he does he's this gun expert .I refuse to watch any more of his movies
Awwww baby got a booboo?
Start watching the old western movies... Clint Eastwood and John Wayne. 😅😅
I’m sure he’s gonna be devastated you’re stopping
A truly terrible script.
Just to be triply sure, you should hit the dislike button three times if you didn't like the summary.
I disliked it so much I hit the dislike button three times just to make sure!
