#jeopardy
the synchronized "ohhhhh" was great lol
I thought it was going to be Olympia, Washington. That was the only state capital that made sense to me.
that’s actually a pretty good guess i like that one a lot
Me too
That's what I was thinking too. Bummer lol.
I could only think of US cities named Athens, and I know there's one in Georgia, so my Wild Ass Guess was Atlanta.
Same, though I couldn't really square why there would be a statue in Atlanta commemorating the namesake of Athens. So I was pretty sure it wasn't right.
Same.
See, it pays to watch or read fantasy: Percy Jackson!!!
That's so funny that I'm not alone for thinking of Percy Jackson 😂
I misread the question as "state capitol" and tried to figure out what the state capitol building with the tallest dome would be.
I thought it was Atlanta, since there's an Athens in Georgia.
That was my thought process, too.Just a tad bit too far south this time around.
Nashville liked to call itself "The Athens of the South" back in the 19th century.
I thought Olympia, Washington
No big statues here, but we do have the largest bas-relief rock carving.
We have an Athena statue in Athens but it’s not that big.
🎶Bang Chung tonight!🎶
Reminds me of the book Stoneheart where statues came to life and battled amongst themselves.
At the end all three contestants said “ohhhh”. 🙂
I got this one only because I've been there, except I couldn't get in to see the statue because the place was rented out for a birthday party 🤨. It's still an impressive sight.
Also my guess for this Final Jeopardy Clue would have been 1 of the following 3. 1: Nashville 2: Austin 3: Boston
I knew because its my home state lol
Well, at least I learned there's a replica of the Parthenon there.
This category reminds me of the famous episode from January 2016 which ended up without a winner. Besides, two of those incorrect responses were included in that classic episode too.
I love how everyone groaned when Ken said the correct answer. I thought Nashville since it is sometimes referred to as the “Athens of the South.”
I never knew that nickname, so my mind went to Olympia, WA as a Mt Olympus reference.
It was so obvious, once Ken explained it. I thought how did I not get it right.
I didn't have clue. Maybe Helena 'cause it's Greek. When it comes to statutes, I'm limited.
42 feet is taller than any building in all of Montana hahaha
I guessed Boston because the city's devotion to higher education and Athena was goddess of wisdom.
That's the angle Nashville was playing in the 19th century. Lots of universities and art museums. They wanted to be known as "The Athens of the South".
I knew it mainly because of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.
Same!!! Ha ha ha!
This came here to say this
Same.
Same. And because of the garbage movie.
I knew it mainly because I've been there.
I guessed this because I grew up in part in the Nashville area and thought of the Parthenon, which I visited a few times. I second-guessed myself, because it wasn't in the State Capitol building, but the clue was "Capital", not "Capitol".
Somebody mistaken the total winnings. Ken said that Amy had a 2 day total of $47,695. The screen said $37,695. Maybe I heard it wrong, lol.
I had to listen again. Ken did say "37..."
I didn't know there was a Parthenon in Nashville.
it's been there since the 1930s, built as a Depression-era public works project. I remember the whole upper part had statues in it, but there was an art gallery in the basement.
I guessed Atlanta too
I did also and was pretty sure I was right. Whoops. Had never heard of a fake Parthenon before!
Comment to prevent spoilers.
Tough answer
Knew it because I went on a tour of the fake Parthenon back in 92.
I guessed Atlanta and was wrong
Me 2. I've never been to Nashville (my loss) and had no idea. I thought this was a tough clue. Clearly, so did our contestants.
Close game.
Is Mayim still involved with the show?
No
I guessed Albany
Me too
Congratulations amy on becoming a two day champion for a total $37,695
Something something spoiler-hiding comment
We were looking for Nashville, Tennessee.
Did you ever find it? It's marked on most maps with a star.
I got this Final Jeopardy! clue right.
Honest question. How do you do it? You get every single question right, so I'm very curious.
@@BlueCrystalTear I also know every correct response...... ...after I watch the video.
Nashville, Amy is a 2 day of $37,695. Congratulation 🎉
This game show 1000000X better than Family feud. Family feud can suck it.
That is like comparing Chinese food to Indian food. Both have their own flavor.
