I hate it when people say he would have become the best of all time, had it not been injuries. I started watching him from 1994 for both club and country, and I have not seen a player more complete than he was. He was both for country and club. Though he was injured many times, he still remain the GOAT

Yes, in spite of injuries he is the GOAT, because he was multiplied better, then before, and after anybody. So many ones don't perceive the level of difficulty of his dribbles. Football players now don't be able copy his movements. He havent got followers. He's still exceed all of the expectations (excluding we), compared to him, messi also is an ordinary player.

I would have to say with the many Brazilian players I admired, Ronaldo was on top of the list! Brazil offensive play and technical style made it fun to watch the team play! It took me years to see his injury in Inter on the pitch, his scream for help, the pain he must have felt, I was in tears watching it years later. I regret him not being on the pitch in the 1994 finals against Italy! Ronaldo with all of his injuries and who knows what he could have achieved but one thing we know for sure he was an inspiration for a generation enjoying Brazilian Football with Ronaldo as the Striker!

He would have a release clause of at least 1B€ in his prime, and at his prime he wouldn´t leave the club he would be playing for, no money in any entire League combined would be enough to convince a club to skip the, most certainly, biggest years of Glory in their History. R9 in his prime, had it occured and lasted for 4/5 years, would mean total club competitions domination for the club he played for.

I saw Ronaldo play during his days with AC Milan and Corinthians, he didn’t impress me at all. I honestly don’t believe he deserves to regarded as a legendary soccer player. For me, he’s not top 100 of all time. He was overweight, slow & had no dribbling skills. I really don’t understand why he got so much hype as a once in a generation superstar. Thierry Henry was far better than him honestly.

or happened to me at 28 I had a privileged physicist for soccer from a very young age, everyone in my neighborhood told me that I had legs like I was fighting, perhaps because of my descent I am brown and I am Mexican born in paratso tabasco mexico and I played soccer with people bigger than me and without a shoe and when I grew up I was an all-terrain vehicle with huge legs and thighs pure muscular power I started testing myself in a third division team and I stayed and then I played as coach chocolate hernandez a former professional player from first division very well known in mexico and he told me that I had nothing to do in that division and he sent me to a national team of mexico but my worst enemy the holidays destroyed my life and then with those races at full speed and faced and dribbles at high speed my knees did not support and at 28 I suffered the first injuries and therefore I understand the phenomenon of great power for our poor body
The reason why Ronaldo was so injury prone was because he had no talent. If he was actually gifted, his body would’ve allowed him to handle the difficult skills he tried to perform. He simply wasn’t meant to be a superstar, just a one dimensional poacher in the penalty box.

@@USMNTsoccerELITE Especially his ability to just outpace several players, just brutal and without any respect. He also had one of the best technique of the strikers from that time. I was glad to follow his career in that time and saw many games. He had so many injuries, that its unbelievable he had so much success. Im 100% sure that Ronaldo in his prime could compete today without any problems in "modern" football. No wonder he was now voted in the Ballon d’Or Dream Team.
