@@MrSimon1909 well, it's kinda impressive because normally 6th gear is an overdrive gear. Meaning that it's usually for economy fuel purposes and most cars don't pull as hard when they're on their last gear.
@@niceboi6364 it didn't pull at all on 6th gear lol. He only reached 230 once, where he then shifts into 6th and the video ends. if my BMW 5 has a gear left and on 230, doesn't mean im gettiing more speed out of it,. also the pull you're talking about is on the 5th gear.
@@shahan484 The car is limited at 230kph. In Japan even worse with only 180kph. If not limited it can do 260kph easily.

No it’s fine. The mirror is on a 2 stage mount so when lifted visibility is fine.
I had the GR for one day. Fuel consumption is brutal! Tho driving was a BLAST! I have never sweat while driving 😅 I have never felt so secure in a car!

There is a sound generator in the car. In fact the sound comes out of the box.. (But the car is really good! I personally would switch off the sound generaror.)

@@ancient_oak i read online they would only be a 2.4 engine. bit of a dissapointment, considering they have a 2.5 litre turbo charged engine, dont understand why they didnt just lump that in.

They surely will not do this on the GR86 I think. - So if the price tag of the GR86 is similar to the Yaris it surely will be less maxed out in some kind...

But it sounds like shit. And isn't that the majority of the experience? You can't drive fast anywhere anyway. I'd rather have a good sounding engine that isn't as fast. What you hear in the video is fake engine noise. That's not how a 3 cylinder sounds.

@@sooofancier Where did I say the car is slow? I said the Yaris GR is a turbocharged 3 cylinder that doesn't naturally produce good sound. So it needs to pump in fake engine noise through the speakers. Its fast, but a little soulless. I'd not spend 55K on sooped up shopping trolley.

Eh? Its not limited.... the car already struggles hard 200-230 (about 7-8s slower than i30N and 4-5s slower than Fiesta ST). But its not build for top speed, its build for fun. 0-200 its great tbh

The acceleration is brutal. I would've never thought it is a 3 cylinder. Sounds like a strong 4 cylinder more than anything. Why we don't get these cool cars in the United States?
because the US mainly still relies on older larger higher liter engines, whereas in Europe and Japan most cars are now under 2 liter so that development into making them faster is more profficient, lots of cars have super and turbochargers or even both we dont rely as much on naturally aspirated

Is this sound in cabin the real engine sound or is it amplified by some speakers that make up for the lack of, idk, call it "V8 sound buzz" same as in say sport versions of Skoda or lesser AMGs?
It’s amplified sound from the factory but it’s not a different sound - it’s the exact sound from the engine just amplified so it’s not fake V8 etc. I have disabled my amplified sound as I prefer a quieter cabin.

Gausah asal komen ngasih statement aneh sotau, analisis dlu baca2 dulu komentar yg lainnya, pelajarin dulu apa itu 500hp, apa itu power to weight ratio, apa itu highway & Toll. Autobahn / Jalan tol di jerman yg dibatasi speed limit pun sekenceng2 nya 160km/h, begitupun di negara2 besar lainnya kek amerika. Keunggulan beberapa jalan tol di jerman ga dibatasi speed limit, disitulah banyak mobil2 bertenaga besar bisa ngebut lebih bebas.
Kalo standartd 500hp, dari puluhan tahun lalu harga bbm di jerman jga bakal mahal bgt & cuma orang yg punya duit banyak aja sanggup beli bahan bakar.
GR Yaris aja dibawah 300hp jadi special little beast di SELURUH DUNIA. Ini lagi statement 500hp wkkw aneh
