If the second female lion wished to be included into the pride.. why wouldn't she begin to accept the playful lion cubs? Instead, the female lion gets up and walks away. That second female in my opinion was bad news.

The one I believe is younger, I actually just looked again, and I think she's a bit older maybe 4/5. She submitted very quickly and completely, only a few defensive swipes. Her tail wasn't up when she approached it was always tuked away it was twitching from nerves or excitement or anything that would get your blood pumping. She came in at an angle not straight on to be less threatening, she didn't really try to advance quickly or all that close to the cubs. She just wanted to see what was up. • Those cubs are so cute. I hope someday that I can see Lion cubs in person. In September 2019, I went to a large zoo 1 hour from me. It was the first time I got to see a Lion in person. It was a large habitat and with natural foliage. It made the Lion look like it was in the wild. There was no fence to take photos through, but natural barriers. I had a zoom on my camera and got nice pictures. When the Lion got up out of the grass, walked away then came back, it kept roaring. I got that on video and it was the thrill of a lifetime.
