Lyrics of song: Savannah
Savannah born in darkness
Confined by wire cages
Is offered a chance of freedom
By a tigress and her cubs
Freedom calls
And she doesn’t speak the language
But she suckles from her mother
Young lives emerging
Like the flowers in the spring
Emerging lives
And she stands atop the mountain
She roars like rolling thunder
Vibrates like fire
And it echoes down the canyon
I am here
Savannah is a hunter
Fast and strong and deadly
And she runs the prey down
To the waiting, patient tigress
Invisible
Silent in the shadow
Light and dark are merging
Coiled like a cobra
Explosive in her power
How she has
Speed and strength are merging
Claws are ripping, gripping
Teeth are seeking pressure
And the prey sinks down
It is over
Stands atop the mountain
Roars like rolling thunder
Vibrates like leopard fire
And it echoes down the canyon
I am here
Savannah is an auntie
To tiger cubs emerging
And she carries them so gently
In jaws of strength and power
She carries them
And she guards them in the morning
In the caves at midnight
A guardian and a hunter
A teacher and provider all in one
All in one
Thunder clouds are darkening
Flooded rain like furry
Tigers fleeing, swimming
Running, hurting, injured
Chaos reigns
Savannah darted falling
Seatao kills her swiftly
Sorrow overflowing
And the canyon stands empty
It is empty
No longer stands atop the mountain
Roars like rolling thunder
….
Savannah is gone
And the canyon stands empty
Lyrics: John Varty

    • I think mothers are more heroic than people fighting in military or police since mothers are more likely to do an act of heroism that does not involve the taking of human life whereas people in government mainly kill others in order to be heroic. I don't believe that a person is heroic if he or she has to kill someone in order to become a hero. I even believe there are two kinds of heroes, heroes of a government which are people who mainly kill on order of their government and the heroes of the people which are people who do not become heroes because the killed other people but they mainly help people and only kill when they have no alternative way of stopping evil doers.

    • @@jedi3779 I not being unrealistic and if you would look at what the u.s. government does and realized what leads governments to fall then you would know why someone in the police force or military cannot be heroes of their own citizens by stopping chaos. But let me tell you the reason so you don't have to figure it out. When a country turns on it's people the soldiers and police forces turn on the people also. And a government fails because the police forces and military forces of that government fail to control the citizens within the country that that government controls. The u.s. Is already on a path to it's elimination. Being a poor citizen in the u.s., I have seen reasons why people are stealing plants from gardens in Texas in order to make money. And it all comes back to the fact that the leaders in government don't care about their poor class. In San Antonio a person can barely live off of 700 dollars a month but that is what some people get each month on social security. Not to mention that the Obama phone was the most ludicrous idea that the u.s. government ever came up with and it shows how logically weak they are. There is a reason why people use Google maps on a phone and that if you are a poor person you are less likely to be more proactive in getting friends because you don't want your stuff getting stolen. And being a poor person, in order to have fun you either buy a t.v. if the place you life at offers free cable or you play games on a phone that uses the cheapest phone plan but that the phone plan would have the cheapest internet. Being a poor person I understand that a poor person would go farther than a middle class person just to have something even when it impacts his or her health. And being poor is terrible but even a lot more terrible now since the prices of food went up in store.

      @RoxasKnight@RoxasKnight2 жыл бұрын
    • @@jedi3779 and let me tell you that because I am a poor person and am going to be a poor person forever, if I saw and heard that the u.s. government instituted a law that would inprison all poor u.s. citizens and the police and military were enforcing that rule, I would go on a murder spree of every u.s.gocernment official and the government officials wives and children. Everyone who would be a part of the government would be my enemy. And the u.s. government would have to kill me to stop me from killing them.

  • Just the fact that the lioness spoke up was probably enough to get the tigress to head back. My chickens respond to groundhog warning whistles, both of those respond to squirrel barks, and the whole lot of them respond to bird warning calls. The humans understand them, too.

    • Wild beasts are a lot smarter than people tend to credit them. They are very perceptive and observant because their survival depends on it. So it's no surprise that animals learn to understand the communication of other species, as it hints at their intents and potential danger. If anything, the unparalleled ability to read and interpret the communication of other species was one of the things that let humans become the dominant species of Earth - it's just that most of us never really hone this skill these days. With that said, there's nothing surprising that these two fine she-cats who have spent a lot of time together can understand each other's calls.

      @CyberWar666@CyberWar666 Жыл бұрын
    • @@CyberWar666 exactly! There's nothing surprising at all about those two working together amd communicating well. Your point about our ability to read other animals giving us the ultimate advantage is brilliant! I'd never thought about it, but it makes perfect sense. If nothing else, we wouldn't have been able to domesticate animals without that ability. But it helps us with so much more. We can find food by seeing what some animals eat. We can navigate by following migrating animals, and even follow them to undiscovered lands. We've forgotten how to listen to nature, and we're paying for it

      @nobody8328@nobody8328 Жыл бұрын
    • @@nobody8328 I wouldn't go as far as to say we've "forgotten" it. It's just an innate talent than every human has, even if most of us no longer hone it to its peak sharpness because our survival no longer depends on it. You'd be surprised how perceptive and ingenious will even the laziest urbanite human become after just a few missed meals. As a species, we have barely two hundred years of industrial civilization veneer on us, but once that veneer of technology and sophistication gets taken away by circumstance, we have no problem reverting back to our original animal selves.
