Why the people who recorded him didn't take him away from the pride to get him so help and treatment. They stolen others before.

As soon as his mum realised this little guy was just not gonna give up, she changed her mind. Even lions realise that persistence & determination against the odds, are qualities that you just can't ignore.
No - she saw he was going to die. That b1tch of a mom cat realized she was being that way and changed her ways.
I think when she saw as outside threat crocc she intervened took him to safety let him drink water and suckle and his brother waiting for him than the rest shows an acceptance how beautiful such animals can feel love some lost hurt scared confused if i was recording this though I would have taken the cub nurse him to health an try to reintroduce him to his family if that failed id send him to a sanctuary I wouldn't be able to not only see him suffer in pain but to be rejected from all he knows I cried 😢

I think the mother noticed his determination and will and decided he wasn’t as weak as she thought he was. Little guy never gave up.

Siblings sometimes love eachother more than parents can. One was always looking out for him from the start.
I've followed this little feller. The last update on the misfit was in his teens. These animals are remarkable. They have real life stories like we do. He will be a powerful pride male.

This was literally the 1st wildlife documentary I actually shed legit tears for . Especially the ending when the family accepted him again . I'm so proud of that little guy hes gonna grow up to be a Legendary Loin . Never give up no matter how tough things get .

This is a great example of one animal making a difference. Because his brother waited, the Pride waited. His brother might have saved his life.

When he started walking sideways I was done! I cried but I am so relieved to know that his little brother waiting for him. And his mama helped him. My tears have dried up and I'm happy. He will grow up to be a proud Lion King.

Some stories leave you numb and this is one. To see a little baby make multiple attempt to feed and be accepted only to be brutally rejected is so heart shattering. It also breakes stereotypes that parents esp moms always love. The final act gives you goosebumbs and you feel like kissing the brother who stopped first.

@@jonathanntulume9298 That's just how wild animals are. They have to make decisions to benefit the chance of any of their offspring surviving, because most do not. If say they were low on milk and could only feed one cub they'd have to make a terrible decision or all of them would die. They don't have doctors after all so if something is wrong with one cub they don't want it to infect the rest, because it's about survival to keep the rest of their litter healthy. Resources are not infinite in the wild, and all wild animals and even many domestic animals will do the same thing, at least the mother didn't kill/eat the cub. It's instinct. However, if this was a human I'd get it, but as it is not a human we cannot place on animal's human emotions, cognitive abilities, and structures/beliefs. I get upset when a male lion takes over a pride because of what happens to the cubs, but as that is their nature I don't get mad at the lion.

He had an infection, so she had to reject him, so he won’t harm the others. When he healed, everything was back to normal.
@@swaggyp2159 yeah , but in the beginning they never waited for him or seemed to care about him , not even his siblings , it was as if he was already dead , but at the end all of them waited for him , I think it was more than just an infection coming and going away .

The mother lion had no choice but to leave the cub are he could risk putting everyone in danger and that goes with all wild animals who are in constant fight or flight. It’s really sad though but it’s just how things are. Almost wired in them
My heart was sad and heavy at the poor little fellow being abandoned by his mother. But when one of the cubs turned to wait for him, then the rest of the pride, I just got all choked up. So happy for the little fighter.

To see this little baby get so rejected and alone, and trying to nurse and being left....I’ve been bawling my eyes out. So glad and happy the story turned out well for him. It was hard to watch, plus I’ve been really needing a good cry anyway. 🕉💕

In countries like India and China, parents abandon their daughters because sons are considered to be more valuable. Even in ancient Greece, disabled children were thrown away if they were born with disabilities.

Hearing his little cries and calls is always so heartbreaking to hear every time. I’ve been following the Nsefu pride and little misfit for swhile and i tear up every time 😂 although misfit isn’t so little anymore. Such a strong little dude, and such a warrior. He rightfully earned his place in the pride.

Every child deserves a mother but not every mother deserves a child
The lioness made that decision based on the ecosystem of existence; the male lions should be seen as hope for the future and yet her young lion was born disabled so he started from a disadvantaged position because all the same he can easily die or get killed when he's disabled. Thanks to God, the guy survived.
Felt like thousands darts 🎯pierced into my heart by seeing that poor cub abandoned by his family. Hope he has grown stronger and is leading a majestic life.
This story just illustrates how wrong it is to just consider (and treat) our fellow mammals as "just animals". Their lives, thoughts, emotions, and their stories are just as real and complex as ours. Even though they don't have the cognitive capacity that we do; i feel like we underestimate them in so many ways. They deserve our respect.

Yesterday as I watched this particular episode, I broke down sobbing. So much pain in the world especially right now and this little lion cub was so alone and rejected, it was just heartbreaking. It is a promising end to his story so far and I hope and pray he is able to grow up and become a great lion.
He’s grown. It’s an old documentary from a few years ago called Africa’s Hunters on Amazon Prime. This KZheadr passes off the content as his own and sometimes reports my comments when I mention it

This one got to me, esp. the beginning of Misfit's life, probably because I have some evil people in my life right now and I have a deep caring for cats...small domesticated kinds and the great cats of our world. Frankly, I was freaking out when the "teenager" cats were picking on Misfit and bullying him...I thought the little guy was going to get hurt bad. He was a tenacious little cuss alright, thank God. As an aside, I thought this channel was a documentary channel not necessarily a channel that posts others' documentaries without giving credit where credit is due. Dang, I wish they'd just give credit. I don't watch channels that take credit for what is not their originally. Can't get away from it, I guess. Thx again.

I think maybe since animal life is the survival of the fittest, runts get tests like this. Hence at the end the family ended up accepting him because he passed the tests. Life is harsh, but they have to do this in their "dog eat dog" world.

I used to root for the antelope and wildebeests , now I urge the lions and tigers , “ get them “ . After all there are so many more of the zebra and wildebeests , they can stand to loose a few , whereas the big cat population is so much less.

I found a kitten like that with mobility problems. I fed him alot and took care of her for a week until I woke up one day to check on her and she had passed in the night. I miss her so much.

Mom saw that his determination to overcome adversity means that he's a fighter and worthy of nurturing. It may seem cruel, but wild animals have to make tough choices to survive because they have to work for everything they have and resources are limited.

Misfit is a legendary cub and has the ability , will power, determination and never say die attitude will be making him the king some day . Thanks to his brother who noticed him back and attracted the pride which proved turning point for misfit the great warrior . I will like to watch and follow him .

It’s heartbreaking to see this runt of the litter being rejected. Sometimes, a lioness will know it is not worth her time and effort to care for a sickly cub. Animals sometimes know things we don’t. Personally, I wished I could scoop this little guy up and give him a bottle and take him to the vet for medical treatment. It’s hard to watch animals suffer.

I think the mother's mommy instinct kicked in when he was in danger of falling into the water and being eaten by the croc. I think that saved him. It triggered her maternal side and she couldn't resist saving him. Awwwe❤

@@shellos8 LOL I know, I watched the video of him becoming a young lion (i guess teenager for them). I know its the way of the wild to sort of push the weaker young ones out so the others thrive, but as a human, I have to cheer on the littlest one and he is so damned adorable, so to see him shut out like that actually hurt me LOL. But thank you for letting me know he makes it. I have 3 babies that own me. They mean everything to me. My youngest is a muted calico and she knows she can do ANYTHING she wants to, spoiled to the bone.

I felt so bad for this little guy, it brought sadness to me. I am glad he's finally accepted!
For anyone there that’s losing hope, learn from this little guy, he never gave up even when his body was failing him. God will give us second chances we just got to hang in there… I was literally reduced to tears watching this… it’s a short clip but thought me a lot .

I was crying the whole time watching this. This is such a powerful story. It's truly incredible.
Funny enough this is a perfect depiction of my life ever since I was a child, I was treated with the exact same manner this mother lioness and the aunt treated the cub, my family treated me the same, my siblings, my peers, and most of whom I've met throughout my life, just because I was "mentally" and somewhat "physically" different, most of my family is gone now, which makes it worse for me, I lived all my life almost abandoned although among a pride, a pride that I couldn't keep up with, even in life I couldn't keep up, but I haven't gave up, I'm still trying and will keep on trying till the last day of my life to reach my goals and succeed in life.
