I don't make fake restorations. I do not create an artificial patina and do not glue rust. I have all the items in the original form in which they were found.
Well, this is not a restoration either. A real restorer wouldn't have sandblasted the metal parts nor use cold blueing solution and, last but not least, use epoxy to put it together. If there was any residue value in this object it's gone forever. Restoration is not renewing

И чему лайк? Чувак испортил ножны. Взял и шов сделал снаружи. Посмотрите начало видео где шов был и в конце что стало. Если этот штык одеть на жабу, то есть на подвес то шов на ножнах станет снаружи а не с тыла)))

I think he has done better. Didn't address the ding in the throat and should have filled the staple holes and used existing staples rather than using epoxy. Also epoxy squeeze out still evident around the throat.
