  • I went to the cinema yesterday to watch Dune 2,we all had started seeing the movie then the cinemas Air-conditioning broke down and the entire cinema became so hot, the employees came over to apologise and urge us to see another movie in their other cinema as they couldn't give a refund, the movie they made us all see was madame web,the hurt I felt and still feel is unquantifiable

  • and there is large group of women who are saying movie failed because large portion of men hate women in lead role as men are misogynistic and don't want women to succeed. I don't get it, why these women always find men to blame for all the issues and never be grateful or choose to be ignorant towards all the good bits men do.   • The thing is, marvel can't say no to sony making these movies as it is sony who owns the spider-man live action license, and the only reason they make these movies is so that they can keep the spider-man license as the license require sony to make spider-man movies every couple of years. And this movies just scream directionless and throwing random shit hoping it works, Sony initially wanted Garfield to be the main Spider-Man in its Spider-Man Universe, beginning with Madame Web. However, those plans were later scrapped and Tom Holland's Spider-Man was chosen as the movie's Wall-Crawler. But later on all mentions of either Spider-Man were then removed during reshoots after Sony realized that the timelines didn't add up for either version to appear. And i feel like sony in some way, fooled some of these actor and actresses into playing in their movies by giving them vague description as in these movies are part of the MCU which is why Dakota Johnson fired her agent after the initial trailer of Madame web were released. These universe just screams incompetence, unless they get their shit together these movies are gonna flop

    • To add to this, and what CL said about a certain percentage of the audience not able to tell that these Sony Marvel movies are not MCU movies... Matt Smith (11th Doctor) in Morbius was supposedly lead to believe, at least initially, that he was doing an MCU movie then as well.

  • _Kills a government agent and nothing happens._ 7:20 I hear you. I hope you understand why I felt the same way about No Way Home, i mean almost all of it. Goblin shows up in New York - throws a bomb on to the street - blows up cars. Sets off huge fireball - in - New York City. (I’m sure no one was hurt because…….Disney + Sony = bullshit amusement park ride movie where nothing is at stake just like Scorsese said) He’s a psychopath and a terrorist that EVERYONE is looking for. Nooope….. Parker sets him free, betray’s Dr. Strange, allows him to get his BOMBS back and then he proceeds to kill Aunt May. (!!!!) That is more offensively stupid than anything you just described in this film Canadian Lad. And if I were the writers of Madame Web, (a film I haven’t and won’t see) I’d call out the hypocrisy. So many fans will accept any narrative no matter how badly written and bullshit besotted it is, as long as you give them fan service for in this case Tobie and Andrew and all their favorites from their childhood. Madame Web simply wasn’t able to use Nostalgia to cover the stink of the bad writing….as No Way Home did.p

  • The main writers for Madame Web are known for writing Madame Web, Morbius (as you mentioned), and Gods of Egypt. All 3 of these movies' rotten tomatoes scores sum to 42%. How can you create garbage over and over and still be a part of big time productions 😂
