3:22 Fun fact: PBT does shine too. I experienced it first hand with the viper mini. I thought I was glad it's not cheap plastic but after only 3 mos. of daily use the viper mini "coating" did shine and became slippery on where I grip it, on the main buttons and mostly on the sides.

I really love the logitech m100 shape and especially the flat sides the katar pro xt seems to be the closest in term of similarities idk if I should give it a try though
I’d recommend trying out the Logitech G203/G305 or Razer Orochi V2, they have a similar shape in terms of size but are more egg shaped which makes it more comfy imo
@@water5690 Tried the g203 and the shape was pretty awkward to me the sides are not flat enough.. now I found 2 mouses the Fantech xd7 (slightly bigger orochi with better spec) and the Pulsefire Haste (flat sides and a hump in the middle, thats what i was seeking for). Man i don't know what to buy the Viper Mini or Katar Pro XT? The XT is smaler length wise then the Viper which is better for my hand size of 5.9 inches length and 3.7 inches width. However, I fear the viper is close to the same shape as my old mouse the Endgame XM1 which was a big mouse for my small hands. I have seem a lot of people saying the Viper is better and vice versa.......UGH The viper is more expensive though which comes to $47.78 , and the Katar Pro XT comes to $41.99.

How much was that artisan?
Been using their M65 pro for probably around 4 years now and even the scroll wheel holds up. Can't say that about any razer or steelseries I owned before, so honestly not sure where the hate comes from. I'm getting older and the M65 is just too heavy for my withering arm, so I'm shopping around for light stuff. Will probably pass on this one either way, nice video.
U should try this mouse, it's not as bad as these m.orons say it is, also for the price it's amazing build quality and fairly light. I play better with this mouse than the G pro wireless. This guy is sooooo subjective and trashes anything he doesn't like. I got this on sale for like $20 and its a keeper. For me low end Logitech mice are just trash like the g203. I don't know how this guy compares it to katar pro XT.
@@acezealot6767 it's *all* just preference He's coming from the G203, it was his first mouse. Of course he's going to shit on the worse features of a Corsair mouse that looks like but isn't the G203. Just don't see where the hate is coming from, he makes very good points about the mouse. I'd say the only thing that is worth considering about the Corsair mouse is that is lighter. It's not like the G203 is a brick compared to the Katar, and the shape would definitely matter way more in this scenario.
@@spxctreofficial sorry for the saltiness but I have tried alot of Logitech mice from first hand experience especially from the g203, g305, g403, g502 and g pro wireless. I've tried them all. Logitech uses cheap 20m omrons which have double clicking issues, unfortunately I had the double click issue after about 10 months. It's really annoying when u pay alot of money at the time $130+ for a mouse and that happens. As for the other logi mice, the buttons felt kinda stiff and not as nice as other brands and g502 is wayyy too heavy so ended up returning it. Anyways, now it's 2021 and there are so many good wireless options out there.

I have one and it is excellent. aside from the textured sides which rubs my skin wrong, I enjoy playing with it a lot.
I bought one for myself a couple months ago and i really liked it. Wasn't sure about it at first but it really grew on me. Gave it to a family member because i wanted to buy them a mouse and they said that one. So i just gave them mine and i bought a G102(203) Lightsync for myself. Imo both are excellent budget options and you can't go wrong with either.

I don’t hate corsairs icue. Kind of annoying that it runs a bunch of random shit. I think the control is pretty good though, you can change the X and Y dpi (does anyone else have that?), I actually like it because I can’t pulldown enough in palm at my sens so I raise my Y dpi. Some things that they should fix, the polling rate can’t be bound to a profile, wish I could just swap out the dpi switch for a polling rate switch. Also, the profile and hardware profile is confusing at first. If you plan to not have the software running you have to make changes to the hardware profile, but you can’t test the changes out since it swaps to the software profile when you are in the software, so you have to copy all changes to both profiles.

I love the G Pro Hero and the 203. Nothing really comes close to that shape/weight/stock feet combo for me. Does this mouse feel similar in the hand or quite different?

Dude the katar pro xt has better sensor, better shape ( personal taste) , better cable, better buttons...and bro "original" mercury g203 has TEFLON skates too. Pro xt it is indeed a far better mouse. I had a viper mini and had horrible post travel on right click, it has far worse construction quality, worse sensor, and they charge 15 dollars more. You just hating cause of the brand, you should call these videos "personal opinion" not reviews.

@@OmarLopez-tw1te 3325 vs 3391 or something like that. Basically a better sensor that gets tuned a little better. Better cable or no cable at all is an added plus. But the main difference is the sensor. I’ve gone through 5 3325 sensors on mice and all of them have massive deviation from my experience.

Unmodded yes, u need special batteries (lithium ion aaa) to make it half decent and even then I still prefer a 203

Does it have difficulty keeping a constant, consistent rate of tracking, like the G203? Does it inexplicably start "double clicking", like the G203/Most Logitech mice in general? How long until the sensor starts to display signs of "drift", like the G203/most Logitech mice in general? I don't use/care for Corsair, but I DO have a bone to pick with Logitech, and their overall lousy quality
