  • Phenomenal & most extraordinary wildlife viewing right on the doorstep of 𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪𝓜𝓪𝓵𝓪 𝓡𝓪𝓽𝓽𝓻𝓪𝔂'𝓼 𝓒𝓪𝓶𝓹 with two very unique & iconic animals. The wild dogs were ready to go to war again seeing their reflection in the glass😂Very clever animals & highly amusing, BEST sighting!! It is a special place of natural, unspoilt beauty along the banks of the Sand River💘Thank you so much🙌

  • How long have you guys been using the electric fencing set up like that? That’s fascinating. I’ve always seen it set up like a traditional fence.

  • Ohhhh those were some different barriers to keep animals out. I like that design. Granted many can probably jump it but it appears they won't get tangled up if that can't clear it,like a regular standing fence. Edit: ohh. That's an electric fence lol. Yea,that'll keep things out lol

  • Now if you were on foot here they would takeoff running right, or would you be in danger? Yeah I saw coyotes pull the carcass of a cat apart like that about three weeks ago.

    • There’s never been a recorded case of African wild dogs killing a human

      @MalaMalaGameReserve@MalaMalaGameReserve Жыл бұрын
    • African wild dogs seem to be VERY skittish, maybe just too skittish to focus evil instincts on humans. As long as humans don't do something deliberately stupid. Skittish, despite being able to hunt according to intelligent strategy. Coyotes, on the other hand, might stalk children in suburban areas, maybe even adults who are alone, and I saw one video online about a pack of coyotes that stalked a human hunter who fortunately made it some distance back to his truck, or whatever.

    • @@MalaMalaGameReserve Beg to disagree. Not in the wild, but there was a case a few years ago, where a toddler fell into a wild dog encampment in Pittsburg Zoo. It's well documented on KZhead. Don't disagree with your sentiment in general.

      @edrianluyt8735@edrianluyt8735 Жыл бұрын
    • @@edrianluyt8735 I feel like that's different because the zoo fed them by throwing meat in there. Then all of a sudden here comes flying meat and they eat it. They didn't hunt or try to kill the child purposely. It was just a terrible accident because the mom put him up on the railing and the netting catapulted him down when he fell. The dogs would've just thought it was feeding time.

    • @@awright119021 100% agreed. I actually also agree with "MalaMala Game Reserve" that wild dogs will not attack humans. I just wanted to point out that technically, there has been an instance of a human getting killed by wild dogs.

  • What would happen if you approached them like regular dogs and tried to interact with them? Just curious because I heard a story about a woman that did that thinking they were stray dogs and they chomped on her leg for a bit before a local saved her with a stick. Can't be sure that's a true story or not though.
