  • Through tears I watch a video of my beloved beautiful Blondie side by side with his brother Queens and all14 of the cubs/subs. This brought such pride for me to see his legacy. I know his fathers and grandfathers met him with the same Pride. Thank you Mala Mala I will treasure this one . ❤

  • For the Lions! For rangers, vets, safari shop owners, and the authorities that regulate Africa's wildlife: Due to the critical conservation situation that lions are in, there should be more forceful actions to avoid problems, and also to fix these problems. "Do not interfere"... Stupidity! If you don't interfere, they will increasingly decrease in the wild. There's no way not to interfere. How can there be any expectation of saving lions from extinction, when when they need it, no one can act because it was not a human cause? It's an absurd ambiguity! There's no way not to interfere! The chain effect is already doing more and more damage. It is necessary to stop these problems. And if the man (who has all the necessary resources) does not interfere, who will? Today is the time! Tomorrow is uncertain. We currently have technology, we know about genetics, reproduction, eating habits of various animals. We have the internet to spread the word and join forces, and volunteers always show up! More and more people are becoming aware of animal life. And what do some people who are closest to you do? Don't interfere... Joke! It's funny that these people make money from safaris, and it's precisely the lions that generate the most profits. And they don't interfere... When the last wild lion disappears, they'll be sorry they didn't interfere sooner. Interfering is HELPING! Does it cost to help? Is it wrong to help? It's primitive, stupid and unbelievable that thought. I hope they don't let the situation get worse so they can take action. If the situation got worse, obviously they would interfere. It would be the existence of the lions at stake. And why not act now, while it's reasonable? Is it necessary to wait for chaos? I hope those people "responsible" for these policies will have access to what I'm writing, and open their minds. Or that someone who knows them take my words to them.

  • Tragic. Blondie looked magnificent through 2020, maybe. This video might be still from 2020, but what is already visible is deterioration in the hip bones, joints on the back left side. This is also in the Sizinani lineage through the Nharu pride. The Nharus should be doing better by now, hopefully it won't come out again. Blondie took some beatings in 2021 that wouldn't have helped anything, of course.

    • This is recent, look at the cubs

      @zone_Magazine_reporter@zone_Magazine_reporter Жыл бұрын
    • @@zone_Magazine_reporter I didn't count the cubs before. There seems to be seven and a few of the subadults, so that would mean much newer video than 2020, of course. The "cubs" are the 7 cubs from the "breakaway group," but they are not always broken away, like what happened with the Talamati pride. Lionesses don't always trust subs and older sub-cubs around much smaller ones.🤔But the points I made were otherwise valid. Blondie's condition went up and down, even during the downward-to-death period, 2021 until he finally died. There was a video of him and Mohawk chasing around with the Torchwood pride a few months back, and he looked much better than more lately.

    • @@zone_Magazine_reporter It's an interesting situation. It would probably be best for "dm," since his daughters/nieces will probably want to mate before too much longer--PCs, Birminghams, Tumbela in the west. His sons/nephews could decide to abandon him, eventually, and start a "nomadic period" without him.
