Aww thank you!💜
Love the tutorial! I have the neon Easy Marbles and they really clumped up. I’ll have to try them again.
Thank you!! Shake them up like crazy lol
These are cute!!!!
Thank you!!
I agree with you - but I have a hard time with the spay paint method lol - both are great
Thank you 💜
I’m set up in my garage about to hydro dip tomorrow. Did you seal your white paint before you dipped?
Love these! I like the spray paint one better because it’s more vibrant I thought the neon would pop more but, at least it’s not to “in your face” neons 😄
Thank you!! A lot of the other colors pop so bright, I’m not sure what happened here lol!!
@@CourtneysCustoms Maybe the way it got mixed or that batch in particular? (:
What do you do with the leftover water in the bucket? I dont want to create a paint mess in the backyard
Glad to see your feeling better. You make hydro dipping look so easy, hopefully I’ll be brave enough to try. 💜 P.S. Looking forward to your next episode on your“Short Time True Crime” channel. 😊🇨🇦
Aww thank you so much!! And I’m actually editing the true crime video now💜
beautiful cups. I just love your videos. where do you get the gold vinyl? thanks
Thank you! I got it from Amazon like forever ago lol!!
Hi..what temperature should the water be? If it’s cold should I let it sit in the room until it’s room temperature or use warm or hot water?
I think I like the spray paint better. But both are beautiful! Do seal the spray paint one too before epoxy?
Thank you! Nope, no sealing before epoxy for the spray paint one
Super cute!!! Do you remember the color of paint you used?
Thank you! Which cup?
I love watching your videos! This might be a dumb question, but I did try to do a hydro dip cup today with spray paint. I got a lot of clumps, is there a trick to not getting so many clumps? Thanks for what you do!! All your videos are very helpful with me getting started into making tumblers. I am just trying to Widing my crafting.
Aww thank you so much!! Never a dumb question by the way!! And I’ve noticed if my water is too cold I’ll get more clumps!
@@CourtneysCustoms Thank you so much!!! You are simply amazing! My husband is actually working on getting me a building for my crafting. So excited. I make candles and soaps. Kind of out growing my section in the house!
For the water is it just plain or prep the water before adding the paint? Beautiful tumblers.
Just plain hose water
@@CourtneysCustoms Thank you
Can I just use a white tumbler original?
Hey Courtney! Your videos are awesome. I tried hydro dipping for the 1st time today with spray paints and it was a TOTAL fail. I did it twice. Any tips? Did you fail your first try? Thank you for any light you can shed.
Thank you! I always tell people to work FAST and use room temp water
What is the steps of doing the base? Do you just spray paint it and that's it?
They are too cute.
Thank you 💜
I am curious why the cup was so light with the marble paint/ink. Can you get more vibrant colors?
You definitely can! I have a video on here where I made a hydro dip beach tumbler with the marble inks and it’s super bright!
Really cool.. what temp is your water..
Thank you! It’s about room temp
thanks for the video i tried the 2nd with acrylic paint and it all sank to the bottom are you using acrylic paint?
No I’m using Maribu easy marbles
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you
with the tumbler u used the spray paint with, can u just put apoxy on it?
Yes
Can you sublimate on a tumbler after hydrodip?
No
Hi do you apply epoxy
Where do you get the tray to lay the mug in to put the design on
Bama Cups. I have their link in the video description with a discount code 💜
K so i used maribu and i cant for the life of me get it to work. Water temp from 64 to 73. The paint hardened right away evrry time 😢
Hi I know this is late but I have a question, I’m not sure what is going on with hydro dipping. First time I tried it, it came out pretty good but now it will not work. I even purchased new rustoleum spray paint but when I put the stick on to mix it all the paint grabs on top the stick. I also tried marubu paints and no luck. Any suggestions?
Make sure your water is room temp and work fast. If you wait too long your paints will settle on top of the water and stick to whatever you’re stirring it with
@@CourtneysCustoms thank you so much for responding, I love that about you. You are always willing to help. I will try that, thanks again.
I love both designs 😍 but I think the Marabou really petered out with the vibrancy..... I really thought you would have gotten better color. They were more like pastel and not neon...... 💜💜💜
Yeah they ended up not being as vibrant as I wanted. I do have to say it looks a little better in person lol
Where did you get the tumbler cradle from
Bama Cups. I believe I have their link in the description 💜
I just started hydro dipping with spray paints but I keep getting paint inside the cup and it will not come out I've scrubed with acetone and it's just terrible. I've actually tossed 2 cups it was so bad.
Oh wow really? I never have any issues getting paint off with pure acetone. I’ve heard of some people using essential oils and they swear it takes paint right off
Does the paint not paint the inside of the cup?
A little. I clean it with acetone and a paper towel
These are cute but folks would be drinking out of a chemical hazard.
Why do you say that?
@@CourtneysCustoms because all of the chemicals that are used to create the finished looked. I am by no means trying to put what you are doing down. From one fellow crafter/artist to a fellow crafter; Your work is beautiful. However, exposure causes cancer the spray paint is just as toxic. I am looking for ways to make beautiful things while helping to save the planet and the health of others. Again it is not a put down towards you. I do understand that we all have to make a living. This is what is trending, I just wish all toxic chemicals could be replaced by something non hazardous in the stores for crafters to use. Best wishes, Char
@@charpk5962 the epoxy is FDA approved. There are tons of people who make these tumblers, we have our health and the health of our customers in mind. But thank you for the concern 💜
Love your video, you had a sanding block in your description. What was it used for?
