Hydro Dipped Glitter Tumbler Tutorial
#HydroDippedTumblerTutorial #GlitterMarbleTumblerTutorial
In this video I will show you how I do a hydro dip technique over a glitter and marble swirl. I love this technique for doing sports team related designs. You could use such a wide variety of colors for this and they tie in so well with the hydrodip overlaid in the end. We did Seahawks colors because we’re big fans! #GOHAWKS

Wow! You did an awesome job. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Thank you so much for the tip about the acetone and alcohol at the end. This will be great because I have never done a hydrodip that I was completely satisfied with. Now I know I can "edit" them!
Woohoo go Seahawks! Washingtonian here too ✋looks great!

This is such a beautiful way to do a hydro dip. Most of the time I think hydro dips are a no but this technique gives a really pretty result and I’m definitely going to have to give it a try. Thanks so much for sharing 💕
I'm so glad you like it! Thank you for watching 😃
Gorgeous
Go HAWKS! Beautiful

The alcohol is really good at removing the overspray and areas like that. Your cup is gorgeous.

Turned out pretty, reminds me of a milky way tumbler 😍😍😍
Hoping this helps me with hydro dip. I have tried to do 2 and decided it wasn’t my thing. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to succeed but with so many gorgeous options, I kind of set it down. Thanks for doing this. I’m always inspired
I love it!! I am from Chehalis, WA so this one was extra great!! Thanks!!

Revealing the glitter really makes it pop and a much prettier cup.
Yes, it does. Thank you Wendy!
Awesome tips to remove some of the Hydrodip paint!! I’m not a huge fan of them either, but this turned out Fantastic after you removed some of the paint!! I have Family in Monroe, WA💚💙 Go Seahawks!!
We were just up in Monroe for camping and racing. That’s awesome! Thank you
Go Hawks!!! Love love love!!! I live in Washington
😃
Turned out awesome - a lot of work but worth it
idk why you think you’re not good at hydro dips. this is beautiful 💚
Thank you 😊
Go Hawks!!!
Love your videos! **Just a funny side-note.. here in Australia, “Let it rip” often means to fart 🤣🤣
Same in America lol 😆 the parallel there definitely isn’t lost on me
Jessica, you never disappoint us. Great c
Im so glad you like it Edith!
I like the cup before and after the dip. Wondering if you could save time/get more of the glitter peaking thru by using the power wash method prior to the dip? As always a beautiful cup and fun technique.♥️
Power wash would be a different look than what I was going for here
I had never seen this done like this & it came out awesome! I have a question: if I painted cups with spray paint & didn’t the way they came out so how or what would I remove the spray paint.
Just wipe it off with acetone and paper towels
Do you recommend gloss or satin finish? Thanks so much for all your tutorials.
Love the small square stand that is holding your cup where could I find something like that?
It comes from the boan and is linked in the description box
Love this cup!! But what caught my eye is your Aztec Acrylic Marker holder in the background. I need this! Where can I get one of those? Have a link for that?
i got it at target, sorry i don't have a link
Beautiful. Was there anything done to the water before dipping the cup. Is it plain water straight from the faucet?
Yes, it is.
Cup looks awesome. Just wondering how you’d put pictures of the kids on a cup but with glitter added?
This video will show you how to do that - Collage Tumbler Tutorial kzhead.info/sun/otp6dbl-fpNqmn0/bejne.html
@@FlynnSistersBoutique That’s awesome. Thank you kindly.
Yes another Seahawks fan lol I live Green lake, I used to go to school with a Josh flynn you wouldn't happen to be related?
No I don’t think so! Thank you 😊
Where do I place an order for your beautiful cups?
Thank you but I don’t sell I just teach
You didn’t have to seal the hydro dip paints before the final coat of epoxy?
No i did not.
Where in Washington... I live in Spokane
Puyallup
I know this video is a year old but I’m hoping you still see this. Just wondering if instead of sanding the rim, wouldn’t tape work? If not why not?
You can tape your top rim if you’d like but I don’t prefer the look of that on my cups
@@FlynnSistersBoutique That’s fair. Was thinking it would save some work but I didn’t consider the ethics of it.
I love a hydro dip- I don’t do very many of them at all but I love the design it gives a cup!!! I’m not a Seahawks fan though 😂😂 but I do love Russell Wilson ❤️❤️
🤣 I'm glad you like this one Nina!
@@FlynnSistersBoutique absolutely ❤️
Complicated but maybe not question here. So I follow your step. I use acrylic paints in my epoxy. I don’t have the cool additives you do. It will look exactly like yours. And I’ll come back hours later and all of my colors are gone and my epoxy is just clear. What am I doing wrong?
Especially when I use the more glitter or shimmer acrylic colors from arteza.
I’m guessing not enough paint?
This came out absolutely beautiful. I’m glad I found your videos and started following you
Thanks so much 😊
