  • One of the best 3 days periods of my entire life, starting from the Saturday 2 days prior. Toonami returned on Saturday night, The Rock beat John Cena at WrestleMania 28 on Sunday night, and UK won the national championship on Monday night. Talk about riding high; I'll never forget that weekend.

    @edwardelric880@edwardelric8803 жыл бұрын
    • same! I was only 12 years old at the time and it was quite the weekend. My dad loved wrestling and UK basketball just as much, if not more than I did, and we got to have the sickest weekend. Beat little brother in the final four Saturday, watched Wrestlemania on Sunday, and the cats win the natty monday!

  • Watching this game, I would have prognosticated AD to be a defensive specialist only in the NBA. This game showed his unique and monstrous blocking ability; as for his offensive game, he usually just followed the offensive flow by passing the ball. It was evident throughout the game, he didn't ask for ISOs or even shooting the open jumper. Hence, he didn't show any remnants during the game of who he is today. It really is amazing what practice and training can do to your game.

    @raphaelromulo8841@raphaelromulo88414 жыл бұрын
    • It’s not practice that transformed his game solely ! He was a point guard in before his growth spurt he already had that type of smooth game on the floor game but he was very unselfish and did what the coach asked him to do run the floor and block shots and he bought in to his role , Terrence Jones was the go to !

    • He had an engine that never stopped. He was a GREAT college player. He was strong enough in the lane to make his own shots and made enough open jumpers to supplement that defense. He was a winner. You can't always judge the game by the stat sheet.

    • Bruh look at the score. It’s defense Cal no longer prioritizes defense when recruiting lol. I don’t blame him. He’s a guards coach and guards don’t get paid to play defense in the NBA anymore

Cal’s big guys get drafted and do well but only Bam, Boogie & AD were getting big money in the pros. But how many all stars and max guys at wing and guard has he coached? He knows what he’s doing lol. That’s why he went with Aaron instead of the portal for a big. Aaron makes it easier to get DJ.
