The GCU guy was by far the best dunker, & all his dunks were great! When they mentioned how casual he was, I was thinking the same exact thing, like this guy did all his dunks so casually with ease, & they were some pretty difficult dunks. Lol

I don’t know what everybody’s talking about. It was a way harder dunk doing the windmill from the free throw than the one they did after and got more points. I think Johnson should’ve at least advance to the next round we got robbed of seeing what he could do.

From what I could tell, this wasn’t even close. Clear W for the GCU guy. Great dunks! Runner up guy did the exact same push off dunk twice in a row, which was already done better by the earlier guy who honey-dipped it.

The theatrics were awesome. I think we typically devalue scores after missed dunks, but nailing a difficult dunk you've missed twice as time is about to expire actually added value to the dunk, IMO.

Pushing off the person you're jumping over should always have a point or 2 deducted

I started disliking dunk contest because the top best doesn't make it and the best sometimes loose to the runner up because of the early points judges leave on the board.

@@tainanking Go look up James White! He was the best freethrow line dunker ever! He was doing windmills & under the leg dunks from the freethrow line. He was in the 2013 NBA Dunk contest, but he was already old by then & didn't do so well.

The camera angles are bad, most of the dunks are weak
Same dunks every darn year and these people acting like its new. Windmill, 360, blah blah blah. I want to see 360 from free throw line or 360 under the leg. Heck one of the best dunk was Jason Richardson pass to the backboard and underneath the leg dunk and that was over 20 years.
