Best pilot ever. Stay safe
This must be so devastating for you as a pilot to see the damage to and the destruction of such beautiful planes. Dimitri must be heartbroken and very angry at the same time.
Wonder why they didn't try to fly the plane out of Ukraine before the war started. I doubt insurance will pay for anything.
@@norberthofer5830 the pilot in his video said that even though the plane was on maintenance, they could finish everything long before the start of the war, germany offered refuge for mrija, but former managers of the company did literal treason, didn't try to save the plane, when the war started they took all the stuff and fled to germany themselves... and now they have been thrown out of company for such bad managment decisions
Poor man had his life's purpose ripped away from him. 😢 Nothing worse than that.
So sad..you can even hear how hard it is for Dmytro Antonov to see all this (his office destroyed, his car gone, all those destroyed and beaten-up aircrafts).. But as I said before: it might have been “just a plane“ but at least now it has become a symbol. And that is why it has to be rebuilt (even if it was inefficient): Russia literally wanted to destroy Ukraine's dream. But hopefully it will rise like a phoenix and become a reminder of both: the war and freedom of Ukraine. Слава Україні
So sad to see such an iconic aircraft in this condition and even more so for Ukraine to have to endure this heinous war!
I'm sad to see the Damage, especially since I'm a retired Aircraft Maintenance Tech., The AN-124 was apparently undergoing a Heavy check at the time and appears from the video that it's still quite repairable. I agree with the pilot about the Mriya that there are many salvageable parts such as the tail section, wings, landing gear, engines; The fusilage forward of the wings suffered most of the damage, fortunately Antonov has another fusilage, The Mirya can fly again, Where there's a will, There's a way. Never give up! Slava Ukraini!
im praying for you prayers from germany,düsseldorf
You did a very good commentary Denys you are a good human. Thank you for this. it is all just pure evil what has been done there. Also, as always, I love how kind and supportive you are of dear Dmytry. I know I say it a lot but He really is a truly precious man and should be absolutely protected at all costs. All the love and support and best wishes to you both. 💔💔💔💙💛
An excellent commentary in English language from Captain Denys. Thankyou Sir. It is all so terribly sad. I hope it will arise again like a Phoenix ! Love to Ukraine and it's wonderful people.
It's still unreal and hard to see so much destruction and chaos. It makes me very sad!

Massive massive heartbreak, I’m so sorry the pride of Ukraine was brought to this.
Much love from Kenya East Africa, praying for you guys
This is devastating to watch. The video he posted yesterday made me cry my eyes out because I could just feel how devastated he was upon seeing the destruction
So sad to see two of my favorite planes destroyed. I caught the AN225 when it came to tel-aviv during the beginning of the pandemic and the AN124 I've seen quite a bit. Stay safe denys!
I cried when saw Mriya was destroyed 😭😔
It's incredible how much damage was done to the AN-124 honestly. So many bullet holes. Hopefully there's enough left for the second 225 to make it possible for another to fly.
I think, this was one of the most interesting videos i have seen about Airplanes. I am also shocked about that damaged and devestation and I can fully understand your Reactions. I also share your opinnions to the future of the An225, it shouldn't matter most whether it's efficient or not, we just need her!
Very sad😞please stay safe denys, all the best to you and your family🙏🇺🇦best regards from germany
Just absolutely heartbreaking to see. Thank you for sharing this with us Denys.
I love pilot job 🥰 I'm 13 years old and I'm girl and I'll be pilot 🥰 and i love your channel 😍❤️
You can study how to fly now, if you haven't already. A few people In Europe and in the US get their private pilot license in their teens.
Hope the 2nd fuselage can be used to rebuilt it. Like you said, efficient or not, it has to be rebuild. After it's all over, maybe a fundraise under all who's interested in aviation could help. Stay safe!
Fantastic video, thank you so much for posting. No comparison to the needless loss of life of course, but that was some aircraft. Hopefully one day she will grace our skies once more.
Glad you enjoyed it!
The devastation is absolutely heartbreaking. My heart goes out to.you Denys & to Mirya's pilot Captain Antonov; the hearbreak in your voices just adds to the tragedy of this enormous loss. My heart is telling me to try to save her..not sure if this is even remotely realistic. As for the other 2 airplanes in the hanger.. the larger one..what kind of animal shoots at an airplane?? This whole thing is nauseating. I am glad that she is repairable. The little airplane is so beautiful.. just love it! I hope it was spared. I am so, so sorry Denys... my heart absolutely aches for you & Captain Antonov. Love & {{{ hugs}}} from Ontario Canada 🇺🇦❤🇨🇦✈😢
Man that's heart breaking. I hope they can rebuild.
My pilot's heart bleeds at this sight. 😢😢 R.I.P Mriya
I missed the an 225 it came here in Vancouver Canada many years ago when I was a little boy I love that airplane it’s so sad to see you like this I know you guys have another body did it survive then you can rebuild it hopefully 🙏 God bless you guys out there be safe I hate the war
This is in my opinion not a war act. This is terror. It is so sad to see all that damage and the sadness in Dmytrys face.
I love your new mic! Sounds better than most professional podcasts!
We want safe and independent Ukraine Love from India
no country is indipendent
This is just so tragic along with everything else! It must be like losing a beloved and iconic friend and living thing to those of you who are pilots and fly these aircraft. I wish I had been able to see Mriya. The beauty of form and grace in the air of that enormous plane was breathtaking. Blessings to you, stay safe, and God be with Ukraine. 💔💛💙
Heartbreaking to see, how much power a dictator can have, without any resistant from the people whom pay his salary...
Привет отлично видео лайк
Thank you for posting. I think Dimitri was very saddened to see Myria.
The Dream will never die.
today about 45 minutes ago I saw one of the few remaining an124 at 9thousand feet its a ginormous and beautiful aircraft
Thank you very much for the informative video sad but was amazing 🙏
Thank you for the upload!!
No problem!
Thanks for the video brother!! I appreciate your translation of the video. I hope you guys can rebuild the Miriya!!! It really is a dream now!!!!!
Thank you Denys for this current information! God bless!

When Antonov want rebuild Miria airplain? 🛩 ✈ ✈️
sorry you re right! very big loss for all of us ( be well!
So sad to see one of humanities greatest inventions get destroyed.😢😢
What a sad sight to see. Many thanks to you & Dimitri for sharing this. So sorry for the loss of a modern marvel. ✈️💙💛🙏
If that AN-124 was undergoing a check similar to the Boeing system, that would be a 'D' Check. A 'C' Check does not usually involved major component removal.
It’s really sad what happens to the AN 225. It was so badly damaged that I think it’s irreparable.
The first airplane is an Antonov 124. It was going through a heavy D check. The 225 is a tragic loss, such an iconic aircraft.
Thank you
Denis, thanks for sharing the video of the remains of AN-225. It was truly an icon of aviation. The 225 could transport cargo that no other aircraft was capable of doing. It’s sad to see such a beautiful aircraft in ruins. The Ukrainian people should be proud of such a marvelous aircraft. My sympathies and thoughts are with the Ukrainian people during these trying times. I hope that the Ukrainian army is able to defeat the Russians and bring an end to this needless war. The Ukrainian people are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay safe my friend!
Very sad ending to two very Iconic aircraft, R.I.P 225. Don’t see why they destroyed the aircraft, when they are non military.
The Ukrainians hit it with artillery trying to clear the VDV out of the airport. Antonov shouldn't have left it there, but it would seem they didn't think it was worth saving.
@@billdewahl7007 you would have thought both aircraft would have been flown out of harms way ahead of the pending conflict, but as you said someone didn’t think of the potential loss or risk. I doubt they didn’t care
@@vettebecker1 I think they weighed the insurance vs the actual condition of the airframe and long term parking costs outside of the country and decided not to fly it out while management left the country. Then they chose to lie to the world (because they'll believe anything coming out of Ukraine) after it was destroyed and said that they couldn't fly it out. The airline made most of it's money with it's -124s anyway and all of those with the exception of one and of course the derelict were flown out.
@@billdewahl7007 That's truly a shame, a great loss to the aviation world.
Well, Ukraine knew the war was coming and they should’ve moved it out of the country. I heard that Ukraine international moved several 737‘s out. I blame the owner of the jet.
They didnt know anything. They got invaded out of the blue without any reason
One day it will be ok it’s so powerful seeing the people of Ukrainian get together and stand together stay strong
This is devastating to see. Never saw either one of those planes in person, but the videos are impressive. So sad to see these amazing planes so destroyed. I hope there can be some restorations done so these planes, or at least the lesser damaged one, so it can fly again.
To me it looks like it could be partially salvaged. It might not be able to fly again but maybe it could be repaired enough to go into a museum? What do you think Denys?
I think that with reparation It could fly again
It looks like the fuselage from the center wing box to the nose has been destroyed. It's possible they could repair using the forward section of the second fuselage or perhaps the entire fuse. I believe the center wing box and wing spars for the second airframe were built too so if they exist they'll be useful to repair the wing roots and center box. I work in the aero industry and I've seen an A320 have its entire nose section replaced after the cockpit was crushed by a ground collision. So I guess it's technically possible but how much is the cost.
Its unbelievable...wow..sad.. good vid...surreal
Stay strong💪
In your next video show the 2nd 225 that is partially built.
Awful to see the senseless death and destruction. From a fellow aviator in the UK, wishing you and all of the Ukraine people solidarity and strength.
So sad to see this devastation of beautiful aircraft. I hope Antonov can rebuild someday soon.
Hello, thanks for sharing these videos of the Antonovs. Do you know what the registration of the An124 was?
No idea
Happy Sunday 🙏🏻⭐🌹🌹
Hi Dennis this video is so so sad please God please stay safe.
My Antonov 22 😭❤️❤️🥺 damn i Love you, Antei so cute ❤️ i Hope the damage will be repaired 🙏🙏❤️ I pray for you my Beauty❤️❤️🙏
Very good video, so upsetting to see Myria destroyed. I hope the second one can be rebuilt!
I've been an aircraft mechanic for the airlines for 18 yrs. I feel your pain. But you need to remember there is another fuselage in storage somewhere. I've seen it on television without wings in some hangar or warehouse. It would be cheaper to cut off the damaged areas and replace with sections of the other airplane than it would to simply build another one. You might not believe it but this airplane will fly again. We mechanics can work miracles.
Thanks for your support ❤️✈️
How will you guys rebuild after all of this destruction? I’m so sad for you guys, but I know you will re-build and you will survive.
Rebuilding the 225 will like a punch in the face to Putin. It's just a plane but it's also a huge sense of pride. Hopefully this and the second one can be finished. Might have to rename her Phoenix. Hugs from Winnipeg in Canada. I hope peace can be found within the Ruzzian people.
i luv ya denys, let's hope bloodimir plutin gets eliminated very soon
ive seen both 124 and 225 when they came to manchester they were just beautiful aircraft to see and now to see them both like this is so very sad and all cause of 1 evil person i really hope they can be brought back even if they are built from new if antonov still have the blueprints for them, i was in tears when i seen the news reports
So sad.😭😭
This one looks mostly intact but it was never completed. The working plane was demolished.
The area is clear by no Russian military but sad moment all around in airport is damage davastated of war invasion its cool relax keep safe all anger of friend family's of UKRAINE but praise god always ur strong and alive thanks for uploading the video officials Pilot Denys✈🇺🇦❤

Everyone forgetting the only mighty Antei? 😭😭😭❤️❤️❤️💔💔
Excellent video Denys, but your microphone make your voice sound a little bit dubbled.
Sorry about that

The Ukrainian people are amazing. The Russians got what they deserve and the Ukrainian armed forces have my upmost respect. The Russians will never be forgiven for the massacre they have caused. The whole country are with you my dear friend. 🇬🇧🏴🇺🇦🙏
you cant use the fusulage because of fire damage, the metal was heated and is weakend now, and might crack if u glue it together into another plane
There's a 2nd fusalage
Its going to take a very long time to find forgiveness for this senseless war.
Yeah that’s it!
Is Dymytro Antonov in family with the Antonov aviation company ? Send him my best regards from a aviation maint.engineer in norway .
This is very sad 😔
Tail looks like is intact still
Saw that plane over my city when it delivered some protective gear from China at the beginning of the pandemic.
RIP antonov an225 :c
What a bummer dude. A whole hellscape of attroceties
Mriya will fly again some day and I would like to help
Im sorry very very much Sr.
That looks like the smaller one the myra has double rear fines on the tail 😳 I'm hoping and praying it not myra
Hi hope your all good but I have a question if the 225 was not destroyed would you have hoped to fly it one day
I like it a lot and would like to fly it one day
Hello, now is fasting month.i hope everything is ok🙏
Maybe engineers can take what they learned about the original 225 and apply some new ideas and engineer a newer better one. Sad to see a true icon turned to rubble. It had it's place in worldwide aviation, and should be continued to amass all the knowledge and resources and build another version 2 of this amazing aircraft.
This cargo is An-124, which is smaller than An 225
Hope to see you and your country safe again captain. I wish we could see you fly again. Much love from turkey 🇹🇷 🇺🇦
Very sad 😢
A piece of kinetic art is probably lost forever. Shame on those who are responsible
Qué triste!
Looks like the AN-124 is reparable. But is it economical business wise to do so? At this point, I don’t know. Unfortunately, the AN-225 is a constructive total loss. I do not know where the 2nd partially completed AN-225 is located. But I can see that one pushed forward and completed to replace the #1 airplane. Maybe it could be significantly updated to improve its performance and fuel efficiency. I believe there remains a place in the aviation market for these two aircraft, even though it’s a small place.
This is the antonov 224 not the 225 wish is almost double the size I hope the 225 is safe
looks bad... but not so bad that it couldn't be fixed imo. it would be a pleasure to see this one flying with my own eyes one day :/
Say safe bro ❤️
safe
