    • Because there is nothing special in the RCF to be compared to M4, it should be compared to 335i or 435i. Would be nice to see a drag between LFA and M4..

    • Lot's of leased Lexus out there. BMW's are not "leased because of reliability". They are leased because people don't keep cars forever these days. That's something that kids have in their heads. The BMW is the more fun to drive, therefore I have the M4 and not the RCF....period. That was the only thing that went into my buying decision. Which car would I rather drive? That was the question. I'm not going to pass up pleasure for some reliability myth that will never come into play.

    • They probably weren't originally planning to add the LFA bit but the RCF was so bad that it might have looked biased or unfair so they through some LFA clips in to try and be help offset how bad the RCF is.

  • 15-20mm lower ride height, 10mm spacers all round, anti-roll bars across the strut towers and rear links, shed some weight and bosh.. RC F would be an amazing car. It's an entry level super sport that is made to be driven daily..or modified. Toyota did this with the GT86 & other performance models as well.

    • @@michaelangelo5783 bigger intake, intercooler & a big cone filter would definitely help. Cat back exhaust would be good enough and keeps it road legal (don't see point in decats unless it's a track car tbh). Tubular manifold would be good as well, but I'd TIG together my own stuff.

    • @@KO-i343 You have no idea what any of those things are do you. RCF is NA stock, but turbo + intercooler would see huge power gains. The wallowiness of the body and frame can be improved with anti-roll bars, adjustable drop links and a strut brace. If you don't know what they are, then you're either retarded, not into cars/modifying cars like I am, or a child.

  • Lexus absolutely knows how to make an LFA-feel again, they've worked at it for about a decade and engineering isn't some magic guesswork it's math and precision, the reason RCF is shit is because of all the constraints put on by the marketing team which they didn't have to deal with when making a one-off limited edition car

  • I love Top Gear but as for the RCF bashing , I think it was uncalled for . Most tests against M4/ RCF result in pretty close times for lap times , and to be quite honest i personally wouldn't be buying an M4 or RCF for trackdays . The RCF will wipe the floor for reliability and interior and exterior wise I much prefer the Lexus looks

  • The LFA is just breath taking and will always remain my dream car, but I don't think the rcF deserved that,there are other people who test drove the rcF and took it on the track and got better results than that. FYI the rcF and m4 is almost equal,and it possesses many better qualities than the m4.

    • Jecky I never said the rcF is faster or it has the best handling I said that others have tested the rcF and managed to track it without getting it in the grass and it has a few qualities that’s are better than the m4 such as the sound interior and looks in my opinion and as far as speed the m4 is not faster by much than the rcF

  • Technically the ppl who made LFA did not make the RC F since it was a different crew and plus long driving in the Lexus is like travelling in a cloud when compared to the M4's thin and uncomfortable seats . So Lexus has made a good, RELIABLE and comfortable car that has power. Hence why the RC F is just better as a CAR than the M4. The End !

  • As much as I like Jeremy, this review was extremely unfair for the RC F. It definitely is more biased towards grand touring than a sports car and I'd take it over the M4 every day because of that V8. Especially at 0:54, even the M4 would understeer with a full lock like that.
