“Driving isn’t cheap” I’d agree if you drive back from European empty while concentrating on how your truck sounds. It’s an interesting business model
The difference between a creator and a proper haulage operator. Everyman and his dog would’ve had a backload.
I think he supplements his income with this channel, that probably why he cares about all these truck mods, but yeah he couldve came back to the UK with another load, more money, and more content
He's openly said he is a content creator 1st, haulage firm 2nd
Any normal company would back load to make it pay but he has all his donations to fund his business, personally i like to fund myself

Tim it was really great to see you out and about doing what you love and including others along the way, even if you get woken from your sleep. I really loved your video and the trip to my country the Netherlands and seeing you enjoy it. Even saw my old workplace in the previous video. Also really cool to see Broshuis trailers. That is a company close to my current job so i get to enjoy all those trailers come by.

Hi if you mod your smoke system with fueling separate from main tank you could colour the smoke blue/red and others AKA Red Arrows!

I drove from 1990 to 1998 in Holland france and Germany over night ferry from sheerness to Vlissingen then delivery to army and RAF bases of audio visual equipment to the bases it was clean then and the motorway services amazing the food was out of this world three course meals I drove to Switzerland in a 7.5 ton truck with Bernie from Rutherford labs , we had a fantastic four days delivery to laboratory in Cerne Love the roads and so clean

Dear Tim, your stearing wheel is probably highly forbidden in Germany. German police forces have given truckes huge fines for having a stearing wheel like that. I know of guys changing the wheel back to original with all the hassle it comes with before they enter Germany. Just want to give you a heads up if you ever go there.

@@sandwichbar8226 yep.. first time I took a wagon over was the early 2000s and I followed another driver to show me the ropes as i was only a young lad! He said on the train “you wait for when we get to the other side and see them all running up and down the tracks”. I honestly didn’t know what he was talking about until we arrived in Calais! The area had been turned into a nasty and dangerous place by that time.. I remember telling friends and family about it when I got home and they just smiled and said they’ve not seen it on the news. The same ones ain’t smiling so much now!!!
Night shift is nice and chill next to no traffic on the roads only issue you’ll get is road closures

Reminded me of when I was a kid in the 70's going with my dad on long distance trips, we always seemed to start at 3am (ish), youre right about the rubbish, welcome to the dustbin of europe, and I NEVER thought i'd say it, but, there are not enough police on the roads! Love to see more of these Euro trips. 👏👍🤙🖖✌🤘👌🍻
I used to run airfreight from Heathrow to Ostend or Schiphol at weekends. I used to love getting off the ferry or train the other side. It's so so much better and you get looked after better as a driver. I used to find the other airfreight drivers from the rival Dutch companies really nice and always helpful over there. I hope you get more jobs over there so that we can see your content. BUT remember, get your paperwork sorted, that's one thing I learnt from Day 1. 🙂🙃🙂

Hi Tim, Just watched the video, Brilliant Agrifac in Steenwijk Steenwijk is about 75kms from where I live, Just a quick Dutch language tip for you, Steen in English is pronounced as Stain Wijk is pronounced as Vike W’s are spoken as V’s So repeat after me Steenwijk Stainvike You’ll never forget it 😂😂 Keep on trucking V8 power 💪

Nice one Tim. Glad you enjoyed Holland. However, one thing that I like UK for is the hills and scenery. Holland is too flat for me. Just got back to Spain from Morocco late last night, with my motorbike. The ferry was 3 hours late, because of the time it took to load and unload the trucks. All the loading and unloading was done from the stern. Hence it took an eternity to reverse all the trucks into position. Even the offloading where they were driving off forwards took about an hour.
As a half dutch/brit who lives in the Netherlands, I agree. The architecture and houses are also much better in the UK than or almost everywhere else in Europe

Well done on your Dutch run Tim. I'm a Dutch hgv driver myself. FYI if you cross the channel on a ferry or train you should put your tacho on ferry mode ! I would hate it if you get done for it.
