Ca fait 20 ans que je me dis que le kite c'est trop dur, merci les gars c'est ce genre de vidéo qui m'a fait sauter le pas à 50 ans, acheter une peak4, progresser 2 fois sur terre, 2 fois au lac, 1 fois à l'océan et oui c'est accessible, cet hiver ce sera l'aboutissement dans ce programme là, montée descente x10, ça va être du rêve en barre grâce à vous je vous aime !!! Et PS : la peak4 c'est trop rassurant niveau sécurité.

Nice, thoose single skins fly in almost no wind aswell! Just came back from a snowkite trip where i for the first time tried a older flysurfer speed 4, on snow its something different and loved the foilkite!

Who needs a lift when you can kite uphill? Lift operators hate Flysurfer :) Seriously, love it. Learning myself at the moment to kitelandboard with old Speed3. Love it to bits. But snowkiting is the ultimate dream to link skiing and kiting.

Shalom, Bro. Really nice video! What is the reason for all of the kite loops? Are you doing that to go faster? (You are really good at them, BTW.)
The loops gives the kite a power spike, this way you can ride up the slopes as the kite pulls you uphill
BTW, I have only kiteboarded on the water, thus far, but I hope to get into snow kiting now that I live in Wisconsin. Why do you use skis instead of a snow board?
Skies are a lot easier when snowkiting. Since you have both legs free and can walk towards and away from the kite.

Hey Weaselpro, the kites are FLYSURFER Kiteboarding PEAK4 kites in size 5.0m, windspeed in the valley 5-10 knots and at the summits around 20-25 knots.

How dangerous is snowkiting? And how do you arrive to those remote places in winter?
It can get very dangerous when the terrain is steep. Be aware of avalanches and crevasses. Also, consider the windspeed increasing heavily with every meter you climb.

Actually it is easier to use skies with snowkiting then snowboard. Skies allow you to have way more freedom setting up and launching the kite. All the best

For sure, it's more dangerous than any spot at the shore. You are right; the wind can change direction when approaching a peak.

You can ski back to your starting location.
What exactly happened at 6:12? Is he using bsafe? Or just pulling on one of the center lines?
He is not ejecting the kite but pulls the safety line in. The effect is similar to the B-Safe System, best used when parking the kite without packing it down. Not sure why Alex isn't using the QR in this situation.

Hey Denisa, it is very windy as you can see in the video. PEAK4 kite sizes used in this video are 4m and 5m. The more wind, the smaller the kite you take.
