SUMMARY:
- It took approximately 5 years to build, and was finished in 1999. The reason it took so long to complete is that it was constructed on an artificial island.
- The hotel is located on a manmade island 280m off Jumeirah Beach
- Burj Al Arab (meaning Tower of the Arabs) is the fourth tallest hotel in the world.
- The Architect designed it to resemble the sail of a ship.
- You’ll be given an option to either ride to the hotel or take a private helicopter.
- The sail-like structure is built on sand. It’s just over 1000 feet tall, with 250 concrete columns. Each of them is approximately 5 feet in diameter, and they dive to 148 feet below sea-levels.
- Walking around, you’ll see flashes of real gold from every direction: In the decorations, on the furniture, even on the chandeliers.
- You’re provided with an exclusive butler for your suite. You won’t have to lift a finger.
- The Royal Suite costs $25,000 per night and almost everything inside is made of gold.
- The suites are so big, it’ll take more than 30 minutes for the butler to show you around.
- If you decide to be more adventurous and book one of the Royal Suites, you’re in for a big shock. Each of the suites are approximately 8,400 square feet, and they cover the whole floor.
- In order to make sure that you get top-quality sleep, the hotel does something extravagant: they present you with 17 varieties of pillows to pick from.
- For lunch, you’re taken to the 27th floor - The restaurants is called “Al Muntaha” which means “The highest”. The windows start from the floor, and stretch all the way up to the ceiling.
- At dinner, you can book a table at the Al Mahara, which translates to Oyster Shell. You’ll enter the dining room through a golden, shell-shaped corridor.
- Near the restaurant, there are also a few private rooms with their own aquariums inside. They have gold shells hanging from the ceiling with special lighting.
- Recently, the most luxurious bar in the world opened in the hotel, and it’s called Gold on 27. It offers unique drinks, and the trained bar tenders keep their recipes secret.

takes them a total of 5 years to build a whole island and building but here it takes 10 years to finish a damn road
They also built the ocean.
Indi
The also have slaves building it and dying by dozens...
@@juantrosino not really lol they just have the equipment and resources. the reason why some countries takes longer to build stuff is due to the resources getting pocketed by the corrupt officials.
@@juantrosino true :) that’s why I don’t get it, when people support Dubai etc.
If you are reading this George then here’s a suggestion. Go to the Bahamas next then go to Nassau then go to the Royal hotel. While yes, the rooms may not be that luxurious or spectacular the majority of the time you won’t even be in the rooms because you could spend your whole vacation outside. Also if you pay for it the hotel can get you a hands on experience with turtles, dolphins, sea lion, and heck even snorkeling with stingrays and they have a lagoon and beaches where a wide variety of fish and other sea life live. And don’t even get me started with how many animals live there because the hotel has an indoor aquarium called the “Dig” where you can also snorkel in. And their is plenty more fun and entertaining things to do there so I highly recommend that you go there.
I miss The old Coralfish12g videos😢
i’m loving these videos! i’ve been a 12g for years and im so excited for everything you’re now able to do!
George, your video was truly an awe-inspiring journey into the luxurious world of Dubai's iconic Burj Al Arab. The attention to detail and the unique experiences offered truly left me in awe. From the world's tallest atrium to the Hermes bubble bath, every moment was truly mesmerizing. You are a master at capturing the essence of luxury and showcasing it in a way that leaves a lasting impression. Keep up the incredible work and keep inspiring us all to live our lives to the fullest! 👍
Been really loving this style of videos lately! I love seeing these kinds of things!
This video is very interesting. I hope you enjoy your time in Dubai
Another fabulous tour of the most incredible aquariums money can buy, and it's so extra special to have George as our tour guide. Thank you George, hope you are enjoying yourself while learning and growing your business.
well that happens when nearly every industry in Dubai runs on slave labor.
And that is a serious problem for sure, however George is there for an entirely different reason, and that was to appreciate what amazing aquariums can be built and what he can learn from them. I don't see any form of self righteousness, frankly anything lacking in his sensitivity as a human being, so let George enjoy this experience, he certainly has earned it. Cheers
@@bkm2797 I doubt it , he is there government sponsored likely. With a handler that set up every visit. I know a few youtubers that turned down things like this before Qatar and Saudi do this once in a while to raise there image.
Maybe so, but even if that is the case George has worked so hard since he was a boy in the world of aquatic life and how to bring it to the people. This must have been a dream of his to one day see the best of what is possible, he is causing no harm. On the other hand, people who are coming into this space to work and get paid a decent wage which isn't being paid, should be demanding they're countries leadership do something about it. Maybe you should contact these governments that would allow this to happen to their own, that would be much more beneficial don't you think? Try and find out what exactly are they doing about it, as in are they warning their people not to go, and if they do, it's at their own risk? Are there attorneys willing to step up for those who can't stand up for themselves. Lots of information needs to be gathered so we know who and what is actually being done about it.
Such a beautiful project, the building is gorgeous, but I love that they've fostered more natural abundance in the process, and conservation is woven in to the endeavor. That spot it was built used to be just a plain sandy zone, now billions of creatures are thriving & growing out from that point. Bravo! 🐢
My Chicago Brother You are One Fortunate Man To Be able to Travel and Visit all of these Amazing Aquarium Site's. This Video was Awesome. Keep on Aspiring Us In Doing What You Do So Very Well.
The hotel, access to it, it’s location and everything in it including the aquariums, looks like something out of a sci-fi movie 🎥 but it sure is stunningly beautiful. 👏👍
miss the the coralfish12g tag but its fine
Watching your videos inspire me to get my own aquarium. Love to see what you visit next
even with all that gold, the interior design of the hotel look so outdated and matronly 😅, the aquarium are cool though
Just Beautiful 😍. Love the aquariums! What a wonderful place. Just peaceful ✌️ 😌
I miss coralfish12g videos, still support though 😢
yeah some of these are becoming repetitive but still interesting
@@ashirrizvi5356 yes i agree

@@Asce69 it’s sad to me because i been watching for awhileee, all I remember is him setting up all these new tanks and getting fish especially that huge pond in his parents basement. And then he sold most of his fish and animals and stuff to travel and $$. I could never, so it’s hard for me to understand 🥴
@@racksofish same bro, like animals are our companions and to sell them just to travel and shit why get them in the first place
Iconic, amazingly beautiful video
Wow it’s amazing that this giant establishment actually cares so much about their turtle rehabilitation program!
What a beautiful hotel and wow those are some nice aquarium's
Pretty underwhelming for 25k a night. The turtle swimming to Thailand was the most interesting part of the video.
this is so dope!
Verified with one like and no comments I'll fix that.
Seeing the room the only thought was "wow how gaudy" . It is how I imagine cousin Eddie (from national lampoons) would decorate as a billionaire...
There is nothing about that room that is appealing to me other than the Gaudy novelty of it...
Same
I love your vids
Amazing 😮
Wow. This place are very nice.. my deam City
I miss the days were you used to show us aquariums not royal room and toilets that opens alone 😅
Like the last 10 episodes?
you should visit the sharjah animal market, it has all kinds of aquariums
Thanks George
Great video Friend.
So good
beautiful video! Please do 4k video
Highest level guest it’s seen so far in my opinion!
Hay George.... 😊 Nice to meet you all 😊
This is the way to have such a high brow hotel with so much opulence with a wonderful animal rescue and reef made to keep the animals safe and sound.
Wow very overdecorated, I loved the aquarium in the restaurant
I want you to do a updated on the koi fish I miss the koi fish so much
Ive had dinner is burj al Arab it was pretty delicious
Amazing fish
Great!
Nice video
Thank for the video. It's a documentary about something I will never see in real life.
Mind blown
George!!!!!!!!! I love you!!!
Wow...
Incredible inside look @ opulence on steroids . Amazing display of the Billion dollar hotel and thanks Coral Fish 12 G for the opportunity to see it and I never knew Tiger hit 1 from there .... I am sure that he was hitting something else 🏮 Later !!!!!
Is this now a travel channel?
Hey George you should come visit 3 absolutely fish New Jersey Route 46 West Clifton the best aquarium pet store
Happy George and sucses for you
Top n mantap 👍
wow😳😳
Honestly, not as nice as I expected it to be on the inside. That bathroom made me wanna throw up. Cool aquariums though and the sea turtle rescue is an awesome project!
Now just imagine how strong and crazy stuff they have in the Freedom Tower here in NY. The building in this video cost 1 billion to build, and freedom tower cost 4 billion. But then again, that type of money over there goes a much longer way. Especially in the past 3 1/2 years (we all know why) 😮
I found the inside of the building pretty puke inducing but it was so nice to hear about the coral reef below and the turtle rehabilitation center. It's just a shame that precious gems are used on bidet taps!! What a crazy extravagance. Hopefully the gems are ethically sourced. I watched the program about that place before and they have a jewelry center where all the gems fair trade and ethically mined. Hopefully that's the same for all that revolting gold and gemstone all around the building.
I may have missed something, how come the channel is now just your name vs the og?
I love the vido can you tak to Denmark an se fish
wait coralfish12g isn't a channel anymore?
Damn that’s insane
Only Dubai 😍😍😍
At least its well decorated. Those mega expensive rooms in Las Vegas are just filled with cheap looking expensive modern art pieces. This FEELS like you'd think luxury should feel like
Underwater room. Perfect. Hotel itself, stunning. Those suites were absolutely vile though. I guess money can't buy taste lol
Right I thought it was just me I had to an advil after looking at those suites whoa lol
Parabéns pelo canal, eu também tenho um canal de peixes ornamentais.

What’s happening with aquashella orlando?
Ok everyone knows why there’s a mirror above the queens bed 😂
5:03 its the restaurant from zootopia😂❤
What hotel is this??
In other words, the burj needs another source of income, hence the tours for non guests.
Good looks good when used as an accent colour but when used as the main theme it looks tacky af
I was fortunate enough to stay there for a few nights before the pandemic. It was very expensive but definitely worth it Btw the normal guest rooms look a whole lot better than that goofy ahh thing
Damn how rich are you?
👍
Wonder if Kim k will come here on her next dubai trip 🤔
forgive me for saying this but this is like a 32 year old professional architect made a gold block house in minecraft
It’s impressive for sure. But I can’t imagine anyone staying here because of the nice modern interior. To be completely honest, even that most expensive suite looks like a circus or something. Feels like this hotel is that kind of hotel you need to stay in “just because it’s the Burj Al Arab or somewhere to show off how much money u have”
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👍
If the world ever ends and there's like 20 people left, 100% I'm going to this place
BRING BACK CORALFISH12G
Waw
If that truly is the kings bathroom than the lid & seat of the toilet would lift automatically.
😁👍
you first
Why did you change your name
Love the aquariums but the hotel is ugly as hell it looks like Elvis designed it on a bad trip
maybe because it's old
@@ANAN-er8rg if you think that's old my village church is over 1000 years old I'm in my 50s so you probably think I'm ancient 🤣
The butler had two famous people worth mentioning: Justin Bieber and Nelson Mandela?!? 😂
Did you know the import workers building this 7 star hotel earned $3 a day and stayed in abysmal working conditions? Nice room though!
The turtle probably told his insurance company he was only traveling 3k a year lmao 🤣 get clapped!
Have money has to be nice.😀
A certain former President has nothing on this hotel!
Has anyone heard anything about Aquashella? They haven’t updated social media or anything for a few months now. It’s already mid January and there still aren’t any updates about any events this year.
The aquariums were amazing...the suite was a little tacky.
