Underwhelming, like most of Dubai really, it's just a great exercise in how fast you can spend your money. Most Asian countries offer so much more value just through how their culture and natural hospitality is woven into the experience. Middle East haven't quite nailed it yet. I'm saying this as someone who grew up in Dubai. Thanks for giving us an insight into this spectacle of superficiality.

While one can certainly complain about it, the fact that these issues occur given the premium prices charged is a significant downside for me. It's a big enough issue that it influences my ratings and reviews of hotels. It's disappointing to see this lack of attention to detail, especially in places where you expect top-notch service and quality.

  • Hi Tim, The room was really nice, loved the large wardrobe would love one like that. The food looked so delicious, so much choice. Considering how expensive it is, was surprised about the paint coming off in the pool. There was a lot of steps everywhere, didn't look very disabled friendly. The price of the room was ok, it was all the little extra's on top. Thanks Tim.
