  • I'm dying. I have about a year, 18 months maximum left to live. I don't say that for sympathy, I tell you for perspective. I now realise that if you have enough money, you're doing ok. There's only so much you can do with excess money beyond what you need. In fact given I'll be dead in 18 months maximum, nothing would piss me off more at this moment than winning the lottery. If I had 20 or 30 years left yeah, I'm sure it would solve a few problems. But with limited life left, I can tell you nothing is more valuable than love, friendship, freedom, fresh air and the natural beauty of the world. If you are the type of person to spend £2,000,000 on a gold toilet, you have your priorities seriously upside down.

They get lured in, get a quick course in cleaning and other household chores, and are then flown off to the Emirates. (Or another rich Gulf-Arabic country). There, their passports are taken, they get living accommodations with 6-10 other women in the same situation, and then, it's all fun and games for the hosts. There have been incidents of women, who were hospitalized due to: Have had boiling water thrown on them, from beatings, from sexual assaults, etc etc. Some of these young women commit suicide. They are never allowed to go anywhere on their own, and are thereforetrapped in this mega-rich, hi-tech, Middle-ages-laws hell on Earth. These cases I have listed, are from human rights organizations reports, Amnesty International, and various news stations. In one case, a young woman was brought back home after a stay in the hospital. Her parents managed to collect money, so that they could take her home. It was covered by various media. The parents also sent out a message of warning to all, who might be watching:" Do not seek a job in Dubai..."

  • When you're this wealthy it becomes a vicious cycle of wanting more and avoiding boredom. Also, the higher you go the further you have to fall. That is, when you start losing your health and the reaper is coming for you. Wealthy people fear natural death more than the average earner. We need to live balanced lives. Too broke and a minute feels like eternity, too rich and the end will seem imminent.

Some of these people are narcissistic materialists who only have their needs to fulfill. I'd watch my back around these people. I absolutely love the luxury you can experience there, it makes your holiday to something special. As a woman I feel 100% safe there. • 0.51 You would see scenes like this as the financial crisis kicked in. For the most part the reason was as follows. If you go bankrupt in, in this case I assume Dubai, you go to prison until you can pay your debts. When the crisis hit many people were so loaded up with debt they fled the country. Many had bought properties that werent even built yet, many lost their jobs. The value of everything either disappeared or collapsed. Often their cars were bought on the never never too. They had to get out quick or face the music. At that time airport car parks were full of high end cars, and cheaper ones that were just abandoned as people rushed for their planes. Often the keys were simply left on the roof. This looks like one of the places the cars went as they cleaned out the airport.

Maybe you can blame governments but that isn't going to change anything. We know governments around the world are corrupt. But rich ppl are individuals who can do something about it like help those who don't even have access to basic needs but instead they pride in flexing their wealth and spending on stupid things.
