That bike is out of this world!!!!!!!!! Awesome project
That was an amazing job if I may say so! 👏 And that battery pack is probably the biggest I've seen to date on an EV, wow!👌
Great job . What country are you
Wow! Amazing skills. What a wonderful journey! I followed your trail with Google Satellite maps and it was truly inspiring to see your country. Thanks for sharing.
thanks..😁
You never fail to amaze me idol!!!! More built to come.
If you post affiliate links to the individual components, that would give us a cost breakdown. Very interesting project.
Incredible build...thanks for sharing!!
Wow this is a incredible build!
Nice project! Thank you for sharing!
Instead of using a ton of pricey and poorly conductive nickel strips in that zigzag pattern, you could weld just the rows and solder copper wire over the strips and across the columns. I used copper solder wick (spent) for every pack I made. But there are cheaper kinds of copper braids also. But damn... that's a big arse battery...
Amazing project and fantastic job! I also ride a refurbished mini e-bike of which I made the battery myself. Range is about 120km on a 36V 15Ah battery using new Headway cells. At this moment I'm rebuilding a 2nd e-bike. It's exactly the same model as the first one. For this one I plan to build a new more powerful battery. My goal is also to make a +300 km trip with this one.
I only get like 20 miles with 72v 30ah and that's with a areodynamic recumbent . But I do weight about 300 lbs . Can you please give me some advice on how to go farther ?
@@jacobclark89 the problem might be your battery, not true rated?Did you made it. For example it is 30ah but actuall its lower could be 5ah? One solution i cant think is smart BMS where you can monitor the voltage anytime.
@@jacobclark89 120km with a 36v15Ah is posible only pedaling with electric assist at 25km/h
@@Jakartax he said 72v 30ah that could be 17s or 20s? why you guys started to configure your battery by NUMBER of Series and Parallel. Not by volts and Ah. Because every brand is different. Also include you brand and cell size. If you do that we can go to vape forum like mooch works or any guys who reviews battery and we can count WH!
@@jacobclark89 I get 36 miles with that battery capacity using electric moped scooter at 28 mph so recumbent should get about double
Really appreciate what you have done here.
thanks 😄
@@albertnario4877 hey, this is a great project, very entertaining to watch you build it. do you intend to attach solar panels on the sides of the batteries? Do you watch 'Mike Patey' on KZhead?
excellent project, only thing i would add is a seat with a backrest and ape hanger handlebars.
Respect for the range, but it must be an absolute torture to ride such an uncomfortable bike just for even 100km... Ever considered to build a recumbent?
I suspect that young, healthy people might well endure the soreness better than someone older. I used to cope with discomfort lots better 40 years ago compared to now.
@@dennisyoung4631 very true
It can improve alot in future I see
or even just a regular bike where you exercise, not just sit like a sack of potatoes
It is common mistake of first time ebike builder to make as much range as possible. After the first range test, you only use a fraction of the battery and get frustrated about weight. The second ebike build will be more logical.
Parabéns pelo projeto!
I was wondering what you have been up to...Congrats brother you made the machine i knew you could do...That is your ticket to 300 k subs soon... Wow, im blown away at your talent and dedication to do something like this one. You are such an amazing person...Just wow!!!!
thanks 😁👍
@@albertnario4877 how much is the total cost to build it? I hope you could share it, thanks 🙂
The video I wanted to watch will be the same video, awesome bro 👍👍👌👌
Wow. Great build skills.
I would buy this in a heart beat. Its so awesome and well thought through. I wish you all the best
thanks 😄
@@albertnario4877 Me too. What's the cost of building the battery pack?
@@coolpoolshark 10 lipo = 25 usd ..... looks like he has 300 cells atleast = 750 usd + 50 usd for nickel strips and spot welder..... esc = 40 usd BMS 20 USD....
Complimenti e bravissimo hai fatto un bel lavoro e hai regiunto nun bel traguardo👍👍👍👍👍
That's incredible, it really is! Congrats! At first i was worried because the batteries are not all the same, and some other stuff, But it works!!
when you have so many in series it really doesn't matter, it only becomes a issue when you're running low numbers in parallel and pulling alot of amps.
thats what i think too! 200km is already good! then witht smart bms you can just monitor it
You have a great gift in your hands
honestly whoever made this bike is a genius.
What profiles did you use for frame? Are they holding shape and not bending over time?
Probably one of the best long range builds there is. Gotta say tho... it's quite a bomb
You're the Man,Albert .
Omg this is amazing bro!
damn bruh you're amazing fellow bataeño here!
Nice looking bike with big battery! Is those cells old cells or brand new? Looked like there were two different type cells on battery. Or are those only rewrapped?
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Enjoy your build.
You are going places!! Excuse the pun. Keep at it. 🇨🇦
holly shit, i love your builds, your very good, how many cell's... and are they all recovered laptop cells???? but i bet thats really heavy, well my converted mountain bike is heavy... so that fantastically crazy thing really must be, well done Al thats truly great
Super creation bro
Complete overkill but I love it. Good job
grabe sir sobrang layo ...galing ! 😍
Excelente bro. DTB 👍
Don't forget waterproofing at the top and drain holes at the bottom.
very nice idol imagine 320km+ wow pwede pang long ride tinalo pa mga ebike ni fido
I wish I had that type of range on my ebikes
You have skills bro!!
😍That is Great
Wow awesome range with them battery
Show !!! Parabéns pelo projeto. 👏👏
Genius. All I've got to say.
Are you using both motor simultaneously? Is that 2 controllers I see on the frame? What's their amp ratings? What's the watt ratings of both motor? How are you getting 320kms range at 50kph with less than 100Ah pack? I ride with 63Ah and can barely get 100kms from it?
respect man
You shoulda seen the inside of my brain when you was connecting all those batteries together..hamster done fell off the wheel.
great work
Exelente video brow
Awesome bro 😎💥🚀
wow amazing !!!!!!
Awesome!
Grabe Ang layo Ng inabot boss. Two thumbs up
masakit sa katawan.. haha
super cool
now that would be cool as a board tracker style
Truely Great make
Galing talaga ganda ng project
nice build
I WANT THIS AMAZING THINGS 😍❤️🔥
Galing naman ni kabayan
Insane
That's dope
Very cool..
How long does it take to charge this battery? And what's the battery capacity?
Awesome
Can you help me with the battery specifications and BMS and controller with what kinda of hub motor are you using?
Bravo 👍👋👋👋
Quá đỉnh
Thebest👍
What kind of welding and electrodes do you have, so you can easily get a seam comparable to semi-automatic wire welding ?!)
Very impressive, what made you choose two motors & do you pedal to assist in those steep uphills climbs?
dual motors are more efficient in uphill.. pedal only works in 15kph, basically I never use pedals in the entire range test 😁👍
Without the speed limit how fast can it ride?
Superb bro. Can you please add links description parts
How many watts is the hub motor? Maximum speed? What about the other channel on the esc, since its a dual esc? Can you do a video about battery pack arrangements etc.. this is a great project. Congrats 👏
1 or 1.5 kWt, max 60
2 motors, you can see it in description.
Nice
Sana All...
What type of battery are you using are they salvage.
spot weldernya sangat bagus
ganda! layo nung range.
nice vdo can u plz explain how to make 48v 96ah battery , i need one for my ev.
ok nice bike but I need to know about the bullet light.
Maganda kng my led lights sa lagayan ng battery... Good job.. galing.
plano ko dn yun 😁
What material is the frame made out of?
Wow
U got plans for the frame?
Dumaan Kapa yata Ng Judy's park Lodi hehhe
The build itself isn't bad but i can see, that nobody in this comment section knows anything about battery safety. It'll be fine for a few years but nobody should ever use hot glue to stick batteries together in such a large pack. Again, it'll be fine for a few years at least. The issue is that bumps and stuff on the road will make micro movements in the battery tearing the plastic battery covers but that's not such a bad issue considering the hot glue doesn't let the cells touch each other. I built my first pack like that. By the time i retired that pack after 2 years, almost no cells had intact wrapping. Not recommended for safety but everyone does what they can with what they have available. Nice bike. Ok battery, would be excellent with cell spacers. Build your next one with them, saves time and hot glue :P
How long for a full charge?
