Thank you to all the Europeans who sent their sunscreens to Dr. Dray so the rest of us can learn about your wonderful sunscreens.
I use the first one, it's a bit shiny on the face as she said, but if you use just a little bit on all the face it looks just as a moisturizer! I love it! Also I noticed my skin has cleared a bit since I use sunscreen everyday
Asia Ferrua I’m thinking about purchasing it, is it sticky on the body? I live in a very humid climate and some sunscreen can be really greasy
@@mectateljnica3980 I don't know, it probably depends also on your skin :( I live in northern Italy so it's pretty humid and for me it's not sticky, when it's absorbed you don't even feel it
Asia Ferrua I have combination skin, sometimes is oilier but it still needs a lot of hydration. Thank you for your reply! ☺️
@@mectateljnica3980 Same! It probably will suit you well then ^^
Omg, thank you very much for this video. I'm from Europe and sometimes I was getting really frustrated because I don't have access to cosmetics you present in your videos. I learned a lot from you and it happens I own 2 of the products you presented here as a result of your past videos, and I'm really proud that I made the good choices and now I got your approval to put it like this. Thank you very much, Dr. Dray.
Tamara Precop 💙
@tamareprecop I can so relate to that 😂
Is garnier 50 spf is good for oily skin or not plz tell me?
@@bismaaslam9521 I tried this product. I personally didn't like it because I did get a slightly tan, considering I applied it several times during the day and avoided the sun. This never happened with other products. I do have normal skin and it left a shiny cast. But this was several years ago. Maybe they improved the formula now. This was my experience.
@@DrDrayzday is any one sunscreen available in India
You should start doing more of this kinda “products from europe” videos for your eu subs 😌 lately ive noticed that some products you recommend have almost a complete different formula in the eu, like the la roche posay ones in particular, nowadays i learned to check the ingredients to make sure its the same as you recommended but before that so many products gave me breakouts bc of formula change.
It's so frustrating, isn't it? Neutrogena and La Roche Posay products in Europe are completely different. I'm guessing it has to do with some regulations in regards to ingredients, but that's just a speculation. I have to order my moisturizer from iHerb because they don't sell anything even close to it in Europe. Why is it impossible to find a fragrance-free, non-comedogenic moisturizer in Europe. Just why?
@@karolina5786 Right! I brought La Roche Posay's effaclar duo and it's COMPLETELY different. It doesn't have benzoyl peroxide which is the main ingredient in its US version. I understand that they have to change formulas cause the EU has strict regulations but they should be more transparent about this :) Two completely different products should not have the same name.
@@karolina5786 I enjoy LRP ultra fluide and Cerave moisturizing face lotion as light moisturizers, both fragrance free
@@allieioanaa Hey girls. If there are dm stores in your country, sundance that she reviews at 18:46 is great and affordable (4 or 5 € where I live)
@@tinapearlsound7611 i had an spf from sundance as well fragrance free and it was pretty good for the price, i love dm haha
At first I disliked you because you made fun of all my products, but you changed my life because your advice helped me a lot. Now I'm a big fan of you!😊
Lol
Omghahahaz the fear when she picks up a product you use Hahahaha
Same lmao
Yep, I was convinced for a very long time that "all natural" products were the best thing for my skin. Wrong. I too am now an avid follower of Dr. Dray's advice! :D
Lol yes, Dr. Dray broke my heart at the beginning, but later it was repairing and now I am happier than ever with my skin care routine; thank you thank you Dr Dray ❤️
As a European, this is INCREDIBLY helpful! Thank you so much, Andrea! You're amazing!
just wanna say thank you for helping me realize that i don't need to break the bank for skincare products and that there's really awesome cheaper skincare that work just as good if not better than a lot of the hyped luxury brands.
Hi dr Dray! Thanks a lot for taking care of European viewers! Tried all French brand spfs mentioned. All are great. Favourite is Shaka and Altruist thought. Have a great week!
Can you please consider doing a hair care video? Mine is damaged from hair color and sun exposure but even before I dyed it, it never looked as good and healthy as yours!
Thank you for covering some of the European sunscreens! Altruist also have 2 face lightweight SPF 50 liquids for the face, one with colour and one without, which may be less shiny! And they do liter-sized versions of their body sunscreens with pumps for a very reasonable price, which I love.
Still on the Altruist! Love it!! Use it as my daily moisturizer and makeup goes well over it. It is cheap and absolutely wonderful....thanks for the tip! I just ordered my second round and am going to try the Shaka and Ombrelle. Would LOVE to see more videos on spf clothing options. I wear lots of “fishing” shirts with spf but even with the vents....get tired of colored shirts.
Was hoping for a video like this! Look forward to seeing the Asian sunscreen video too
Thank you for reviewing also products from Europe! Thank you for all your effort on making these videos!
THANK YOU for this! We are American who recently moved to Bavaria. This is so helpful.
Omg, I was just looking at European sunscreens the other day and was going to ask if you could do a review of more sunscreens from Europe. My prayers have been answered, thanks so much Dr. Dray!
Ally 💙
I love your channel and your approach to health care. In the US our health care system is a mess so we have to start doing something different. Dr. Dray is one of the brave, creative people doing something different. Educating people in a way that is easy to understand is a huge benefit. It allows the viewer to make better decisions for themselves and take control of their health issues. I always look forward to her Q&As.
Thank you SOOOO much for this video! I love your videos and learn a lot from them, so I'm even more happy you reviewed these products that are accessible for me too here in Europe where I'm from! Would love to see more videos of this kind! 😁😁😁
Thanks ^^ i am from Germany an I just bought the sunscreen from Garnier. I didn't think I would find such a big youtuber reviewing it
I use to buy Garnier Ambre Solaire when I lived in the UK. It's in all the drugstores there, and it is great for both the face and body.
So appreciate all the product choices you review and/or recommend for skincare and especially sunscreen! The sheer number of them is dizzying and having someone like you to sort them out is phenomenal! Thanks and Happy Monday!
helpfulnatural 💙
Thank you so much for this video! It helped me so much, I was hesitating for a couple of weeks now what product to buy, and this video poped up in my stream, and just got all my answers. Thank you, Dr Dray! I wish you could make more videos with products available in Europe. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for the reviews! Just placed my order on the altruist sunscreen :) can't wait!!
You've literally saved me hundreds of dollars on unnecessary skincare, and my dr dray inspired routine has transformed me!
The intro was so sweet. Thanks for this video.
Happy Monday!
Thank you so much - so informative! You hair is looking amazing, by the way!
Total huge fan! Learned a lot from you and now my face is much clearer and my rosacea is in control! Thank You for all the wonderful advice!
I use the Ultrasun spf 50 and I love it. Since I use this I never have sunburns again, also the ingredients are better no trash or anything. It is a thick cream though and leaves a white haze but that doesn't bother me I have heard and read that a white haze is actually very good. I also use the UtlraSun face spf 30. It is a bit expensive though but very good quality and that's what matters👌
You’re so right about that Bioderma sunscreen being stingy on the eyes. I was super disappointed as I had heard great things about it.
As always , Thank You for being so informative !
Nailed it - again.! Thank you and the viewers for this review - great to see some brands I have recently heard of get a shout out. Hello from London : - )
Your skin is like glass ❤️ I love you! You’ve saved me a fortune so thank you! Keep being a star ⭐️
Thanks a lot for this review and everyone who send the sunscreens overseas. I really love the ultrasun sunscreen. It applies so nicely on skin. And in particular on the face it doesn't end up being shiny or greesy or whatsoever
Your voice sounded really nice in this video and I really enjoyed how relaxed you looked. Your skin and hair are goddamn glowing.
Dear Doctor, thank you so much for this video. This is really big help for us in Europe!! Thanks to person who send those to you too!
I bought the garnier ambre solaire one and just discovered that you approve of it, thanks! 👌
0:00 garnier ambre solaire 3:56 antinica lotion 6:30 Eucerin sensitive protect sunscreen
I'm from latin america. And this video it's so usefull for us, thus products actually get to us, whitout modifications so... i was expecting a video like this. Thanks a lot.
You rock ! As an American living in the U.K. I have fallen in love with Altruist and Garnier. I usually apply them as a base over my serums and then finish with the Frezyderm on top as it mattifys everything and makes a nice BB cream like finish.
Fantastic video, really appreciate all your advice and specific ingredient explanations 💛 Happy Monday!
I’ve been looking forward for this video for a long time... thanks from Portugal
dr dray i don’t know what you’ve been doing but keep doing it! you’ve been looking healthy and glowing lately! and of course the videos still as informative as ever
ggdomination could it be the tretinoin? 😃
@SophieSophs She moved onto Retin A some time ago. Probably a year now ...
Maybe it’s because she using make up?
I agree , she looks better in this vidéo .
Yasmina Lee She doesn't wear makeup really though. In terms of makeup she only wears mascara and tinted moisturizer/sunscreen.
I'm in the Air Force and we're deployed with the Italians and I found EuPhidra in the 'free for all" in the bathroom. It goes on nicely and isn't greasy or shiny
International, cross cultural, and invested in helping others save their skin all over the world.
Amazing how different the ingredients lists are here in Europe from the ones in the States. On further note, how different and unique our skins are. I am personally not sensitive to fragrance, but the Eucerin's ones are soooo ovewhelming and eye stinging that I gave up on trying them. On the other hand, Bioderma ones are quite safe for my highly sensitive eyes. Always: 1. Listen to your skin: 2. Check the ingredient lists for any product
You’re such a beautiful soul Dr Dray. Thank you so so much for always putting out all this info about skincare. I’ve learned so so much from you. I hope you always know how much your time and effort in these videos is appreciated 🙏🙏 thank you ❤️
Omg thank you soooo much for this video! I'm french and I follow you
Thank you so much for this review and thanks to whoever sent you the SunDance sunscreen! I had never tried it before because I didn't think it could be any good at that price (4€!) but now I'm definitely gonna give it a shot. With expensive products I have the bad habit to subconsciously try to use less of it to save money so hoping this will fix that problem ;)
THANK U THANK U SO MUCH!!! I really want to get into using spf daily and i couldn't find any video of a dermatologist giving their opinion on European spf
Eucerin Cream-Gel is my sunscreen of choice! SO good! I would love to see you check out Esthederm's Sun Intolerance Creme(French). That's something I really wish we got stateside.
I am so happy you introduced us to Altruist. Love the 50 on my body. On my face, I suspect I am having issues with Avobenzone. Never used a product with that filter and I don't think it likes me. What a wonderful texture. Like a big hug.
Love this! I’m European and this is super useful because I’m pale and have sensitive skin.
Thanks so much for all your sunscreen videos. Very informative! Since I started watching you, I now wear sunscreen on a daily basis and reapply as well throughout the day. I also have simplified my beauty routine and realized I didn't the pricey serums, masks and exfoliants. My skin feels much better, I have less irritation and breakouts, plus I am saving money.
I’ve bought myself some Garnier Ambre Solaire sensitive advanced from amazon uk and was hoping a review would pop up here! I bought the anti aging version which has 4 star UVA protection rating. Really nice and moisturizing!
I love that you added the bit about alcohol denat. This is why I continue to love you and your channel! Your advice is measured and logical and it is just so refreshing to hear. 👍👍
:)
Uriage Bariésun Mineral on the face, Sundance Sensitive 50 on the body, that's how I roll! Glad to see them get the love tgey deserve in one of your videos!
I am really looking forward to the Japanese/Korean sunscreen review! I love the Skin Aqua and Mermaid Gel! the limitation I’m running into is not being able to read the labels, so your review would be extra helpful! 😀
Dena D ratzillacosme.com has tons of info about japanese products & their ingredients. Just search “skin aqua ratzilla” or “mermaid gel ratzilla” on google for full ingredient list
Dena D 💙
Also cosdna.com has a lot of information on the ingredient list of both Korean and Japanese products, also many European and American products I believe. They have information on all the ingredients as well.
Hi Dr Dray. Thank you so much for continuously sharing your knowledge with all of us. I've learnt so much from you, so thank you! Sam 😘🇬🇧
Thank you from Romania, dr Dray! 💗
I LITERALLY JUST GOT TO EUROPE and was looking through your videos to find reviews of European sunscreens this is crazy coincidence
Yes !!! Thank you doc, we have eucerin and uriage in Chile 🇨🇱 too and LRP and I am running low of my korean sunscreens so this info is much needed 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Camila Valenzuela Sáez 💙
Fantastic info Dr. Dray..Thank you for your dedication !!
I am really happy with the Louis Widmer sunscreen spf 30 for the face. It's a chemical sunscreen that's moisturizing, vegan and applies beautifully under makeup. And pretty affordable too. I'm about to purchase my second tube.
wait, you guys have different brands of spf than we do in europe?I thought they were sold worldwide Frezyderm is an AMAZING brand, I'm so happy it's becoming more famous.Greetings from Greece❤
i bought Altruist thanks to you today! Have been wearing sunscreen on the daily almost now :) thanks!!
Love this video!! Love hearing about the different Sunscreens!! Thank You sooo Much as Always for a Perfect Review!! xoxo
hope you are haivng a great week
Thank you for your advice and information for all of us in Europe!
Jacqui Harney 💙
Thank you so much, Dr Dray, I just found a very useful video of you reviewing the sunscreen that I can get in Europe, as I live in the UK. You save my time trying out sunscreen from all other countries. Thanks again
Hi Dr Dray! A while ago you tried out a sunscreen from NZ called Skinnies but you have not mentioned that again and I have always wondered how you got on with it and whether you enjoyed it or not. I picked up their tinted one in Light and Medium but think I probably should have just gone for the normal one and used my tinted sunscreen over the top like you do. On a side note, thank you to everyone that has sent you these sunscreens to try out! It's good to hear Dr Dray's opinion on them for those in other corners of the world :).
Glad to know that we are blessed with so many excellent sunscreens in Europe, even the drugstore house brand (Sundance from DM) has wonderful sunscreens. Will there one day be a European drugstore skincare review?🤓 ❤ Sending love from Germany
I am currently using one of the Sundsnce sunscreens, it's great.
Karlie Chen me and my mom love the sundance sunscreen, it’s really good
Is it sticky on the body? I live in a really humid climate 🙈
Is sun dance safe ? Ingredients ?
hii I'm also from germany
I’ve been using the your good skin spf 30 and really enjoy the consistency and that it’s not super greasy ✌🏽
I’m glad that she instantly pulls up the sunscreen that I use, Garnier Ambre Solaire sensitive advanced spf 50, although my one is formulated slightly differently and has a UVA rating of 5 star, idk why
I finished the frezyderm velvet finish spf 50 and I loved it? It's too expensive for me to repurchase, but I had a great experience with it. Now I'm using the La Roche Posay Shaka fluid spf 50, which is also a little pricey for me but worth it! It's completely invisible.
I have been using Altruist for a few years now. Really good and moisturizing. I would even say I am dependent on them now. Love Love Love.
Thank you so so much for taking time out for making this video ❤️
I LOVE my shaka fluid...really sensitive skin, 42years...perfect and soothing. Love from Germany!
Thank you so much! This video is super helpful for me. I live in Germany and I really didn't know about a lot of these European products. I wanted to buy a sunscreen from an American brand but unfortunately they didn't ship internationally but now I also have good options here in Europe 😇
Wow I’m so excited! I was able to order through Amazon UK! 🇬🇧
Thank you so much for this great video. Really really helpful
Yes!!! I have a fried who would do anything for me... visiting Europe right now. Bless your heart, brain, and epidermis, Dr. Dray:-)
:)
thankyou so much for these explanations, so so helpful 🤍
This is the video I needed 🙉🙌 I love your videos, sending love from Greece!
Yes, Frezyderm is a greek brand! The tinted one is excellent but sadly, it was breaking me out
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Dr. Dray!!❤️❤️ Lovely greetings from Berlin, Germany 🌻
thank you so much for this video. just discovered my new favourite sunscreen - altruist
Thank you for this video. We live in Switzerland and I was searching for a good sunscreen. 🤗
my absolute favorite european sunscreen is the Eucerin Oil Control one. it’s SOOO light and definitely does control your oil. it leaves your skin with a slight shiny finish but it’s not oily or sticky at all
Currently using the shaka fluid (fragrance free) and i love it ❤️ i also wanted to try the eucerin sunscreens
Hello Dr. Dray, Great video! I appreciate your opinion and the value the FREE information you generously give 💙 . Thank you so much for your time!🌈
thanks for watching
I really enjoy using the Sun Dance and Garnier ones! I'm so glad they are both Dr Dray approved lol :)
Same, i buy the SunDance ones in Germany. I like them, they are very afordable
Hello! I was thinking about purchasing one of those two, which one would you recommend for humid climate? I need sunscreen that is moisturising but not greasy on the body.
Does the garnier have a white cast?
Sundance is quite sticky on the skin for me even in Germany.
Thank you Dr.Dray for your expert advice and honest reviews. You are looking more healthy and beautiful everyday.
Thankyou for the information Dr Dray. You look so pretty your face is radiating health 🧚♀️
thanks
I'm sitting at a dermatologist office because I'm with my bf who needs a skin ckup because he has had numerous spots removed from his face and arms, and I'm seeing all these people coming in with bandages on their faces. It's really sad because if they would use sunscreen they probably wouldn't be here! I have pretty nice skin and alot of the sensitivity is gone thanks to dr. dray. Skincare is so important!!😎💛
I’ve been using the Garnier sunscreen for about two years now and it really is great. It’s very oily and i don’t get clogged pores from it and the majority of my makeup goes great over it(I have combo skin).
We r so lucky to hav u in our lives, so its no wonder u hav such good subbies! Yes please do a video on japanese & korean sunscreens. Using Hada labo & Aqua skin moisture milk based on ur rec & love them, but would like to if there r any new ones worth trying.
That’s really helpful, thanks!
Happy Monday Dr. Dray! Thank you for some new sunscreen to try.
Happy Monday!
I used Bioderma for many years because physical sunscreens just weren't available in my country, and it definitely does not protect against skin darkening, melasma, sunspots, etc. When I started using mineral sunscreens, there was a really marked difference in the stability of my pigmentation. I really think that some chemical sunscreens work better in theory than in practice. (even with constant reapplication)
I might pick up some of these since I’m currently on a trip in Cardiff!💙
have a fun trip!
Frezyderm is Greece SPF but it is available in lot of EU countries and there is also tinted version. I adore it, it is perfect under makeup. I am so happy you liked it.
Radmila Todorovic it is really nice ❤️
I've started using Frezyderm as my second application (over makeup) and it's worked out well.
@@AlisVonMeat according to the package it includes UVA protection.. I have used it for about a year now and I believe it is really good
Really a wonderful product. I have tried the regular and the tinted. I prefer the regular as the tinted was too dark and heavy on me.
Hello Dr Dray and everyone! Just came back to this video to say that the Altruist sunscreen is amazing, just got the chance to try it! It’s great, not too shiny (I tried the spf 50) and doesn’t sting around the eyes, also you get 200 ml for 10€ which is a very affordable price compared to other sunscreens. Than you for advicing it!
SVR blur SPF50 is amazing as a primer. It has a beautifully blurring effect and is great for oily and combo skin, no powder needed. It has a mousse like consistency, feels very nice. Downside - it has perfume.
I asked for that a long ago!! Thanks, hello from Spain
