  • When I was at the gym. I never took more then 3 lots of dumbbells. Mind you it was for a drop set not a full workout so I was done with the 3 lots real fast. That. Plus them pre built barbells I think the biggest was 55kg. I done standing overhead press drops sets and racked and grabbed every time.

  • Use mirrors to study your form. Sure, it can also give you a boost seeing your muscles flex, but without a mirror, I'd still be shifting my hip when squatting. If you don't have a training partner or someone who can watch you perform a particular lift (and who knows good form), use a mirror sometimes to watch yourself go through the lift.

  • Starting Strength has a routine for tendonitis. Both golfers and tennis elbos. I'm sure I can remodel it for your forearms. I'm a physical therapist if credentials matter to you. I fixed my own tendonitis, my brothers. 4 of my friends. The worst one was waking up at night feeling with pulsing pain
