  • I love watching Devon give tips. He's so in tune with his and Eric's hands and position that he can just look at Eric or off into space, knowing exactly what to say by feel. So chill and patient too, it's like watching a BJJ teacher roll with his eyes closed, giving tips to a student. Zen of arm wrestling right here!

  • So interesting; I find that both Devon and Bugez tend to "act out" when just making an appearance, but as teacher and student respectively they are completely different. Devon particularly came across as a fantastic teacher.

  • sticky ricky being out of his element is always so interesting to me. he’s clearly a committed learner, though, and devon seemed to pick up on that immediately. i don’t watch a ton of the arm wrestling videos, but love seeing two masters (and overall hilarious people) just getting into it!

  • juji had him inches from the pad and practically laying ontop of Devon but Devon still stopped it cold with barely any discernible strain. That's just insane. Obviously there's a skill gap i get that, but the strength to hold a man who has to be a very strong individual in his own right....at that position, while smiling.....it's just insane.

  • I think Devon gives a little TOO much information to noobs. It can get overwhelming to them. I think he should just focus on 2 or 3 things to teach them as a priority. Most of the hand and elbow movement manipulation is pretty advanced and not something a first timer can grasp.

    • Being only an arm wrestling observer for the past while, it doesn't seem that crazy, it's just that people can't handle it or aren't naturals to the sport mechanics. I've already internalized a lot of what the big names have put out (Devon, Michael Todd, Hutchings, etc.) and it's not rocket science, just a lot of technique and experience.

  • As a dude who has not had a ton of interest in the sport of Arm Wrestling (watched matches here and there), it is actually quite fascinating to see all of the ques, technique and mindset/strategy involved in it. It is like an active combat version of chess, focused through the arms of the competitors 🤘🏻.

  • Devin is a great teacher and great ambassador! He overloads these newbies brains with info sometimes. I wonder if just keeping it simple step by step until they master each step might work more smoothly. Almost seems like buge's too big for the form devon was teaching lmao (triceps and chest getting in the way) Devon's kinda got 2 sides in jujis vids, very chill and informative when teaching and then hilarious when learning something himself (powerlifting and grip vids)

    • @@jameshubbard6810 No it’s just a big twitch/jump. Hurts worse to do a deep massage or massage gun on the area. Sore afterwards a couple hours which is the healing- arguably from the healing properties of the plasma and platelets that have rushed to the area.
