7:53 jeez you scared me
the wrong gc standings or the scream?
@@dhruvanaidu9738haha. it was the scream
I had this on the big speakers. Almost waking up my sleeping kids with this horror😅
Yeah did not see that coming.
You can bring the podcaster out of Australia but you can't take the Australia out of the podcaster...
Don’t know why I bothered watching the Eurosport “highlights” of the race, they skipped from about the 2km mark to the winner rolling over the line lol. Thank you for the quality highlight and analysis LR!
Wow, a Tudor win, *that’s awesome!* 🏆
Keep practising my english thru your video and my passion every raceday is a pure delight. Thanks for being Greeting from France mate.
It would be nice if Patrick and Benji did a podcast in french
@@yvestrembleau2396 it would be hilarious :D
Biggest Tudor victory since 1485.
😂 1588 wasn’t bad either
the BMC lives on
Yeah boy. That bike and kit are styled well together
7:53 will have to reset my pacemaker now, thanks
7:51 can't say I wasn't expecting it but it did catch me extremely off guard and now I'm dying 😂
The random screams always get me LMAOOOOO
Great analysis. Very clear that the Tudor move up on the right on that wide section was super smart because when the road narrowed through those successive chicanes there was no comeback for the other sprint trains.
I've been very impressed by the riding of Laurence Pithie so far this season. He gives it a go in every single race, and it's been an excellent debut for a World Tour rookie.
Go Tudor!
Classic Lanterne sprint analysis, missed that more than i expected ❤ season is go!
I really appreciate your complete impartiality in your race analysis. 😁 Super job as always!
Great to see some variety on the podium
come oooonee
Let's GO
The best recaps in cycling.
Mads thought the Bora rider was Roglic and therefore kicked again so he wouldn't take seconds but quickly realised that Roglic would never be able to contest Mads in a sprint like that and therefore couldn't be him
GC Pithie make it happen
I read that Gibbons thought Mads Pedersen was a Bora-rider and stopped pedalling...
The general classification at 7:57 really confused me. What even happened there, 90% of the field is just missing.
Patric needs to get his math on turn sorted out. 270 degree turns...
Two 70 degrees turns. The quantity (2) and the angle of turns (70 degrees). I think his math is decent.
@@Idntrmmbryou OK, I'm not a math major, but to my "common" use of terms/understanding...a right turn would be a 90 degree turn, a turn that reverses the direction of travel would be a 180 degree turn. While the angle of the road if plotted could be described as a 70 degree acute angle, the change in the direction of travel would be more like 120 degree turn (180 - 70 = 120). Edit: And at 3:38 "we've got 270 degree turns galore" sounds like he's talking about 270 degree turns, and more than 2.
its an inside joke on the podcast
@@luka3568 I'll proudly call myself a LRCP degenerate, but I never heard that inside joke lmao
@@joebriggs8422yes although 110 not 120!
Are you going to cover the tirreno adriatica as well?
No, i dont have licensing rights for it
@@LanterneRougeCycling not even with still images instead of video? It's a shame because your coverage is great and it feels almost like I watched the whole race, keep this up nonetheless 💪
Tudor's prospects are in deKlein.
Mayrhofer isn't too bad either.
Lol Tudors shields look like smiley faces on some of their backs.
Decent workmanship for Tudor.
hilarious lets go to conclude the vid. come on indeed sir ;)
Tudor is managed by Cancellara! Great to see Fabian’s team get this result.
Is Jakobsen ever really gonna comeback?
Thanks for the video!! I wonder what is going on with De Lie......dude is nowhere to be seen!!!
He fell in GP Samyn
@@Jonas-Lepere I know....but not even trying in just about the only stage where you got a chance suggests that there is more to it though....
@@pauljansen1137still hurting from the crash shouldn’t even be here
It's a wt race, this is normal for him
@@cheechorino3710 I agree....better for him to save energy and start in a race like Nokere Koerse...
I hate to be that guy but Lille is pronounced "Lil". Its the city where Wout Van Aert grew up. Not to far from where i live 😊
Does Arvid have the biggest neck in cycling?
REMCO'S 50K SOLO WHEN?
@3:55 how is this a 270 degree turn? It's not even 170.
One of two 70 degree turns
mate, you chose to cover the wrong race... should have gone for the Tirreno. Nail-biting first stage.
Not interesting at all without a long climb or lots of short steep climbs.
Pithy is pithy.
