  • Egan should keep calm: lots of improvement were already made, but more are necessary to get back to potential grand tour winner level.

    • Really? For me it's Jorgenson. It's amazing he's in the hunt for the GC. He's huge compared to everything next to him

    • @@Shadowboost don't get me wrong, fuck yeah America I am beyond STOKED for Matteo (and McNulty for that matter), but I've been rooting for Egan for a long while now and I honestly started to lose comeback hope for him. I still don't think he'll ever compete for a GT again, but this race is an Egan I haven't seen since the crash.

  • Funny how Jorgenson was bickering about Skjelmose not putting in the work the other day... He didn't make one pull himself today before the moment he realized that he was about to take the leaders jersey, with about 1k to go xD

    @deathkampdrone@deathkampdrone2 ай бұрын
    • First off, he didn't "bicker". Second of all, yes, he did pull this day, unlike Skjelmose, not even a tiny bit. People like you who make comments online to mislead others are disgusting.

  • I get the feeling that nobody bothered to tell Ineos that they're not the dominant team they were back in the Sky days. They keep trying to dominate the pace setting when they should just sit back and let Remco's team and Roglic's team battle it out between them.

    • Controlling the pace without being relevant in the finale is just putting in work for the other teams so you're right. But what should they do? Sit back and let others set a pace doesn't help them when they will get dropped anyway when a top contender ups the pace in the finale. And being there just to protect someone who up till now hasn't really been able to stay relevant in the deep finals is also worthless isn't it? Damned if you do, damned if you don't. This way they at least get some screen time, being on the front before the finale but after coverage starts ;) @@ikbenwelthuis

    • Among the GC contenders, he was the one gaining most from this stage, so his non-intelligent strategy worked just fine. The reason he is pulling when he doesn't need to, is to see who drops. Putting pressure, probing. If someone has a bad day, it will look genius. Today it didn't.

      @japphan@japphan2 ай бұрын
