That Mohoric crash where he is completely upside down in the air will never not amaze me, incredible scenes.

thats what disc brakes do you to you. it locks up on the front boom
Crazy the way the front fork shears off.
@@RantingYogi overcooked it and clipped the kerb - the back end is going as he comes into frame. Rim brakes wouldnt have changed a thing.

The time when I fall in love with watching cycling race. Always Giro 2021 stage 9 gravel was always memorable. I thought that there are always gravel in some stages in the Giro LOL! Badass to watch for sure

It's great to see him back, give how horrendous his crash was. He's lucky to be alive, and he embraced that chance by working his ass off to get back to top level. Can't wait to see him win again or at least challenge the other leaders

I think we should not forget Buchmann in this Giro. It was the last Grand Tour at the start of which he was well prepared. It is a shame that he crashed out before they went to the mountain stages that would have suited him better. It is crazy how much of bad luck this guy had in the last two years and I am not so shure wether he is still able to compete at the 2019 level by now.
He already pulled out of the giro because of an urinary infection. Still bad luck for him…

Egan Bernal in good form is great to watch, I remember his 3rd place at Strade Bianche, when he only was beaten by the hill goat Alaphilippe in good form and a MVDP in stellar form. People like Pidcock, Pogacar and Van Aert lost half a minute to him in the final there. Can't wait for the next edition.

As someone who had a nasty crash and landed on my head in a descent, it took me AAAAGES to be confident descending again, and it’s still at the back of my mind 18 months later. Mohoric is an absolute gangster.

You should make a series analyzing classic Grand Tour stages. Indurain, Pantani and the like. We all know how they achieved those performances but still, would be cool.

mohoric swerwed due to rear wheel slip and because of that clipped a rainwater drain in the kerb. He gave an interview about that after Milano San Remo win.

He didn’t use too much front brake and didn’t clip the curb, he lost the rear and high sided. Happens commonly in motorcycle racing. The rear goes, then hooks up mid-slide, and the physics then throws you over the bars to the high side. Has nothing to do with braking.

Disc brakes are so dangerous on a road bike...crazy
