Bologna's stadium is really beautiful as it is, hopefully when they modernise it it still retains its beauty.
*IF they modernise it
Hopefully. It will be a mix of history (1927) and top modern. As a citizen of Bologna I dream to see it completed. In X years.
Reminds me of soldier field in some ways! Hope they learn from that

The sad thing for those of us old enough to have known Italian football as the most glamorous in the world is that the improvements shown to at least half of those stadiums will only begin to address decades of neglect. The end result will still leave Italian stadiums miles behind those in the other big European leagues. That's before we consider whether people will start turning up to watch games in those new stands. It's such a shame.
these new upgrades bring fans closer to the action. If the authorities can reduce the Ultras nonsense and make the stadiums family friendly i dont see why the stands wont be packed like other European stadiums.
@@giths19 shut up u casual 💀 reduce the ultras and make it more family friendly 🤣🤣🤣 receipe for a dead atmosphere
They will watch football because its the biggest in Italy and still a top 4-5 league.
You're right. These renovations are just powdering. It's surprising that such a good league has such outdated stadiums. Moreover, unlike other leagues, in Italy it is common for two teams to share the stadium (Inter&Milan, Lazio&Roma, Sampdoria&Genoa) and this would reduce construction costs. Now only Juve has a modern stadium, shame.
@@giths19What are you talking about? When it comes to attendance, Serie A is the third league in Europe and it achieves this with stadiums resembling open-air museums. Nobody wants a family friendly league. 😂
So beautiful the new Bologna Stadium
The best of these projects. So old but so new.
The quality on this video was amazing. Really enjoyed seeing the surrounding areas of each stadium. The new Atalanta one was my favourite along with the old Cagliari one
The Atalanta stadium project is already completed!
Wow, fantastic. I hope to find in a nearby future another video like this. Maybe with my Palermo too.
Bologna's current one is actually built on the old littoriale stadium built by mussolini, you can see the style of the maratona tower. That's what the new restyiling wants to keep while modernizing the rest
It would be the most beautiful one, if they managed to do it of course.

Beautiful video. Hope these plans actually happen. Roma have had plans since 2014 for a new stadium…
Very happy that new stadiums are being built in Italy, they look spectacular, some combine a part of the classic with the new, others completely brand new, I was starting to despair that they were being built in the rest of Europe but in Italy although proposals were presented, there were no agreements to build. Finally the projects are being carried out, although I hope that in Milan San Siro will remain, along with the new stadium, and that more new ones are built.

It will never happen...

As much as I respect Italian football and what it has given the world and would love to see their stadia updated and improved: I am skeptical if any of these will happen given the economic and government situations in Italy.
Stadiums are built by private individuals, by those who manage football teams. Governments don't spend a penny, they just give concessions to private individuals to build. There are economic problems in much of Europe, and also in the United States. Maybe let's inform ourselves better before writing things that are not entirely truthful, spread by the media only for sensationalism
San Siro is full of memories 😢

Rome should build something similar to the Colosseum in style. ALso Firenze project is very minimalistic.
Ok, the A.S. Roma stadium project you showed is the *FAILED* one from the former owner James Pallotta, aka Pallotto. He left *FOUR YEARS AGO.* 😅 Roma's current president Dan Friedkin, aka Top Dan, is indeed planning to build a new stadium, but in a completely different area of the city and with a completely different project and design.
I’m pretty sure that Milan and Inter went with the Cathedral design not the one that you used int he video.

About time. Unfortunately Italian stadia are about thirty years behind the rest of the world. (And why all the running tracks???))
old stadiums look more unique & have more character
Brilliant work as always 👏 Always a shame to see iconic stadiums rebuilt like San Siro because it has its own character and would be better if they could just renovate it. A lot of these stadiums do need a lot of work, but if they could just keep what gives the stadium character like Bologna and Fiorentina then that’s all you need.
2/2 4th on the list: La Dea - Atalanta! I believe that we have all seen enough of it already, given that after 3 years of actual work (which makes it completely different than all the others from this video - a real work has been done, at least we know it won’t stay just a KZhead video = living its life only in the Internet), and nowadays in its final stages, there’s no need of talking anything about it. Especially since it won’t have anything to do with EURO 2032! Some like it (most of it), and I would say that given all the (idiotic restrictions) of the Italian laws are putting on stadium redevelopment, then, they got the most of it! Next one: “Cagliari”: What’s to say about this one. Especially since (as a Milan fan) I remember damn well the game played between Cagliari welcoming AC Milan in the last, 38th round of that season (Donnaruma’s first), and how they beat us with a direct goal from a free-kick, and all the reporters, not just the English & Italian & Balkan ones, all of them saying: “What a great way to play & finish a history on a stadium that’s gonna began with its ruining, just before they start rebuilding the new, ultra-modern new stadium. And that was a great sentence, given that the new 30K seater is truly one of the most breathtaking stadiums in this series of new Italian stadiums! But…. Can I only remind you when was that?!? 9 YEARS AGO! F***ING NINE YEARS, and they still hadn’t began with the first brick on the ground! I think it’s about time you take this video & stadium out of all your lists and s**t?!? Then we have Pisa. You know, the town with the famous tower that’s leaning on one side each year, for a few millimeters, for some 900+ years, and it’ll still be there for you to see it in your life span! Oh Yes! They also play football in the town in Italy as well, so they’re actually building a new, small but modern football arena! And finally,, YEEAAAAHHHH - The Most Cosmopolitan City in Italy, Milano - you know, the city where they hanged El Duce aka Mussolini & his mistress (poor thing, given that he had a different one for each day of the year, she surely had bad day…. Of yes, it’s also a city with two giants of European football! But before we start saying anything about it, may I ask the creator of this video: “How old exactly is that clip you’ve inserted it into this whole video about “Future Italian…..”?!? Because I don’t know if you are aware of it, But AC Milan has been working on their very owned (by the club) stadium, exactly at the line which represent the citty limit, at San Donato Area, they already bought the land, went through the first bureaucratic procedures (FC Inter are also in a similar track, although just a bit behind, and after the new plan of the current Milano’s mayor, they seemed to be more open of the idea of reconstructing of San Siro, and as he “promised”, it’ll only coast around 200 million, and it’ll be done only in between 2 seasons, during the summer, when there won’t be any games. And to quote the man: ”It’ll be something quite similar to Real Madrid’s refurbishment, only without the tennis court beneath it, which by the way, it cost Real M. 1,7 billion. But this genius will do it in an extra time and only for 200 million. Well, maybe now it’s getting lear to you how come 1st,Milan, doesn’t believe in any of it and rhey’re continuying with the San Donato, 1,2 billion project, and Inter, although not as sharply as Milan, are pretty much saying the same thing. I mean, the whole idea of building a mew stadium, right next to the old one, owned by the clubs, the way it’s shown in this clip, the very idea and campaign began in 2012,or 2013…. So…. And finally - last but not least = Rome! Now, given the fat that the animation that you’ve seen in the video were completely & officially abandoned 5, 6 years ago, during the previous ownership of Roma, nowadays, we have owners, the big on sports family from Teas with lots of cash but also with many problems with UEFA when it comes hw much could they spent…. But a stadium is a different area. Which is why they are persyuing the idea of building a new stadium, in a different location, and they are doing the whole process quite silently (unlike the previous owners), and also, Lazio are struggling with the same process as well, to finally build their fabulous Aquile New Stadium, which would be probably one of the most beautiful on the continent. So, even we’re keeping them cross fingers! Cuz we truly, and ,for me personally, I truly LOVE ITALY & SERIE A and it’d be a real refreshment to see several new stadiums in that wonderful league, which, unlike LaLiga, that has 2 & ½ teams, Bundes with only Bayern and occasionally one or two more (which is cool, especially this season, with Sttutgard, the new champs that will no longer bear the nickname “NEVERKUZEN”, and a few others, while B. Dortmund is barely hanging for the 4th place, France - not even worth mentioning, so we’re left only with Italy’s: “7 Sisters + Fiorentina”, and there’s EPL with their HOT 6, plus 2 or 3 that could easily take their places! So, even now, when we’re watching Serie A as the 2ns strongest & most interesting domestic league, having a few more new stadiums, that’ll bring quite a lot more money, and make it nearly equal with EPL again. And that’ll only be good for the football in total! Don’t you guys think so?!?

Future polish stadiums?
the reconstruction of Inter's future stadium is the product of much, much imagination. The current Meazza stadium cannot be torn down, because there is a cultural heritage ministry constraint on the second ring. Moreover, even the location of the new stadium that is seen in the reconstruction was never approved by the City of Milan. Inter currently has the option to consider building the stadium in a completely different area respect the current one, but it has not yet submitted any plans. Roma's stadium is the old project that the soccer club has already officially abandoned 3 years ago. The new stadium (if it is built) will be built in a new metropolitan area of Rome, and the design has not yet been unveiled to the public.
