  • The Camp Nou is not accurate, there is a lot more, almost the whole stadium is being demolished, they are building new structure and foundations with underground parking, a new tier of vip boxes surrounding the whole stadium with a 360 LED screen hanging, three huge balcony rings outside which means the stadium is still going to be open in a way, bars and a meuseum. then two huge buildings besides the stadium, hotels, offices, and that is only the first part of the project. The second part is a 600M Basketball arena, a hockey and ice rink and then cafes and club businesses. Espai Barca is the largest and most advanced sporting and urban project in the whole of Europe, its going to be a movie.

    • @@EduSanjuan777 - not sure there's a need to drag in politics to this, mate! But if any region wants to democratically break away from its base nation, surely it has the right? RM and Barça are both super massive, and super successful clubs, but my point was more along the lines that the latter club leads the way in world football when it comes to wanting a stadium with the most (potential) bums on seats come match day. No other team can match it outside of College (American) football. Obviously, RM aren't all that interested to compete on that front as their latest Bernabéu redevelopment brings only an extra 4,000 seats.. not 20,000. It's undeniably going to be a beautiful - and still gigantic - place once done... as will the new Camp Nou.
