Acer is brilliant in performance but last year I didn't consider acer because of its design and build quality although has better weight distribution which helps it to open it with one hand. Absolutely thrilled with this new design!
2 things I like in Acer Nitro. 1) Design is so subtle and yet beautiful no extra shapes and distracting RGB lights. 2) price and upgradeability of Rams, SSDs, HDDs and WiFi modules. I HAVE 2021 MODEL and 4 things I don't like about Acer Nitro 5, two thing I don't like in all Acer laptops. 1) thing is Acer Nitro 5 is fingerprint magnet. 2) it doesn't have adaptive sync screen. 3) Acer Care Center is useless. Lenovo service bridge and Lenovo system update is so easy and has support laptops from early 2010s era. 4) No way to disable Optimus.

I have the 2020 one and 2 things I'd like are: •MUX switch • the little lip thing on the bottom half to help lift the laptop lid The design changes on the back look very nice and THANK YOU for moving ports on the back

I have a Nitro 5 i5 11th gen with 3060 RTX in it and 17.3' screen. Bought it a month a go and so far it's [antastic, hope it keeps up because I love it!
i found the specs and i have to say that this looks like a very solid laptop, especially for that price. ddr5 ram is very nice seeing most laptops right now have ddr4. if there is an option for an rtx 3060 instead of an rtx 3050 ti i would definitely go for that though.

@@bookcasebilly1482 man it's still good. For me , ann 11th gen and 3060 is a sweet spot for best budget gaming for now. Playing that with games at 1080p at medium to high quality may not pose a problem unless your playing at 4k. You should be lucky you didn't buy the ones with 3050 or 3050 ti. It sucks..

i have the acer nitro 5 with a rysen 7 5800H, rtx 3060, 32GB (16GB origally) , 1TB ssd for 1.9K AUD i got it on black friday and it runs perfectly smooths and i can play most games on ultra, i love acer and would buy more of there products.

@@iTzSalami Yo man. I got the computer but I have a question for you since we have the same computer. Are there other options except 3D settings on your Nvidia Control Panel? For me there is only the 3D Settings tab but not the others as we should have. Because I watch some videos which are associated with RTX graphics cards and Those users have other options on their panel. I hope you understand my question. The reason why I ask this is I believe not setting those other options which I don't have effects the fps of the all games more or less

Dude this laptop is insane! I'm even writing with this laptop now! The keyboard on it is so good that I don't even need to buy one separately, I bought it with rtx 4050 and the graphics are insane, it downloads things quickly, it has reasonably large screen and the best part is that, I can take this with me almost anywhere I want! The only issue is that the battery life is a bit short (About 3 hours long if fully charged) but the rest is perfect! Highly recommended!

Yeah Acer with AMD just hits different
AMD processor on Acer Nitro 5 2022 doesn't cover warranty on damage caused by manual or automatic overclocking. So AMD isn't upto to the game with Intel. Not yet.

I bought an acer nitro 5 (2022) last month and it's been doing great i heard that acer nitro has heating problems but i haven't experienced it, i got the 12500H,512 ssd, 16gb ram with rtx 3050. I loved its dual fan and ventilation.
What fan mod do u use?

Would definitely upgrade to 2022 version from my 2019 nitro 5 if the new one has bigger battery, nicer display (colour gammet) and better sounding speakers cuz no other brand provides better price to performance than you. If only you can add MUX switch feature that'd be great! As perfect example: DELL G15 5515 at first didn't have MUX feature but they enable it via BIOS update. Not convenient as toggle it from desktop software but at least we can disable it from BIOS.
