I used that beast for 10 years, upgraded to a MacBook Air in 2017 and now I’m planning to go back to you guys and purchase the Acer Nitro 5 with RGB Keyboard and i7 11th gen. True bro i im in love with Acer since Aspire 1 of 2009. That was my father's laptop. In 2017 i too got macbook but Pro model with touchbar. Its good for music production but i always prefer Dell n Acer over any other brand. They r the kings. Dell is now too expensive so Acer Nitro is reigning the benchmarks in good budget.

Thank you, Team Acer, I wanted this laptop since its release from 2017, but it was not absolutely necessary. Until few months prior, I really needed a laptop for my Engineering Course. Got Acer Nitro 5 2021 model in May 2022 (this year). AN515-57. No complaints at all, very quick, every time I use this, it feels like the first time I was using it. It is a great budget laptop for a budget family. Thank you for making me feel every penny is worth what I paid for. Love you guys, Team Acer Nitro, keep up the work. Now I am diehard fan of Nitro.

@@MYMAA my laptop went out in 6 months, it remained with Acer for 2 months and then I got it back to find out they put a security seal, so I wasnt able to upgrade the ram or insert another SSD and had to send it back to them only to be charged 250 bucks to install the ram and a hdd and it took them a month to install it, so that was 3 months of not having a laptop, and 3 months lost on the warranty.... They are beyond disgusting and I really hope they go bankrupt,

Both are in the same retailer. While the Ryzen has more threads. The coffee lake i5 is better performing in gaming. If you want a current gen price comparison. Here are 2 relatively similar CPU’s. i7-10700k (3990NOK | $462) Ryzen 7 5800X (5049NOK | $545) From my understanding the X versions are similar to the intel K things. Quote me if i’m wrong. But whatever. In this case. Both have same core and thread count but the i7 can be overclocked to 5.1GHz and it’s quite a bit cheaper...
