Please answer: is the RED color on NITRO is pure RED or not so RED like TUF? I have TUF 17" and the RED is not good.

My low end Nitro came with the i5 processor and RTX 3050. Same as the Asus Tuff. The biggest difference was the price. $799 compared to $1100. I actually got the Acer on sale at Best Buy for $699.99

@@Mamykk I really like it, I upgraded the ram card with Samsung 980 Pro. It’s blazing fast, instant start up and apps open right away. For the price I’m very happy with this laptop.

@@greyingenuity5148 ig sometimes 80+ degrees when I play games with max graphics the only thing I hate baout this laptop is that there's no mux switch I need to buy other tuf laptops or rog to get mux switch

U don't need to see benchmark to know that rainbow six siege is no problem for the 3060 + a competitive CPU on highest quality to play with good frames.. Even with a 3050ti u goin good with highest quality in ranbow six siege

"what should I choose" Depends on what is important to YOU. That's why nobody can answer that question for you. By the way: A Notebook has much more criterion than just CPU and GPU.
I would take the nitro in this case, cause his cooling system is better.

the displays on these are HORRIBLE... ! colors are dull and there is very disturbing ghosting

They are both on a similar level but the nitro 5 has a bit better cooling system which is very important in my opinion.

Nitro is better since it has better thermal cooling system. And, if you care about longevity of your laptop, then pick the one with good cooling system, since heat is the number 1 killer of gaming laptops

Asus just fucked itself with PCI gen3 ssd on. Tuf gaming laptops... Just why? It is gaming laptop. Every competitor offering gen4 ssd...

@@gammagrindset6884 Laptop supports gen4 ssd but they are providing gen 3 ssd with it. If you want gen 4 ssd. You have to purchase it yourself. At this price point they could have provided gen 4 ssd...

@@carbmof99 I have a Nitro 5 AN515-58 2022 So it also has a pretty bad battery because it only lasts a few hours for normal non-gaming activities

asus tuf had customer complain for cooling. (from my survey)
Nitro is better if you want for gaming, thermals is one of the most important aspect. As someone who has played alot of heavy games, I can definitely say that the fps above 35-40 is just fine but a hot burning laptop is not fine at all. It damages your laptop and makes it very slow. If you are looking for heavy use like gaming, coding, editing. I would prefer to pick a laptop with a better cooling system rather than a 5-10% performace boost. The performance would be useless when your laptop would be burning at 100°C+
