When Loren Allred went on Britain's Got Talent a few months ago, very few people knew that she was the actual singer of the iconic song NEVER ENOUGH from the movie The Greatest Showman. Her performance won her the golden buzzer, Simon Cowell's heart, and a well-deserved standing ovation!
So, when Loren reached out to me to coach her for her upcoming projects and performances I was honored and floored! Loren is one of the most humble and gifted singers I've ever met and she is always working to become even better.
It was hard to control the tears hearing one of my favorite singers singing one of my favorite songs in this unforgettable carpool karaoke coaching. Enjoy!

    • You have a bit more support when you are sitting. I did a show years ago, and I always practiced my solo in the car. Then I thought, UGH I probably shouldn't have done that. I was blocked to sing the song sitting down, with a child on my knee. It was The Christmas Box from, 'Nuncrackers'. It worked out very well.

I couldn't figure out how that was even possible. Somehow they extracted the emotions from the music and lyrics and transmit it directly to me, the listener.

    • @@ardysontan3119 Well unless you're medically toned deaf which only occurs to 4% of the population or have some sort of vocal injury, singing is a skill that any person can develop. I should know, I couldn't hold tune match a note or even hold my breath long enough to perform well. Now I can do all that and be able to sing in a choir even done a few solos as well as a whole lot more. Singing is composed of a set of skills, if you don't believe me you should take a look at this video. kzhead.info/sun/mLiRabCwkWuPiIk/bejne.html . First and foremost breath control or breath support, is the most important skill. you basically need to retrain how you breathe, normally your chest would rise and fall periodically but you should be breathing from the diaphragm. Also then you need to learn to strengthen your chest voice and learn to distinguish and produce sounds in your different registers reliably as well as how to transition through your passaggio and you also learn about the different vowels and how they affect your voice. You will also be taught music theory how to read dynamics and different elements of music on note sheets and train constantly to different warm exercises using note sheets to guide you. One thing though, and this is important if you want to learn you should really find a professional singing teacher to prevent you from accidentally damaging your voice since if you have any tension at all it can cause strain on your voice and damage your vocal cords.

    • She's a professional maybe, but she definitely needed help. She yelled and pulled a ton, her vibrato and her head voice was sketchy. The falsetto in the end was strained. I could go on but mainly these three intances are the main. Other students of her have been actually corrected and did better after following her stops for advice.

    • @@timotimorrison3448 man you don’t know what you’re saying at all. Falsetto is so loose on the vocal chords and at a low note there’s no way you can strain. I heard a coach say vibrato means it’s free and not strained!! Every singer professional or not has a place in their voice that they have a harder time singing in. Loren is a GREAT belter.

    • @@timotimorrison3448 I noticed some strain and few things here and there. I do think maybe what could’ve resulted in that too was her singing in a car. Honestly even when I’m singing in the I will push here and there. The seating affects your posture which in turn affects your support and also the space inside a car is small. Ive heard Tara Simon another vocal coach on KZhead say that the space in car will affect your singing and lead to being pitchy or flat or straining. I can imagine her voice would be able to move a bit more freely an open area.

It's an ok tune with ok lyrics. But when Miss Allred sings it, it's glorious beyond measure. Furthermore, this version without effects is the best ever and my favorite, bar none.
