She sang with only a few great singers, who invited her because they loved her voice, not because a music label asked them or organized some concerts for her. Be honest, she is a great singer, other great singers at her age (Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand) had sold tents of milions of LP's and given 100'ts of concerts and got some grammyes. In the first four bars you can tell, Loren is an incredible, professional singer. In fact I enjoy the opening verse more than the big diva parts later in the song, because of the expression, the absolutely perfect diction, and the delicate dynamics that signal you are listening to something special. My choir director always said "music is always moving". I've never heard music move so fluidly from lows to highs as in this performance. This was a joy to watch.

I'm glad that the judges didn't start talking right away. They let the crowd carry on for a few minutes and Loren could soak in the cheers and adoration like she deserved to. Then they gave her the golden buzzer and let her have that moment to feel like she finally made it. Finally she's being seen.

I don't think any artist or performance will ever be as deserving of a Golden Buzzer as this. She's genuine, her talent is genuine and real. It's not hidden behind a sobstory, she's doesn't need the help to give her a contract, because she HAS the voice of a 1000 voices, and the song to display it. A superstar deserves a superstar receiving.

@@kevinkasp Loren had a blackout at the start of the song - for a moment she had no idea of where she was and what she was doing, but managed to pull herself back into reality and belt out that performance. Two great singers - I like both versions. I prefer Loren's for the emotion of the occasion and because it was a chance for a talented person to get something back after a lot of tough issues in her life. But to each their own. I'm glad they both walk among us. 😊

I'm sure she "hid from the spotlight" not because she was "more comfortable" doing so but because of contractual limitations arising out of her contract work in the movie.. Either those limitations expired or they were later renegotiated so that now she can reveal that she was the singer in the movie.
She didn’t hide at all. She did the Voice 10 years ago and released music including a duet with Michael Bublé. She needed attention again I guess.

So let's try to see ourselves in her position putting herself out there taking and risking it all. It's been 5 Years since The Greatest Showman was released. She didn't take advantage of her position. Look at Loren Allred KZhead Videos. Although she's done some Great Performances overall in the past. It wasn't until this Audition at Britain's Got Talent that she's Finally getting the Amazing Response overall. Let's be kind and support her and others like her Still Chasing her Dreams.
Loren is competing against amateurs and un known. Loren claimed on BGT, she has always been behind the scene, and that is an out right lie. GOOGLED Loren's name, and there are pages and pages of her paid LIVE performance all over the WORLD including outside the USA, and that was within the last two years, not to mention she put on an act about how nervous she was, but wasn't the least bit nervous when she performed, paid and sung with other famous singers at numerous events, Concerts and theaters, including a contestant on The Voice. This isn't Britain got Professional. What more exposure does she need? What next, Celine Dion auditions on BGT, so she can make a comeback It's not a fair playing field, and not genuine, then again Loren's next competition may be at a County Fair, again claiming she's a nobody playing in events well below her league and experience.

Trust me she ain't anonymous she appears on anything to move her career forward. She does well but never gonna be mega. I think her voice is amazing but I think she has no physical presence when you compare her to a Beyonce or Mariah type.

And in the beginning when she said that she is the voice of thst song in the movie, he was already beyond himself in disbelief that she's on the stage in front of him. It was so moving to watch their reactions. Such an appreciation to music.

@@kelsan5633 I agree. I can't believe no one on that panel knew that Loren sang Never Enough. Google her name or type her name in a You Tube search and she'll pop up. I did not watch her on The Voice US, but when Never Enough became a huge hit, I knew she was the one who sang it.

Of all the years I’ve watched AGT both American and British versions, never have I have heard a song that both brought me goose bumps and tears it was just beyond perfect. We just watched a star being born.

For those of you that think that Loren Allred Acted in the Greatest Showman Movie, She Never Acted in the Movie. She Sang The Song that was recorded for the Movie. The Actress Rebecca Ferguson Who played Jenny Lin The Character she's the one that suggested that Loren Allred sing the song and Jessica Ferguson would be Lip Syncing over the recording. Loren Allred name is only as part of the rest of the Vocal Ensemble You wouldn't know based on the Name Credits who sang what song. Also it's been officially 5 Years since the release of the movie and she's never taken advantage of that situation. She's done a duet with Michael Buble. Watch that Music Collaboration and you'll see how she was discovered. Up until her BGT Audition Loren Allred wasn't a House hold by name that you knew. Only in certain circles maybe Yes but now that she's Audition on BGT Hell Yeah. So she's Very Deserving of The Long Overdue Recognition for her Vocals of that Powerful Song in the Movie. What a Fabulous and Humble Reaction that she seemed to be in awed by the Audience Reaction at the end of her finished audition.

A lot of the people on this show aren't just off the street most of them do a lot of the things that she does they just haven't had the opportunity to do it to the level that she has but these people didn't just come out of the woodwork they are all fairly well-known behind the scenes they just haven't gotten the Big Break
