  • Why has this only got 111 views, much better than any MMA bullshit sniffing each others ass cracks on the floor rolling round bullshit. This is a true test of strength, endurance ect.

    • From a historic standpoint, a tourney Marshall didn't wear armor. They used staves to defend against potential attacks.

  • They should allow people to chose different weapons. HEMA has soo much to it. It be a shame to limmit it to just swords. Imagen the knockout rates with axes. I mean abviously not maces

    • Nick Ceo The armor makes it hard for people to get hurt directly from the swords. Its probably as safe as the ufc or rugby

  • Why do they hold their shield more to the left instead of in front where it covers more?

    • For many reason, mainly because its less tiring smaller shield is in a better position to strike and larger shield actually covers more by holding it to the side

    • When your shield gets hit by a weapon, its more of a glancing blow when its tilted one way or another, if you hold you shield out directly in front of you youre taking more force directly to the shield as opposed to deflecting a blow. You do however want to hold your shield out in a formation of soldiers so as to protect your fellows

    • Normally yes, but the potential to wrestle your way out of being on the bottom while in armor is so small that it would make the rounds and the match much too short
