This was a tough game to watch as a Cowboys fan. I did not want the Patriots to win another one, but I didn’t want the Eagles to win either

the reason it worked so well is after the Patriots stole SB 39 from a historically great Phila team by filming their pre SB practices & the NFL covered it up - Pederson ran Fake practices SB week b/c he knew the Fraud Patriots can only win by cheating so when they called Philly special they knew NE was done
This was one of the best moments in my life. I was at a Super Bowl party, and when we won, my Dad said, "son, I'm so glad that I got to experience this moment with you." One of the most wholesome moments in my life lol

It was an all-time great game. As an Eagles fan, I wouldn't have wanted our first Super Bowl Championship to come against anyone other than the best opponent possible. That was the Pats, and obviously the best QB ever, Brady. The Patriots dynasty was absolutely awe-inspiring to watch. You guys set the bar to an insane standard. I say this with the utmost respect -- it was an honor to beat you guys on the biggest stage. Much love & respect from Philly.

These are the special moments that sports allow us. Since I was a young kid I’d watch every eagles game with my dad. Many amazing memories, the super bowl being the greatest one. He passed suddenly a year later on the first Sunday of the following football season. Will forever be grateful that I was able to watch that game with my dad.
I’m not Philly fans but I love nfl films and this pop up again after watching old niners Super Bowl runs. Man I remember this in real time and had no idea the deep story behind it. Amazing once again
Surreal watching this 4 years later. I remember being a sophomore in high-school. The energy in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas was different than anything I’ve ever felt before. When they won I remember every school shutdown for the parade. Probably one of the coolest moments I’ve experienced.

i was in 6th grade (sophomore in middle school(? lol)), i remember this being the first time I tuned into a football game basically ever because if the eagles won the deadline for my math project would've been pushed back by 3 days it ended up getting postponed by a full week because of how unproductive everyone was following the win

Corey Clement made a perfect pitch on that play. Perfect. Undrafted rookie. 4th down, at the one, in the Super Bowl and he does it perfectly.
Corey made a lot of great little plays.. picking up blitzes special teams tackles and the Philly Philly..
He also had 4 huge receptions for 100 yards. He doesn’t make that huge 3rd down play before HT, no Philly Philly, and NE gets the ball back. He doesn’t secure that TD catch whilst 3x covered, we don’t hold them off. Easily the most unsung hero of SBLII.

Plus the 3rd down play ... But yeah, especially in that moment, it's not as easy a play too execute as it looks ... Give the coaches credit for having them ready, and obviously Nick for the recommendation. Aside from Graham's strip sack, I've never been happier after any play in any sporting event (Ed Reed once had a pick 6 to end a game which won me a bet and a fantasy football game ... I'll always remember that one too).
And they balked at re-signing him this off-season. So glad he's still on the roster. (Future web people this is 2020 aka Worst Year Ever"
Moment that gave me chills, was Nick running up to Doug saying, " You wanna do Philly, Philly?" The momentary pause between player and coach when you can tell trust was duly earned for Doug to say "Yes." We're talking about serious trust to run a trick play during the Superbowl...
Seriously!!!! And I absolutely LOVE that confidence he had for foles and the team! And the thing is, as a player, who the hell wants to let a coach like that down?! This guy believes in me, with all his heart, and I'm about to prove him right! Absolutely brilliant and just truly awesome to see man and I'm in no way a phillies fan! 💪🏽🙏🏽

As a eagles fan this was one of the best days of my life I remember hearing from my father who said he may not even see a Superbowl in his life time. This was beautiful
I love how Doug showed LB the play and he smiled from ear to ear. Doug had those boys ready and locked in.

I always loved how, when Foles approached Peterson at the sideline, Peterson went from total confidence in the play he wanted to go with, to having total confidence in what his quarterback wanted to do in the span of two seconds. The very definition of a coach trusting his player.

I'm not an Eagles fan, but the 2017 Eagles were something special. Such a blast to watch, and going back and hearing the audible for the Philly Special still gives chills 5 years later. Nick Foles and Doug Pederson got to prove themselves, bring home the trophy to a city that desperately needed it, ad gave us the best Super Bowl ever
The cinematography on that play was absolutely INCREDIBLE. Had to rewatch a couple times with how dope it looked
Foles is simply a legend.
Nick had been running that play since he was 8 years old in Pop Warner football in Westlake (West Austin area). During high school he was 5 for 5 with 5 touchdowns. And he was an All-Region point guard for 3 years on the basketball team so he had GREAT hands. That play had 95% chance of success.
This still makes me emotional. Love my EAGLES🦅

Crazy story. Watched the super bowl with my dad and remember rooting for the eagles the whole way and watching that final play after it hit the ground, I was filled with so much joy. It’s wasn’t even an eagles fan but wanted a crazy upset. One of the greatest games I have ever watched.
I have been a Philly fan since 98. This video gives me chills and I hope we can do it again this year. We have a tall task ahead but I think we're genuinely one of the best teams in the league

Brandon Pallanes he took 3 or 4 steps with control before diving, that is when the ball hit the ground and popped up in the air. That means that it was was a catch then and still is today.

I remember right before this play everyone(the announcers) was saying..."get the 3 points". And I remember telling my wife(this is the only game she ever watched with me and showed interest in) they need to go for it. I always believed in Nick Foles.

Something I really like about the Philly Special play call is that when Foles tells the rest of the team to play, you can see Jason Kelce start nodding. He knows that it’s going to work.
This hard working Eagles roster and coaching staff is something every NFL fan should put respect on.
Doug is one of the best in the business to me. 3x nfc east champ, only eagles super bowl champ, and has been coaching a team massacred by injuries the past 2 years
looking at the debbie downers who ignorantly complain about his coaching in 2020 -- tied for first in the NFL for most IR players.
I was fortunate enough to be at the Elliot 61 yard game, the divisional round game, and NFCCG that year. What an amazing season that cements this team in history.

As a Jags fan I can only hope that coach Pederson brings some of that magic to Jacksonville. I think he's got us going in the right direction and I love what he did with the leadership council on the Eagles taking their suggestions and making them happen. I haven't heard whether he's done the same in Jacksonville or not, but I hope he does. Seems like a great way to get the team to work together.

Overall, I’d say you guys had a pretty good season. A playoff birth and wild card win no one expected. A few things that need to be tuned up, loss to the chiefs was hard, but considering Kansas is in the Super Bowl right now, I’d say Jacksonville has hope.

Blount was so amazing during this season, i know this film is about the philly special and nick foles is forever a legend in philly! but i need to mention the amazing running game we had with blount + ajayi + clement. blount in particular was amazing during the playoff run, and i believe he had 2 scores in the superbowl.
And the fact Blount won the previous year with New England, wanted to resign with them and they didn’t sign him. So he signs with us and got to put up 2TDs and win against the team that let you go has to be a great feeling 💯

As a "die hard" Philly fan, for almost my entire life... I didn't miss a second of the playoffs. As a veteran Philly fan, during every single one of those games... I said out loud, "They're not going to win... there's no way they're going to win." at least 20 or 30 times. And I probably said it more during the Super Bowl. It was the most magical Super Bowl I've ever watched.
