I personally feel the hook and lateral by Boise State against Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, to tie it up with no time left, was really impressive. Followed by the Statue of Liberty play in overtime... great trick plays. Really memorable game to watch.

As a Colts fan, I can verify that onside-kick by the Saints changed the entire flow of that game. It was never going to be one-sided, but the Colts were in the driver's seat at halftime. When the Saints recovered that kick, we never recovered.
@TheDroneGeek2 жыл бұрын
Technically, and according to the video, the colts got the ball and were on the ground with possession. According to the rules he was down and in possession when touched by an opposing player. It was stripped after he was down. Just an unbiased opinion from a fan of neither team. Apparently replay does not count on on-side kicks.

Whenever i see that play, I just remember Pat McAfee's solo onside kick vs. the Texans that one time.

i like the 2nd to last one where they use the personnel change to hide the receiver on the sideline. 10 people came onto the field and 10 left, but 11 went toward the sideline, pretty smart I wonder if you could even pull that off in the NFL without them noticing

Thanks! Those were really fun! My favorites, though, would be the playing like the punt was to the left, and the real guy receiving it is all the way on the other side of the field. I still can't believe that worked! :). Just beautiful. And the other favorite was the "camouflaged" receiver in the end zone, lying down the turf which was of course same color as his uni. Another beautiful idea. Just wicked!

I think that's arguable - they only line up with 10 players in the center of the field; can't tell from the video, but I think they did a full replacement of on-field players. That the defense didn't notice the 11th man is their mistake.

I personally feel the hook and lateral by Boise State against Oklahoma in the 2007 Fiesta Bowl, to tie it up with no time left, was really impressive. Followed by the Statue of Liberty play in overtime... great trick plays. Really memorable game to watch.
Agreed.
And then the dude proposed, I remember watching that
Agreed. 💯 Great Game. Glad Boise State Won Too.
That was a great game, and the ending you describe was extraordinary.
one of the greatest games to watch
As a Colts fan, I can verify that onside-kick by the Saints changed the entire flow of that game. It was never going to be one-sided, but the Colts were in the driver's seat at halftime. When the Saints recovered that kick, we never recovered.
@@JoeGator23 Nah...the Colts never established possession. A Saint had his hnad around the ball the same time the Colt player jumped on it...then a Saint dove in and broke it up
@@joemarshall4226 I think colts #81 had both hands on the ball and was touched, therefore down. After that he was mugged because he never pulled the ball to his body.
@@JoeGator23 Having both hands on the ball is not enough to claim possession.

What’s crazy is when the Steelers did the fake spike, the cowboys somehow managed to get All the way down the field and won. Definitively one of the best regular season games of all time.
Honestly wondering why the Bosie State Broncos aren't on this. They used so many trick plays to such a deadly degree to win some big games. For example vs Oklahoma the hook and ladder as well as one of the most beautiful statue of liberty plays of all time.

Coach Jeff Fisher of the Rams was very inventive with trick plays (such as 2:33 ) and stung my Seahawks a few times: In one game Rams had two successful fake punts, the second of which was from their own end zone!
i like the 2nd to last one where they use the personnel change to hide the receiver on the sideline. 10 people came onto the field and 10 left, but 11 went toward the sideline, pretty smart I wonder if you could even pull that off in the NFL without them noticing

Hey Andrew King
Yeah, I totally loved that one! I mean, who would even think that up in the first place? HAHA! :)
I love how the kicker bobbled the pass but then got it under control and ran for a touchdown. Love that extra bit of drama and suspense there..

11:25 looks like a Trojan-Horse play, which I thought was illegal.
steve b No; that's what gave me pause to wonder.
It is illegal under rule 9-2-2-b: "No simulated replacements or substitutions may be used to confuse opponents. No tactic associated with substitutes or the substitution process may be used to confuse opponents"
I think that's arguable - they only line up with 10 players in the center of the field; can't tell from the video, but I think they did a full replacement of on-field players. That the defense didn't notice the 11th man is their mistake.
If I'm not mistaken, that game was before that rule went in to effect.
Amir Brooks also, the defense is now allowed time to substitute and set for an offensive sub.

It just looks good in the thumbnail that’s why he used it.
was ready to yell "CLICK BAIT!!!!!"
That skinny kicker from LSU running for his life is my favorite.
Best trick play was when Seattle threw the ball to Malcom Butler!! Those tricky Seahawks........
K B love this comment
wow so original
sehawks suck 10/10 true lmao
WOW I HAVEN'T SEE THAT BEFORE(SUPER SARCASTIC)
Lol
7:31 ITS PHILLY PHILLY
No, it's Cristiano Ronaldo
crazy that even though the steelers scored in the last minute, zeke ran it in for the win after lol
Love this compilation. So frustrating when used in your favorite team though lol. First time watching your vids but I must say I like it
America owns the world. We are allowed to call a game football and another one soccer. And you all have to like it. Deal with it.
Joseph Wackes you forgot 😎😎 to throw shade. Lol
Rest of the world calls it NFL as theres only one serious league and then “college football” for the university stuff
Ends with the Butt Fumble XD
The infamous butt fumble at the end 😂
That Rams special teams on the punt is really unique I don't think I've seen that before nor since
The Super Bowl XL touchdown pass from Antwaan Randle-El to Hines Ward is a glaring omission.
Yeah. We didn't need to see the Patriots pass 3 times either.
thank you!!!!!
This is basically just "The Most Recent Trick Plays in Football (with a couple classics sprinkled in)."
TheGhostInYourBasement fuck u what's wrong with the patriots
They cheat and the same play was shown three times the video, once is enough..
Ahhh "the butt fumble" classic. I've seen it a million times & I laugh EVERYTIME.
The camo play was epic
The whole time the kicker is running he's like: O No, O No, O No
Run Forest Run!!!
Wtf
When
Like the sumo dude in that movie The Replacements! Just kept saying "Holy shit! Holy shit! Holy shit!" The whole time he had the ball 😂
i was laughing hard at the camouflage trick XD
He's in the blend zone lol
A 35 yard return... that's one of the greatest trick plays in football history? BFD.
Same
Yeah I was not expecting to see any KU football clips, my town lol ROCK CHALK
I wonder if thats legit or some illegal stance or some shit?
*I loved watching this FOOTball on my dumb-phone. Thank you MYtube for having such a great content."*
The fake punt return is the best. Rarely do I ever laugh out loud at a trick...
I didnt realise you could do half of these things in football, makes me think that there is a better way to play
JustOneLonelyKZheadr there is it’s called rugby
Yep😂😂😂
@@KDddd203 rugby is balls
I'm a Jets fan... the butt fumble still hurts...
butt fumble...lmfao big time. only the Jets could do that..lmfao
It was awful. But yeah, I can't help but laughing at this lmao. I wonder who got the forced fumble on the stats
What's the butt fumble??
13:04 Mark Sanchez (former Jets QB) tries to run with the football, but he dives head first to the backside of Brandon Moore and fumbles the football. This is known as the "Butt Fumble" because it was caused becuase of Sanchez hitting the other guy's butt. Awesome play design by the offensive coordinator
Nicolas Martins Ah, now I know. Thanks man.
That bama was literally laying down in the end zone I'm doneeeeeeeee😂😂😂
The Butt Fumble at the end just for fun. Love it!
4:02 "I'm sneaky!"

No Boise St v Oklahoma?
Those are amazing goals.
Deonte said you can't see me, but I can see you 🙈🤣
I can only assume that understanding the rules of American football would assist in making these seem more impressive.
Reasonable assumption. Just as understanding the rules of chess would assist in appreciating a brilliant gambit, or knowing how to play the piano would assist in appreciating the virtuosity of the performance of a Rachmaninoff concerto. You have stated a tautology. And I have commented upon it. I don't know which of us is worse. ;-)
Trev Moran Not being an idiot would also help.
Hot? Who's hot? Are you sure? It's how I've been getting by my whole life.
Dont try to comprehend the rules, write some hateful comment about how much you hate it and stuff :D
You need to get the egg ball to the other side. Then there is a touch down. Cut to commercials.
If I was living in America, this has to be my favourite sport!
Really
good on you
boooo
nice of you
the best sport
If that Michigan straight line is a trick play so is everytime a team huddles up. They literally stood in a straight line and ran a solid run play 🤣
The final trick play makes this a wait til the end moment
4:35 when you just don't even know anymore...

when Antonio brown got to the end zone he stopped moving then the ref came and Antonio brown moved and it scared the ref
Haha i knew sanchez and the buttfumble would make this highlight reel
4:37 “Wtf happened?”
As an old Dolphin's fan I remember the hook and ladder play that the Dolphins ran against San Diego in '83 very well...many years later I read someone's biography (Maybe Strocks?) and it was stated that when Shula called that play the players were like WTF? You have to be kidding us? We haven't run that play since training camp and it has no chance to work....pretty neat how it went for a TD....the genius of Shula.
@steve hello, how are you doing
