  • I think taking 15 kindergarten/first graders fishing without any major incidents qualifies you for a level of sainthood. For kids that have parents that don't have time/ don't know how showing them how to fish is truly a beloved memory and it warms my heart that you are sharing that. My mom is probably the busiest person in the world and my dad is disabled so having adults show me kindness and teach me things outside of school was very rare and incredibly meaningful.

      @Speed99999@Speed9999923 күн бұрын
    • @@Speed99999 I'm not complaining, it's just a fact of life that my dad wasn't able to be a father to me and that's ok. Unfortunately your suggestion to just use modern tech to "fix" him isn't nearly that simple, his problems are almost entirely psychological and I doubt he will ever be different. Why do you feel like I'm complaining in my comment about the positive impact of taking kids fishing? Mentioning my parents was only to exemplify that not all parents have the time or capabilities to spend time with their kids outside and how meaningful it can be for them to have these experiences that they otherwise would miss out on

  • If you still have persistent cloudiness in the small pond, attach 6' piece of 2" pvc to the end of the hose. Turn. The hose on, and drive the pipe into the gravel in the wetland filter, loft it to the surface, and repeat as needed. Works great. Used to build ponds for a living, and that was always the fastest way to clean gravel

  • Big fan of the series but I would love to see you use large swimbaits to test the aggression of your fish and maybe catch Bonnie and Clyde along the way.

  • What a fun video. I would think in roughly two years, this will be a really fun bass/bluegill pond. Add this to #1 on my list of things I'd do if I had a million dollars (or two). It's interesting to see that you were able to keep trout in this lake. And, it's finally nice to see FFS used in a healthy, educational manner, rather than a shameless, crutch for "professional" anglers. What a beautiful piece of land you have.
