Making a Serene Waterfalls Mini Ecosystem Lake (Feeder Goldfish Sanctuary)

Several years ago, I began planning to build a large pond for my goldfish. more specifically, something I could swim in with them. Various circumstances pushed the project back. However, late last year I began planning for it once again and I'm happen to finally share it with you.
I couldn't have done this along, though. Thanks to @EdThePondProfessor @TEAMAquascape @AquaticEdge and many other for helping me bring this dream to fruition. Enjoy!

    • This is the prophecy about the second coming of Jesus Zechariah 13:7 “Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the LORD Almighty. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones. The Shepherd here is Jesus. John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. This is the fulfillment of the prophecy. Matthew 26:31 Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “’I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ This happened near 30 AD. Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. In prophecies 1day is equal to 1000 years. Which means after two thousand years Jesus will return again. And on the third day which is the 3rd millennium, we will live in his sight. We all know we cannot see God's face and live on Earth. So it's the second coming of Jesus. Luke 21:11 ► There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. We are the witnesses of all these things. From the death of Jesus to 2030 there are 2000 years. Jesus is coming soon. Let's all repent and turn from our old ways and turn to the Lord. Praise the Lord. Peace and Love to you all Easter is pagan, the resurrection day of the Lord is correct and please stop taking the Lord's name in vain like saying omg or using it with a bad word or taking it in anyway that is in vain. Even the devil trembles in his name and we shouldn't use the powerful name like that. For the people who says Jesus is not God here's a verse. Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. God bless you all. Please spread this message to the ends of the world

  • I rescued a common goldfish and named him Bobby. He was a huge horse trough goldfish that someone dumped in the chlorinated pond outside my work. Our security guard fished him out and I took him home and a few days later I bought him a 50-55 gallon tank. Unfortunately he still wasn’t happy he was probably a pond fish so he was stressed and upset. So I re-homed him to a friend with a pond with other goldfish. He is now happy with some girlfriends! Bobby was a very handsome boy, I didn’t have him long but I still think about him all the time.

  • Looking forward to seeing this in a year! Like you, I also built a pond for goldfish (and moss). 3 years into it, moss now covers almost 90% of the perimeter, and my goldfish have grown in population 5 fold. I also have 5 koi, because once you get one, you fall in love with their personalities. I never thought I would be a koi person but they're just so cool and curious about their world, especially when young. Mine love to swim into the shallow areas and beach themselves on rocks to get the tiniest bits of edible plants out of reach. Its adorable to watch! And the goldfish also show some interesting personalities. One of mine loves to sleep on a particular flat rock with a small indentation in it, like a little bed, in the middle depth of the pond. It is so interesting to see animal behavior in a naturalistic setting. Goldfish become so much more interesting in a natural pond than a glass box.

  • My friend, you are an inspiration. I haven't been a follower for very long (I've only recently learned about recreational terrarium building) but have been interested in building natural swimming pools. This video beautifully and elegantly blends the two together. I will be rewatching this video for years to come. Thank you for sharing this. Can't wait to see updates on this!
