I do hope they put in 4070 super or Ti in the regular models just to provide a bit more juice for architecture and 3D students cus pro 7i feels a lot more gamer aesthetic and a bit heavier for what you wanna carry around
I use this for gaming and work (gen 8) and it really doesn’t look like a gaming laptop at all, especially when you turn the rgb off, which I usually do. It is on the heavier side though (6 lbs I think) but for the specs and screen size that’s a given. As for the 4070S/Ti, unfortunately nvidia said they’re not issuing any new gpus for laptops.
And there is no shell RGB lighting at all? Only keyboard?

I am a pro 7i gen 8 user, with almost the exact same cpu named 13900hx, gpu is 2x more powerful with 4090m, the 330w gan adapter is smaller than the huge 300w brick and around the size of aw 330w and razer 330w, and l9 also used it too, it is highly likely that this laptop will use the 330w brick instead
The 300W adapter gets a bad rep, but it's in fact very versatile. It can be used as a mouse pad in a pinch, or to keep one's feet warm during cold winter months. /s

The January 3, 2024 specifications do not match with the model in the video. I saw 2022 Legion 7 model render with RTX 3000 series GPUs in the specifications sheet.

They carefully placed exactly the necessary ports on the back and made a mini rj45 on the side so as not to spoil the design - well done. But it’s time to remove this protrusion above the webcam - this is what spoils the design. And it is advisable to reduce the touchpad so that it does not extend beyond the “space” area. A large touchpad is good when it is in the center, but when the large touchpad is moved under the left hand, you involuntarily touch it with your left hand - this is inconvenient and ugly from a design point of view.
