Zelda is the only game I will make sure I make time to play on my busy schedule. When I play, it's like I'm a kid again playing the old games. Beautiful feeling.
I love Zelda too but BotW was so boring. TP and WW are by far better
@xTheOriginalAce agreed. And this will be worse. This is too far a departure from the old games. A car? A hovercraft? I'm looking to play a high fantasy game, not minecraft in creative mode. Thanks to all the soyboys who showed up and creamed themselves over the "science" aspects of BOTW, you destroyed a series I've loved for over 20 years.
@Jolu42 yup... already have it scheduled... lol
@@cuchulainnenjoyer Personally I liked BotW and all the other Zeldas I've played too. BotW was my fourth zelda game so I guess I'm biased but no need to insult people who like it. It sucks that BotW kinda overshadowed the old formula and alienated fans of that style of Zelda but hopefully they at least bring back dungeons. It also looks like they're increasing enemy variety.
@@xTheOriginalAce I loved all 3 personally.

@supremeleaderfrancisco9062 That's the point. It's meant to be the remnants of a long gone civilization with some creatures, Ganon minons and scattered ruins of old civilizations with treasures and materials you can't find in the above ground areas and some of the temples being found here.
This did make me tear up. I can't believe we got to hear Ganondorf talk for the first time! So much to unpack in just this trailer.

I swear that’s Matt Mercer. Which is perfect for Ganondorf
Do we know that's Ganondorf?

He sounds like yami yugi
Ever since I completed Breath of the Wild I've understood what people meant when saying "I wish I could see/play/read .... for the first time again" it was such a magical game to me, who knew absolutely nothing about any Zelda game before playing and is now an enthusiastic fan of the series. I feel like this game will make me feel the same way again, and am absolutely looking forward to it!
I had already played Ocarina of Time when I was a kid, but aside from that I felt exactly the same way. I am a 33 year old grown man, and the game had me giddy as a kid during christmas. It was crazy. I would sit down to play at 6 pm and suddenly it was 6 am the next time I looked at the clock. All my responsibilites when out the window for 2 weeks. I had no idea that the game would absolutely blow me away like that. It felt more like something that was happening to me, rather then me making the choice :P
Same! I think they're keeping a lot under wraps to achieve that very thing and blow our minds. Ppl are hung up on it originating from dlc as if that's all it'll amount to for $70.
@@lawlietriver8869 oh I am 30. I do feel like ocarina of time was the best in the series, together with the windwaker. I remember playing ocarina of time as a young child. it’s so cool to see how the botw brought in new fans to the base 🥹 i’m 21 but i’ve loved all the games twighlight princess being my favorite! but when botw came out? it was TOTALLY new! no one had ever played this way on a zelda game! so fun !!
I felt this way about Xenoblade chronicles 2, as far as being able to play it for the first time again.

0:25 - 0:30, 5 seconds. The Depths, a complete mirror of the lands of Hyrule above gets only 5 seconds of advertisement time, and I love it. Any other triple A developer would not waste the chance to show off something that doubles the size of the game, but Nintendo intentionally kept it a secret so that we the players would naturally discover it and learn its mysteries for ourselves. Easily the greatest game to come out this year.
Easily they could add “Depths” in DLC and pull tons of money
Lol. So true. Took me a while to go to the depths cuz I was so intimidated by it and it spooked me the first time I got there lol. I’m having a hard time completing the depths map at 205 hrs now lol but finally have a lot of zonai so I will just fly myself to each light root.

Wait it's been six years???
@@_kirbmaster_6609 yes lol I've been waiting for this game longer then I've been a highschoolet
I can’t wait to play this !! Breath of the Wild was amazing with the Shrine quests, the soundtrack and exploring all of Hyrule. I hope the new game is just as good. 😊😊
Brooo the hype i got from these trailers were unreal and i had so much playing and still do!
I am so happy for the hints of a cave system! Wouldn't be surprised at this point if Nintendo adds an underwater world as well but keeps it secret! And finally so many new monsters!
I am PRAYING for an underwater world agggh it would be SO cool!!
No to water levels
maype de zoras make one becouse of the danger?
Lol, a cave is making you happy? Just a cave... What about dungeons? Literally anything a Zelda game was known for before BoTW stripped it down to a gimmicky physics exploration game :(
@@MasterRoshi69 an EMPTY exploration game.
1:53 did anybody get the chills of the final symphony!? The triangle, horns, bells and drums! Oooo Got chills running down my spine!!! Let's go Hyrule!
Sounds like the glitch effect they used in twilight Princess at 1:50 1:56 when you fought as wolf link. Don’t know if they’re hinting something 🧐
@@kenoguitar41 my gosh keno you are correct sir, as a producer myself I can definitely hear the connection. Hmmm their up to something haha
I got chills for each and every scene
@@kenoguitar41 sounds like someone’s saying “it’s over”
@Darius Bostic my brother in christ you’re preaching in nintendo comments
this music is so so good. and the villain looks just absolutely incredible
Idk we haven’t seen this guy before, let’s not jump to conclusions
@@pit4807lol
@@pit4807 yeah we have
@@klenstdp1737 No, we’ve never seen a Gerudo male wielding dark magic, a forehead jewel, and eternal hatred before. The Zelda series is going to new places!
@@pit4807 well not in that form, but it’s clearly ganondorf in his physical form and he usually is a very good part of the games he’s in
1:19 Can't wait for the Game Awards orchestra to play this song in December
Wow...We haven't seen Ganondorf since Twilight Princess, and up to that point, all we've heard from him were grunts, laughs and yells, it's so cool to finally hear him speak, and he sounds a lot like I pictured he would.
It isn’t cool to hear him speak imo. Ganondorf was way more intimidating in text, this voice just sounds corny and anime like. Honestly Nintendo adding voices to Zelda was a silly decision.
@@UltimateFeudEnterprise no
@@UltimateFeudEnterprise meanwhile, pokemon fanboys still upset that they wont give those games voices. Nintendo cant please everyone, so stop pretending like your opinion is universal.
@@UltimateFeudEnterprise I can understand some people might think it sounds corny, when there's only text to read, you can make up whatever voice you want for the character in your head, but once they get an actual voice actor for them, that becomes their definitive voice, you can't imagine it for yourself anymore, and not everyone is going to be happy with it because it wasn't what they pictured. I think it sounds great personally, I think all the voice actors did a great job in Breath of the Wild, and I'll be excited to hear the returning actors, as well as the new ones in Tears of the Kingdom.
@@UltimateFeudEnterprise I like Ganondorf’s voice but I totally agree with you. I switched the voice track to Japanese because at least then I can’t tell how cheesy the dialogue sounds out loud.
1:58 this shot of Ganondorf looking directly at Link all bent over backwards while his malice leaves his body gives me the shivers
I especially like how malice created new eyes for him, since he's so ancient and decrepit to the point where he no longer has natural eyes anymore
1:12 The guy they've shown before looks a lot like Yuga from Between Worlds. Look at the headpiece, earrings, and necklace. I hope it's him in some way or another teaming up with Ganon again.
@@kyles2540 Nah that's Ganondorf, look at the Gerudo symbols on his jewlery
It leaves me in shivers that link had to drop the master sword
@@jockson7574 i mean we need a way that we dont have it so they can restart us. Like it doesent make sense to start us with the master sword even after the fact some games start you with it.
I just realized that the "lend him your power" is probably Zelda praying to the Goddesses, she prayed at the springs pre-calamity and they could use this as a way to introduce the triforce into this section of the timeline.
I can’t believe that this was already a whole year ago
and i’m still here watching this again
@@DamnRizzz same lol
Damn I love this so much Ganondorf's proper voice, creating vehicles for both sky and land, new weapons, new abilities, new bosses, new enemies and new areas to explore this is really the upgrade we've been looking forward to seeing
Shuv up
honestly i think its demise
Bro the voice is trash. Doesn't fit at all
@@moafighting1597 I thought Ganon was just a reincarnation of Demise?
@@stufffstufffington he is, he's like a "land-friendly" version of demise (I don't really know how to put it lmao)
Can we take a second to appreciate the music team for setting the mood so well and hyping us up
@@MossMothMyBeloved Pretty sure it's a bot. They're not gonna respond.
Hopefully the actual open world environment will have a musical score this time
@@sam9708 i dont hope for that, itll get annoying, having the overworld themes be simplistic fits the mood more, though having some more complex themes for certain areas whether it be land underground or sky would be awesome
@@sam9708 it did have one. It was sparse and lonely, like most of the game, until you discover something interesting or fight an enemy. I don’t think this game is going to be as quiet and post apocalyptic as the last so we will probably get some more energetic upbeat music.
@Darius Bostic God hates proselytizers.
0:43 Final boss music. 1:08
This trailer came out 2 months ago and I'm just seeing it today?? WTF, I'M SO JAKKED FOR THIS GAME!!!!
Fell in love with Breath of the wild and played it till my eyes were red. I'm so ready to do it again
I played Botw and my corneas were no more

3 more months and Ganon finally got a voice actor! I like how they kept all the environments from Breath of the Wild. I can't wait to play it!

"kept the environments" bruh relax it's literally the same map and game except with sky islands and a bunch of new enemies

Same!
Hey
same!!!
ME TOO. AND THIS COME OUT A FEW DAYS AFTER MY BIRTHDAY TOO
No matter how old I get this series keeps getting more and more amazing
I don’t know, I didn’t see a single temple or large dungeon in this preview. I’m going to wait for the game to come out to see if they have that. If they don’t, I’m not buying it
I’m a Zelda game, I expect at least seven large dungeons/temples, minimum. (Preferably, 8 or 9. Like OOT had.)
@charlesg7926 eyyyyyy thats all I need confirmation of for a buy, give me some traditional dungeons man I need it in my life 1 or 2 key items would be awesome too I think
can people stop crying about dungeons and accept the fact Zelda is changing from their roots ?
@@racisttr2660 Nah some changes are just mistakes.
All these MS/Sony arguments mean absolutely nothing when zelda enters the arena. This is 100% taking GOTY.
Pretty gutsy how they played the *_FINAL BOSS THEME_* in this trailer.
I love how Nintendo is very VERY clearly holding back on how much they’re showing us. It’s so painfully obvious from how little they show us and how small and vague all the descriptions of the story and game in general are that we are in for a treat in a half when we find everything out for ourselves
Hope it's not like Hyrule warriors. People were expecting one story and got something completely different.
@@kickrockser this is a different type of game, though. The mechanics of Hyrule warriors was pretty obvious from the previews.

Botw will always be soo near and dear to my heart. The fact that we have a Zelda game with 100’s of hours of gameplay is just astonishing and the open world direction was the right move. To say I’m excited for tears of the kingdom is an understatement.
Perfectly said man
I can’t wait for the full version on the theme. It sounds so beautiful
Yes I want our school band to play some Zelda music
If it even is in the game at all. Breath of the Wild had some great music in the trailer that wasn't in the game.
@@Rhubarb120 This theme has played in two trailers now so I would be surprised if it wasn't used in the game at least once
@kinoko im wondering in what context the theme is used. The first game it was the opening and it wasn't even the full theme, but it gave you the feeling of how vast the world is. This feels more mysterious, dangerous, and adventurous.
@@Yellowredstone That's an interesting question. I also wonder if the theme from the last trailer (the one sounding like Spirited Away) would be used in the game. It's a really amazing sounding theme and I'm excited about the cutscene that it might appear in.
