Our local station originally refused to play “ghost” till a group of us decided to request it until they did lol, it actually worked! They couldn’t deny the numbers, I will keep the fight up for any independent artist, I respect what Tom has done, he is a true artist, not just in music, a story teller (ghost story sounded just as good as Mr Ballen) and an actor!

Tom’s music has been with me through some of the toughest times of my life. I hope the radio helps more people get to know him so that they can also have an outlet when things get bad and a family like HOG to back eachother up.

I’m a soon to be 55 year old retired security contractor with three runs in Afghanistan, one year in Somalia, and my retirement year in Yemen. Tom McDonald is famous for many reasons but my favorite other than the fact that he is one of the greatest artists, he also interacts with his fans. I'm a prime example of that. I did a cover of Ghost on my Instagram and he responded twice to both recordings I did. Nova is incredible as well because she loves her fans. Nova went live the other day and interacted with me along with so many other people as well. Artist that love and respect their fans are 100% the greatest and deserve every blessing they get.

You are absolutely so gorgeous. I love the braids and tattoo's and just all of it. I don't like rap music. Changed my mind. For me, what made your songs more credible isn't the obvious fact you aren't on some major record label but, the fact that the TWO of you (Nova) together are on the same path, the same passion , the same dream. The answer to why you are famous is many reasons Tom. First, you make killer music. Second, you are very relatable and many, many people connect to you through your music as it's a story of your life and struggles. People relate to that. Third, you appreciate and acknowledge the people who got you where you are, us the fans and don't have that typical celebrity attitude towards us. I'm pretty sure if I met you in public, you wouldn't act like I was a bother if I said hi to you and asked for an autograph, as long as I wasn't being all pushy or weird about it. Fourth, you didn't sell out to the record label demons and showed that you didn't need to make a deal with the devil to be successful. There are many more reasons but, you get my point. Much respect to you and Nova.
