Man, I just love Nick Kyrgios. His matches are always something else. Thanks for giving us this piece of tennis magic!
@@Seforis-er2oc everyone whiffs shots sometimes
If only he actually put some effort in every time he steps onto the court.
@@Seforis-er2oc lmaoo you’re mad. go watch some rafa and cry more
@@Seforis-er2oc so one shot determines if you're a tennis player or not? what's your definition of a tennis player? i'm curious.
@@Seforis-er2oc Ok...you lost me with the classy and/or feminine woman comment, don't know how it validates your definition of a tennis player. You've shown good examples of players you've mentioned but to call Nick kyrgios and Gael Monfils a clown is disrespectful to the tennis community.
Just makes you wish Andy Murrays hip had stood the test of time. Absolutely excellent player at his peak. Double Wimbledon champion US Open Winner and twice gold medalist. A true Scottish legend. 👍
And Davis cup !
I remember that this an a Murray v. Dimitrov at the US were my favorite matches to see the difference between a flashy talented player against a incredible professional hard working one
Murray was one of the most talented tennis players of all time. Being flashy is something he could do in his sleep...
Kyrgios's forehand is really something here !
we need the two of them to play doubles consistently would be class
Two of them vs Monfils + Brown.
I cant remember seeing anyone showing so much resilience on every point as Andy Murray… the injury taking him off the courts has been so undeserving, i feel like he’s the one who’s always been working the hardest. Look at him sweating his balls off seriously, i feel so frustrated for him. He’s won many titles but i feel like he deserved to win more
He was also unlucky to be in his prime with Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic in theirs’.
Has he been really unlucky with his hip stress or was the writing not on the wall. If a game is so pyhsical each and every match you play don' t you then pay the price after 10 years of Pro Tennis almost consistently in the Top Ten?! He has quite some weight to carry around and the mileage he has made every match has just been too much!
You are arguably the goat at video intros
Sir Andy is an Olympic legend! I like his game and I'll be missing him on court when he retires.

ah yes my favorite intro on youtube
I was at this match. The whole crowd loved watching Kyrgios
There are many reasons why Murray was world no1 before his hip gave up.
Mainly the fact that he played every single tounament that he could in autumn 2016, when Djoko was having a rest. This got him to No.1, for a total of 41 weeks. It also completely broke him physically, resulting in all the injuries, surgeries and time out of the game ever since then. So, he did get to No.1, but at what cost?! He was a decent player, and the best the UK has produced EVER, but nowhere near the level of Djoko, Fed or Rafa, as their records show. I think he should retire from singles, play doubles for a few more seasons, where he may have some slight success then retire gracefully from public life. Please don't let him anywhere near the commentary box.
@@zeee149 He was more than a decent player. Decent players don't do what he did in the game, they languish around the top 100. Murray was possibly a top 20-25 all timer, with most of his records (ATP Tour wins, win%, his grand slam record, Masters tournament wins) being top 10-15. His only issue being that he had the 3 best tennis players of all time to compete against, in their respective primes, and thus "only" won 3 grand slams.
@@paulcoffield2102 murray really had it all. The best defense, return, and backhand. His serve was really good too. + 2 gold olympic medals
@@zeee149 lol, who said he is near the level of Big 3. The way these 3 have played over the years, they are not near to anyone. Had Murray played in any other era, he would have easily won 7-8 GS and regarded as one of the all time best. And don't forget it was Djokovic whom Murray defeated in WTF final to ensure his year end no. 1 rankings.
@@zeee149 Shut up
It is a pitty that Kyrgios does not take tennis more seriously. With a little more consistency he could be a top-five. He is so talented.
It is such a shame he doesn't take it seriously he could be so good he has so much talent!
Yeah I think if he trained enough he wouldn't be weaker than Zverev Tsitsipas or Medvedev at all
I think it's inspirational, that you can be world class at something without taking it seriously at all
Yeah but he seems so much happier now
@@gladman9634 agree. I wouldn't want him to be anything other than the loveable rogue he is!
Would kill to see either of these two play at this level again…

No disrespect here...but I'd really like extended highlights of that match...Olympics didn't post it. To win after being a set and a break down against NOVAK F'IN DJOKOVIC who is in such terrifying form...gotta watch that match.

An interesting matchup. Solid tried and true vs go for broke wildman
Why is it that Kyrgios has to play three times as well as any other player to get half the acknowledgement that he might just be possibly a good player? No wonder it gets him so totally down. He is brilliant. No he doesn't win slams or masters but neither do 180 of the other top 200 so why pick on him and call him a failure? He has tried to walk away from the sport many times because of what you all call him and they keep dragging him back because he is so good at it.
Because if he reined it in a bit, he could win a few slams! Maybe even more than Murray! Imagine him winning In Melbourne?!
He is only a good player, but not a great player. His mental ability and professionalism on court is his biggest enemy. If he could remain focused during matches he could be a stable top 10 player, without a doubt.
He’s his own worst opponent. A little more respect for the game, a lot more mental discipline.
"Because of what we all call him". Are you an idiot? He's not a victim. Someone who has behaved as he has behaved has earned all the labels people put on him.
Sports Lover. Because he's a bad mannered jerk and a bad loser. Always arguing with umpires, and he goes on and on and on. Holding up the game. He's a disgrace to tennis. His own worst enemy.
So I started playing this video and guess who comes on first...Rafa...My tennis love...Thank you.
Omg this athmophere is next level🥰🤩
Very nice.
Vintage Murray 😭
😭
Murray really has Kyrgios's number. One of the cleverest match players, Murray knows that to beat Kyrgios you have to find some way to frustrate him and he will become mentally confused and angry. Murray does it by mixing up the pace and with his amazing retrieving.

The more i watch Andy`s game the more i believe that if not for his hip issues, he would have won more GS and the "big3" much less than they have..
I feel that about Delpo too. He had severe injuries at a very young age. Could have become a champion and one of elite club.
Disagree, no serve no weapons. Only a grinder and with the hip injury hampered mobility to even be a good on defence.
Not even close to the big three. Don't be absurd

"No reaction from Kyrios"...14.09. He didn't have to react. His tennis said it all. I have always regarded Kyrios's tennis as "unpredictable".
Great adjective for his playing.
Kyrgios : 🥵🥵🥵
I can’t stand watching a player with such amazing talent squander a match with stupid showboating and unforced errors. Playing at that level requires respect for the sport.
then stop watching him? you hve psychos like Paire walking round, yet i dont see you crying about respect of the sport towards him
@@isobel64 ummm you’ve scanned my entire social media history to see if I’ve commented about Paire? And, sure, if the goal of an athlete in a spectator sport is to drive audience AWAY then, mission accomplished. Everything you’ve said is messed up.
Do you honestly think tennis would be better off without any showboaters in the mix? If everyone was just sensible and played the percentages all the time, you'd never see a second serve ace to save match point. You'd never see a 115 mph forehand. Not worth the risk. Why this one-size-fits-all attitude? Not everyone needs to try to be Djokovic. The whole notion that fooling around on court is disrespectful or immoral is misguided. Beating your opponent to smithereens is hardly a showpiece of morality. And joking around is only disrespectful if it expresses a belief that the other player isn't good enough to require your best effort, not if you're doing it because you're committed to having fun. In a few years Kyrgios will be off the tour and he'll regret not having enjoyed himself more than not having won a Slam, because that's who he is.
@@molybdaenmornell123hopp5 I honestly have no idea how you drew ANY of the things you said out of ANY of the things I said. And who said anything about morality???!! Get bent.
I’m growing to Kyrgios a little more. He’s very peculiar.
murray is fast, damn
Andy was unreal before he retired
am still waiting for the crowd to blow up.
It's like K doesn't really care about winning. He just want to entertain the crowd. It's like every match to him is an Exhibition match.
if only he could’ve acted like this during the us open
what year
US open is probably Kyrgios' 2nd favourite GS after Australian. The American fans love the showboating and are more applauding of stuff like that, where as other crowds are quiet due to respecting the players as they rally and then clap when the point is won.
Wimbledon crowd love kyrgios.
@@ScottH-ot8id I didnt say Wimbledon dislike him but the crowd is usually more reserved until the point has been won. In the US open, it feels like the crowd are always reacting to shots even if the rally is ongoing and Kyrgios loves the NBA culture.
Kyrogios has tremendous respect to his colonial master
Wtf typa comment 💀
Kyrgios could never beat Murray at his prime 🔥
lol if he has beat Nadal and Roger then he could defo beat him
@@mohamedorayith4626 Nadal and Federer wasnt in prime there :)
Kyrgios was 20 years old , He never lost against Djoko (2/0 ) murray's game similar to djoko .
@@mohamedorayith4626 Roger in 2017 was on unreal form Kyrgios nearly beat fed in Miami and Kyrgios beat Nadal in Cinncinati 2017
Kyrgios is too dependent on his serve and hitting winners. Murray could read Kyrgios's serve too well, and was one of the best at keeping the ball in play. He was no match for prime Murray, then again few were.
Where is this Murray? Beautiful ❤️
Should have made a thrown racket counter.
Kyrgios has a smashing forehand, but he cannot basic shots like drops and volleys! Wow

One is the man with the biggest personality in this business and one without a personality. You can guess which is which.
If Kyrgios was motivated in tour like he was at laver cup, the Big 3 could be Big 4
Talent vs Hard work and coaching
Murray played kyrgios at allll slams of 2015
Catch me up -- why was he in the press "for all the wrong reasons?"
Kyrgios is very good....he lost most of his points coz of following the ball that was already out

Nice fact indeed! But i guess beating Kyrgios in a Grand Slam isn't that big of a challenge tho
So someone will in fact invent time travel... and Mark Zuckerberg will attend the match to catch that precise ball (8:13). Avoiding who knows what catastrophic event.
Any particular reason why you want Mark to catch the ball?

It's strange when people say Nick K doesn't play to his full potential. Maybe he does, maybe he is just inconsistent ... consistency is difficult and very few players manage to get to and stay at the top. Just because he hits an amazing forehand every now and again doesn't mean shit. I find him entertaining, but he is not elite.
