Andy Murray turned my ‘life around’, says Nick Kyrgios
Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has praised British tennis player Andy Murray for turning his life around amid mental health struggles.
“Andy was always a big supporter of me,” Kyrgios told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“He saw it [scars] and said what’s that on your arm, it was pretty bad at that stage.
“Andy was trying to give me advice on it but I was just so stuck in my ways at that time, I didn’t listen.
“I thank him a lot.”
The Australian tennis player has made a point of speaking openly about his mental health struggles, after revealing he was considering suicide in 2019.
